I Am Your Natural Enemy

Yan Zhikong frowned slightly and greeted with a nod.

He formed a sword finger with his single hand, and as the electrical light flashed beside him, he saw the bullet embedded in the land slowly float out.

Amidst the flickering electric light, the form of a Thunder Talisman faintly appeared. The next moment, the bullet disappeared with a swoosh.

In the air, there was only a lightning trail that flashed and vanished.

The next moment, on a distant tree, someone was shot between the eyebrows and fell from the tree.

”Supreme Taiyi Savior Heavenly Master.”

Yan Zhikong recited the revered title, his expression becoming calm and indifferent.

His master, when once descending the mountain, also participated in a war.

Since childhood, he educated him to be compassionate, but this compassion wasn’t about being a mere naive good person.

He still remembered, his master said, when facing enemies, sending them off without pain as quickly as possible was compassion.

To injure, cripple enemies, then wait for others to rescue them, letting them live out their days in suffering and disability, was somewhat cruel.

Thus, if one is deemed an unjust enemy, then Mount Laojun’s way of compassion is to send them to heaven as fast as possible.

And greater compassion is to end the war swiftly, crushing along the way, breaking the enemy’s backbone, making them thoroughly understand true compassion.

This actually prevents more casualties and lays the foundation for peace.

Continuously dragging on a protracted war is actually a meat grinder of life.

Yan Zhikong deeply agreed with this, either don’t make a move or do it decisively, allowing the opponent to ascend without suffering.

So, he originally planned to speak reason but since the opponent wouldn’t listen, launching a surprise attack on him without warning, he could only temporarily forgo reasoning.

He formed a sword finger, with Yellow Talismans floating before him.

The electrical light began to flicker, with sharp sizzling sounds echoing, amidst the dazzling electric light, a lightning flew out with a swoosh, the brilliance was beyond the limit of the naked eye, directly entering the wooden hut.

The next moment, Yan Zhikong assumed a stance, stepping the Yu Step on the ground, footprints on the earth constructing a simple Dharma Altar, he stomped his foot, chanting in a low voice.

”Imperial Command!”

The next moment, a shocking thunder exploded in the sky, illuminating the dawn sky, five consecutive thunderbolts crashed into the wooden hut.

Flames roared up, resonating with the thunderlight.

Malignant energy rolled out, a skull-shaped phantom flew out wailing, the next moment, it was like functioning as a lightning rod, struck by a celestial thunder, instantly dissipating completely.

Within the wooden hut, Evil Spirits emitting dark energy screamed as they crawled out, only to vanish one by one immediately after emerging.

The wooden hut was ignited by blazing flames, Yan Zhikong still stood where he was, watching quietly.

After waiting for a while, he frowned slightly, looked in a direction, then took out the Compass, watched the needle spin once, confirming his sensations.

He formed a sword finger, three talismans flew out, ignited amidst the electrical light, transforming into lightning seemingly bound by some power.

The lightning, as directed by Yan Zhikong’s finger, continuously gathered, forming a lightning track over three meters long.

He took out a spherical Yellow Talisman, flicked it gently, the spherical Yellow Talisman flew out, landing on the lightning track.

Yan Zhikong looked in that direction, solemnly declaring.

”Mount Laojun, Yan Zhikong, repelling the unrighteous.”

The next moment, the power of the lightning surged several times over in an instant.

In an instant, there was only a fleeting lightning trail in the air.

A few hundred meters away, a man with tattoos on his face, bare-chested, crawled out of a tunnel.

He was terrified, never expecting the intruder to be so powerful, all the evil objects he prepared in his lair were swept away by the opponent in one go.

He was now thankful he had left himself a passageway, allowing his escape.

But as he crouched and took a few steps, he heard a few words by his ear, turned his head, and his expression froze there.

A dot of lightning flickered between his brows.

Instantly killed.

Immediately, the power of Thunder Fire erupted, enveloping his body, cremating with fire on the spot.

Yan Zhikong glanced at the Compass in his hand, after the needle spun a dozen times, it stopped moving.

He put away the Compass, turned around and started walking back.

In the distance, the driver in the car turned pale, with the thunder and fire, it was as if in a blink, that master’s residence was struck by lightning.

Seeing Yan Zhikong approaching, the driver quickly started the engine.

Yan Zhikong got into the car, as amiable as ever.

”Sorry for the wait, we can go now.”

As they drove away, the driver couldn’t help but glance in the rearview mirror, hesitating to speak.

Yan Zhikong was very amiable.

”If you have something to say, feel free to speak.”

”Is that Daoist Skill?”

”Actually, it’s not traditional Daoist Skill.

It’s just that the air here is moist, the clouds were primed for thunderstorms today anyway.

Just summoned down celestial thunder with special methods.

As for the latter, it’s actually simple, just requires basic electromagnetic knowledge.

Just simulated an electromagnetic track.

My talent is average, traditional Daoist Skills, I haven’t learned much yet.”

”...” The driver was utterly bewildered, hesitating to speak, really not knowing what to say.
