The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 347: Chapter 347: Young Master Cheng, You’re a God

Yin Suwen was terrified, looking at Zhu Yonghong with great anxiety. ”Professor Zhu, what’s happened to my Old Zhou?”

Professor Zhu was completely baffled. He had no idea what was going on. Forcing a calm expression, he looked at Zhou Yadong. ”Governor Zhou, you must be joking, right? You have so much Yang Qi in your body right now. How could you possibly be cold?”

”I... I’m not... not kidding. I... I’m really so cold! I... I feel like I’m going to die! Professor Zhu, save me!!”

Zhu Yonghong raised a hand to take Zhou Yadong’s pulse. His expression changed drastically!

’How can this be?’

’I just clearly expelled all the Cold Qi from Zhou Yadong’s body. Why has such dense Cold Qi gathered inside him again?’

’This was completely beyond Zhu Yonghong’s comprehension!’

Zhu Yonghong reacted quickly. He said in a grave voice, ”Perhaps I removed the needles too soon and didn’t expel all of the Cold Qi. I’ll perform the acupuncture on Governor Zhou one more time!”

Saying this, Zhu Yonghong once again took out his Silver Needles and aimed for Zhou Yadong’s acupoints.

Before, Zhu Yonghong’s Silver Needles had easily pierced the acupoints and generated Yang Qi. This time, however, he felt a strong resistance!

It was as if he wasn’t piercing an acupoint, but a thick sheet of leather!

After exerting a tremendous amount of effort, Zhu Yonghong finally managed to insert the first Silver Needle!

Before any Yang Qi could be generated, an indescribably dense wave of Cold Qi shot up the Silver Needle! It quickly coated the entire needle before invading Zhu Yonghong’s body!

Zhu Yonghong shivered, his mind reeling. A vision of a Four-Clawed Python, over ten meters long, appeared before him. The massive serpent opened its cavernous, blood-red maw to swallow him!

”Ah! A snake! A giant snake!!”

Zhu Yonghong cried out in alarm, instinctively letting go. He fell flat on his backside and scrambled backward on all fours!

CLINK!

The Silver Needle was flung away by the Evil Qi and clattered to the floor!

Feeling provoked, the Resentful Spirit within the Promotion and Wealth Chair erupted. Evil Qi, ten times more potent than before, surged through the black threads and into Zhou Yadong’s body!

Zhou Yadong suddenly began to convulse, foaming at the mouth as if he were being electrocuted!

Professor Zhu’s assistants were terrified. They had no idea what to do and could only turn to look at him instinctively.

On the verge of tears from panic, Yin Suwen rushed forward and shook Zhou Yadong forcefully. ”Old Zhou, don’t you scare me! Please, don’t scare me!”

As she shouted, Yin Suwen turned to glare at Zhu Yonghong. ”Professor Zhu! What’s happening to my Old Zhou? You have to save him!!”

Zhu Yonghong finally snapped out of it. He struggled to his feet, hurried to the bedside, and observed the patient.

Zhu Yonghong saw that Zhou Yadong’s pupils were already starting to dilate. He said with a bitter expression, ”Madam Yin, please prepare yourself. I’m afraid Governor Zhou... is not going to make it.”

Yin Suwen completely lost it. ”Zhu Yonghong, you just kept insisting Old Zhou’s illness was easy to treat! If anything happens to him, I’ll never be finished with you!!”

Professor Zhu’s face was ashen. If Governor Zhou died, his reputation would suffer a devastating blow. He might never be able to practice medicine again!

Professor Zhu’s assistants were also deathly pale. If their teacher’s reputation was ruined, theirs would be too, and they’d become pariahs.

All their years of hard work would go up in smoke!

Dragged down by Professor Zhu, they would never become licensed doctors!

’I can’t accept this!’

An assistant named Wang Chaodong’s eyes darted about as a plan formed in his mind.

”Teacher, didn’t that Young Master Cheng say he could cure Governor Zhou? We need to hurry and get him back here!”

Professor Zhu’s eyes lit up. He shot Wang Chaodong an approving glance. ’This kid has a bright future,’ he thought. ’What a brilliant way to shift the blame!’

’If Zhou Yadong dies at the hands of Young Master Cheng, then it will have nothing to do with me!’

’My only worry is that Cheng Yuan won’t be willing to take over!’

’Whatever, it’s a desperate gamble, but I have to take it!’

”Madam Zhou, quickly, contact Director Zhang! Have him bring Young Master Cheng back! Perhaps Governor Zhou can still be saved!”

Yin Suwen clung to this last glimmer of hope. ”Which Director Zhang?” she asked desperately.

”Director Zhang of the Commerce and Industry Bureau.”

”Okay, right!”

Yin Suwen quickly dialed Zhang Guoqiang’s number.

The villas in this mountaintop community were huge. By now, Cheng Yuan and Zhang Guoqiang had only just reached Villa Number Five.

When Zhang Guoqiang’s phone rang, Cheng Yuan broke into a grin. ”Let me guess. That must be Governor Zhou’s family.”

Zhang Guoqiang skeptically pulled out his phone. He froze, then gave Cheng Yuan a long, hard look. The kid was right!

”Young Master Cheng, are you psychic or something? It really is Old Zhou’s family!”

Cheng Yuan grinned. ”I’m no psychic. I just know that Professor Zhu is extremely arrogant and wouldn’t possibly heed my warning. I was certain he would use his needles on Governor Zhou. By now, something must have gone terribly wrong, and they’re calling you to ask me to come back.”

Zhang Guoqiang answered the call. Yin Suwen’s panicked voice came from the other end. ”Old Zhang, can you please bring Young Master Cheng back over! Old Zhou is dying! *sob sob sob*...”

”Alright, I’ll try.”

Zhang Guoqiang hung up and stared at Cheng Yuan as if he were looking at some kind of freak of nature. ”Young Master Cheng, you’re incredible! You were right on the money! Old Zhou’s wife wants me to bring you back.”

Cheng Yuan gave Director Zhang a wry look. ”Director Zhang, if you were the one who’d been so rudely kicked out of their house, would you go back?”

Zhang Guoqiang was speechless. Old Zhou had been completely out of line earlier. ’If it were me,’ he thought, ’I wouldn’t give a damn whether Old Zhou lived or died!’

But he couldn’t just stand by and watch his old friend die.

”Young Master Cheng, Old Zhou was in the wrong earlier, and I apologize on his behalf! You’re a doctor. A healer’s first duty is to save lives with a compassionate heart! I’m begging you, please don’t hold it against him. Please, save him! I’ll make sure Old Zhou gives you a sincere apology afterward!”

Cheng Yuan grinned. ”You’re right, Director Zhang. I am a doctor, and I can’t just watch a patient die in front of me. I’ll consider this a favor for you.”

Zhang Guoqiang was ecstatic. He never thought his influence with Young Master Cheng was so great!

Zhang Guoqiang said with deep sincerity, ”Thank you, Young Master Cheng! I owe you one for this! In the future, if you ever need anything, just say the word. I, Zhang Guoqiang, will follow your orders without question!”

Soon, the two of them arrived back at Villa Number Eight.

Yin Suwen led them straight to the physical therapy room.

Professor Zhu and his assistants were performing CPR and pinching Zhou Yadong’s philtrum, doing everything they could to keep him barely breathing and stop him from kicking the bucket.

Cheng Yuan strode forward and berated him without mercy. ”Zhu Yonghong, I gave you a stern warning not to use your needles on Governor Zhou! But you let my words go in one ear and out the other! Are you trying to kill him?”

Professor Zhu’s face flushed red with humiliation, but he couldn’t offer a single word in his defense. He immediately capitulated.

”Young Master Cheng! It’s all this old man’s fault! I didn’t listen to your advice, and now I’ve made a terrible mistake! I’m begging you, please, save Governor Zhou!”

Cheng Yuan snorted. ”Professor Zhu, you tell me to get lost, so I’m supposed to get lost. You tell me to save him, so I’m supposed to save him? Is that how things work in this world?”
