The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 329: Chapter 329: Shishi Medical Beauty Company

Cheng Yuan took the scolding without a hint of anger. In fact, he wasn’t mad at all; instead, he felt a genuine respect for Song Yujun.

’Now that’s a truly good mother!’

’Unlike the old master of the Lin Family, who only knows how to throw his granddaughter under the bus.’

”Auntie, since you’ve made up your mind, I won’t insist. If you change your mind, the doors of Yuanxi Pharmaceutical will always be open to you.”

”That won’t be necessary.”

Cheng Yuan sighed. He didn’t press the matter and asked softly, ”Is Sister Shishi home? I want to apologize to her in person.”

’How dare Cheng Yuan even mention Hu Shishi?’

Song Yujun and Hu Minjiang nearly exploded on the spot.

Hu Yidao quickly shot them a meaningful look and cut in, ”Shishi isn’t home. She won’t be back anytime soon.”

Cheng Yuan sighed. ’It seems breaking the engagement was a huge blow to Sister Shishi. But if I hadn’t made a clean break, her feelings would have only grown deeper.’

”Since Sister Shishi isn’t home, I’ll take my leave. Please, let me know when she returns.”

”Mm.”

”Uncle Hu, Auntie, and Minjiang, I’ll be leaving now.”

Cheng Yuan left.

As if all her strength had been drained, Song Yujun collapsed into her chair.

’Heaven knows how much courage it took to refuse such a massive piece of the pie.’

Hu Yidao didn’t question Song Yujun’s decision. He just gently patted her shoulder.

Hu Minjiang gave Song Yujun a deep look. ’Women really do have a major flaw when it comes to business,’ he thought. ’They’re far too emotional!’

’Emotionally, I support my mom.’

’But rationally, this is a mistake.’

’You have to be a fool to turn down money!’

’The more he wronged my sister, the more of his money we should take. We should bleed him dry until he goes bankrupt!’

Not wanting to miss out on this huge piece of the pie, Hu Minjiang hurried to catch up with Cheng Yuan.

”Cheng Yuan, my mom is furious with you, so don’t take it to heart. The Lingxi Health Beverage is a great product, and I can be your distributor!”

Cheng Yuan asked hesitantly, ”Minjiang, are you able to make decisions for the Hu Group? Will your mother agree to this?”

”I just returned to the country, so I haven’t taken over the Hu Group yet. However, I can establish a new pharmaceutical company or a medical beauty agency.”

”That works too. Call me once it’s set up. My number is 185-XXXX-XXXX.”

”With the Hu Family’s influence, I can get all the paperwork sorted out this afternoon. Let’s sign the contract tonight! I’ll book a table at Wangjiang Pavilion.”

”Alright.”

After a pause, Hu Minjiang said coldly, ”Cheng Yuan, don’t get me wrong. This is strictly a business partnership. It doesn’t mean I’ve forgiven you! I never will!”

With that, Hu Minjiang turned and walked away.

「Inside the Hu Family’s main hall.」

Song Yujun pounded Hu Yidao’s chest twice, choking back sobs. ”Yidao, why were you so polite to Cheng Yuan? You’re the president of the Dongshan Martial Dao Association! The number one expert in the Dongshan Martial Dao Realm! You have no reason to be afraid of him!”

Hu Yidao smiled wryly. ”Yujun, there are things you don’t know. When Niu Fu returned from Beijing last time, he brought back top-secret intelligence! Cheng Yuan is an incredible Alchemist! He can concoct a Three Patterns Elixir! Even Prince Duan and the Danba Saint Child have become his sworn brothers! And there’s one more unconfirmed report... it’s highly likely that Cheng Yuan has been taken as a disciple by the Old Dragon King!”

With every name Hu Yidao mentioned, Song Yujun’s eyes widened as she held her breath.

Both Prince Duan and the Danba Saint Child could annihilate their Hu Family with ease.

When Hu Yidao uttered the words ”Old Dragon King,” Song Yujun was utterly terrified. Her jaw dropped so wide you could have fit a goose egg in it.

”The... The Old Dragon King? Isn’t he the number one expert in the Ancient Martial Realm today?”

”Yes. Before this, the Old Dragon King had only ever accepted two disciples: the Dragon Lord and the Dragon Head. What kind of heights do you think Cheng Yuan will reach? So, even if our Hu Family can’t become his in-laws, we absolutely cannot become his enemies! The more indebted Cheng Yuan feels to us, the more prosperous our family’s future will be! He might even become a Protective Talisman for the Hu Family!”

”You have a point... but this is all at the cost of our daughter’s life...”

Hu Yidao fell silent. His daughter’s sacrifice was indeed too great.

Even the Old Valley Master of Medicine Valley, the foremost Divine Doctor in the Ancient Martial Realm, was helpless. This time, their daughter was truly beyond saving.

Cheng Yuan returned to Yuanxi Pharmaceutical and told Lin Ruoxi everything that had happened at the Hu residence.

Lin Ruoxi’s heart ached for him. She could only imagine the cold shoulder and harsh words he must have endured.

’At a time like this, I have to be there for my man!’

Lin Ruoxi took the initiative to hug Cheng Yuan, pressing her face against his chest and murmuring softly, ”Honey, you’ve been through so much.”

Cheng Yuan cupped Lin Ruoxi’s face in his hands and gazed at her deeply. ”Ruoxi, for you, I’d endure anything.”

Lin Ruoxi felt a wave of happiness wash over her. Her heart fluttered, and she leaned in to kiss him.

A full two minutes passed before they broke apart. Lin Ruoxi, blushing, whispered shyly in his ear, ”Honey, I think my ’visitor’ has left! Tonight...”

At this, Lin Ruoxi’s face flushed crimson, and she couldn’t bring herself to finish the sentence.

Cheng Yuan was instantly thrilled!

’My wife’s ’visitor’ is finally gone?’

’Am I finally free?’

In his excitement, Cheng Yuan remembered Hu Minjiang’s invitation.

”Honey, like I mentioned, Hu Minjiang invited me to dinner. I’ll try to wrap it up quickly and come back as soon as I can.”

Lin Ruoxi smiled. ”Don’t rush, honey. As it happens, I also have to host a dinner for some important distributors tonight. Where are you and Hu Minjiang meeting?”

”Wangjiang Pavilion.”

”In that case, I’ll book a table at Wangjiang Pavilion too. You can swing by and make an appearance after your dinner.”

”Alright.”

...

Time passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye, the sky grew dark.

One had to admit, the Hu Family’s influence in Provincial City was truly immense.

In just a single afternoon, Hu Minjiang had successfully registered the Shishi Medical Beauty Company.

Hu Minjiang had used his sister’s name to register the company for two reasons: one, to commemorate her, and two, to make Cheng Yuan feel guilty.

He wanted Cheng Yuan to be reminded of his sister every time they did business.

Hu Minjiang arrived at the top floor of Wangjiang Pavilion with a few friends and quietly waited for Cheng Yuan.

These friends were business partners Hu Minjiang had brought in—some providing capital, others office space. They were all thrilled at the prospect of hitching their wagons to the Yuanxi Pharmaceutical Company powerhouse.

In the first-floor lobby, a young man dressed in casual Hermès clothes walked into the hall.

The lobby manager eagerly rushed forward to greet him, saying respectfully, ”Young Master, what brings you in today?”

The young man was Zhou Cong, son of Zhou Bingkun, the owner of Wangjiang Pavilion.

Just moments before, his childhood friend, Mingtai, had contacted him, asking him to prepare a private room at Wangjiang Pavilion to entertain a distinguished guest.

Mingtai was the son of Vermilion Bird.

Vermilion Bird was just a title; his real name was Ming Shizhong.

Zhou Cong gave his order coolly, ”Prepare the best private room on the top floor of Wangjiang Pavilion. I need to host a distinguished guest!”

The lobby manager gave a wry smile. ”Young Master, the top floor of Wangjiang Pavilion is already booked. How about I find another private room for you?”

Zhou Cong’s expression darkened. ”I must have the top-floor suite tonight. Contact the other party immediately and have them move. Tell them that I, Zhou Cong, will owe them a favor. And give them 40% off their bill for the evening!”
