Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 331: Chapter 182: For You to Pinch, Every Day You Can Pinch (First Update)

Grandma Shu looked at the Crazy Girl with a complex expression. After a while, she nodded and said, ”Alright, if you don’t mind, I will stay with you for the time being during these days.”

”Although I’m old, my health is still good, and I can cook well. At least I can live until you have the baby.

Grandma Shu said with a touch of sadness, her eyes lingering reluctantly on the Crazy Girl’s belly.

The Crazy Girl glanced at Francis Johnson and said to Grandma Shu, ”How could I mind? It’s just that the child isn’t doing well, and the doctor says I need to take measures to protect the pregnancy...”

Francis Johnson said calmly, ”I’ll make a call and schedule an appointment with the doctor for you.”

”Thank you, Mr. Zhao.” The Crazy Girl quickly expressed her gratitude to him, feeling somewhat relieved.

With this child diverting her attention, she finally stopped seeking death.

...

The next morning, Lawrence Winters finally woke up, her head no longer aching, and her limbs felt rested.

She opened her eyes and saw Kenneth Osborne still sleeping by her bedside.

His hair was pitch-black with a slight natural curl.

Lawrence Winters couldn’t help but reach out and touch Kenneth Osborne’s head.

Kenneth Osborne was woken by her touch and looked up to see Lawrence smiling at him, her peach-like face flushed and tender, truly a sight to behold.

He habitually lifted his hand to pinch her cheek, his head still resting on his arm, smiling at her without saying a word.

His eyes were tender beyond measure, and his handsome face was dazzling like a glowing pure diamond that would refract rainbow coronas with just a touch of light.

Lawrence was mesmerized, thinking that truly beautiful people naturally have a soft light beauty effect...

She obediently tilted her head, placing her half of her adorable peach-like face into Kenneth Osborne’s hand, murmuring, ”Pinch me... pinch me... you can pinch me every day...”

Kenneth Osborne was utterly charmed by her cuteness, his heart soft, yet he couldn’t bear to pinch her. He gently touched her soft cheek with his palm and said, ”Don’t you hate it when others pinch your face?”

”But Brother Kenneth isn’t others... Others can’t pinch it, only Brother Kenneth can... Yeah... just like that.” Lawrence Winters nodded earnestly, looking very solemn.

If he hadn’t remembered the lovely girl solemnly declaring yesterday, ”You can fool my feelings, but you can’t fool my money,” Kenneth Osborne would have given her his heart.

For now, he reluctantly kept his heart in his chest, focusing on earning money first.

He reluctantly touched her face again and said, ”Are you feeling better?”

”Yes, I’m completely fine.” Lawrence Winters raised her hand to hold his, ”See, I can shake hands with you. Please ask the doctor to remove this headgear; my neck is going to get a crick.”

Kenneth Osborne nodded and pressed a button next to the hospital bed.

After a while, a doctor came in with several nurses.

”How about it? Do you still feel dizzy or nauseous?” The doctor asked conscientiously, checking the instruments recording her medical data.

Lawrence Winters said, ”No, I don’t feel any discomfort at all. I’m completely fine. Can you let me go?”

The doctor smiled and said, ”Let me check the data, and if everything’s fine, you can leave.”

As the doctor checked the instruments, the nurses started taking Lawrence Winters’ temperature and pulse and measuring her head circumference and neck circumference.

Once the nurses were done, the doctor finished checking the data and said with a smile, ”Everything has indeed returned to normal. You fell from the tenth floor, and although there was an air cushion on the ground, the impact was still significant. You need to rest in bed for a week after you go home to consolidate your recovery and prevent any relapse, which would be troublesome to treat.”

Lawrence Winters agreed to everything, and Kenneth Osborne remembered the doctor’s orders clearly.

After the doctor left, Kenneth Osborne lifted the quilt and helped Lawrence Winters get out of bed.

Lawrence Winters frowned and said, ”I haven’t showered; I smell.”

Kenneth Osborne: ”...”

”Where’s the smell? Let me smell...” Kenneth Osborne said, then kissed her again and said, ”Still smells like peaches.”

Lawrence Winters was about to playfully hit him when they suddenly heard someone cough twice.

Kenneth Osborne and Lawrence Winters both blushed.

They looked up together to see Gabrielle Winters, Nick Zeller, and the old Daoist standing at the doorway of the hospital room.

Gabrielle Winters was smiling broadly, with the expression of a ”mother-in-law looking at her son-in-law, liking him more and more.”

Nick Zeller and the old Daoist both looked displeased, like their tenderly nurtured little cabbage had been... picked by a handsome guy.
