Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 322: Chapter 178: Don’t Worry, I’ll Handle It (Third Update)

Justus Spencer put on his Bluetooth headset and quickly packed his briefcase. As he walked out, he laughed and said, ”As expected, my second sister understands me best. I agree with your thoughts. But we can’t handle this matter that way. I’m coming to you right now. I’ll make you my spokesperson, and we’ll tackle this together.”

”No problem! Crisis public relations is my specialty!” Summer Spencer said excitedly. ”Before you arrive, I’ll create some momentum for you! You need to know that the local police are most afraid of this blowing up on the internet. Besides, they are indeed non-compliant, and we can write many articles about it!”

Justus Spencer thought, that’s good too; otherwise, it would be difficult to make a breakthrough with the local police.

”Alright, do whatever you think is best. I trust your ability!”

...

Summer Spencer hung up the phone and immediately called the PR department she used to work for, to get the full story.

When she learned that Joyce Shaw from Yanda had died in a car accident but had reported that it was their company who wanted to harm her, she immediately fumed, saying, ”... Just because he says someone is out to kill him, it’s true?! Where’s the evidence?! Wasn’t he working overtime until his brain was foggy? How can anyone believe such nonsense?!”

The PR director on the other end of the phone smirked and said, ”Where’s the evidence? The man’s already dead!”

Summer Spencer chuckled, ”So just because he’s dead, it’s impressive? Is his family thinking about extorting money from us? Alright, have the lawyers on standby, I’d like to see who exactly his family thinks they are, trying to scam the Spencer Group!”

Thinking she understood the whole truth, Summer Spencer immediately discussed the strategy with the PR director and began to operate.

The PR director contacted their partner marketing accounts and troll companies, meanwhile, they also had their own batch of troll accounts.

Summer Spencer personally took charge, using the on-site photos from Victory Wise Corporation sent by the PR director, carefully composing a long Weibo post, publishing it from Victory Wise Corporation’s official account, and tagging the local police’s official account.

Her headline was #Police Unreasonably Seals Legal Enterprise, Victory Wise’s Complaints Unheard!#.

It featured nine photos, creating a sophisticated nine-grid collage.

Each photo highlighted the police’s arrogance and domineering behavior.

The yellow tape and the desolate scene of the company being emptied sparked a huge reaction once posted.

Eight thousand marketing accounts entered the fray, along with various trolls merging together, immediately causing a repost frenzy.

Likes and comments numbers steadily rose.

They hadn’t even paid to trend, yet this long Weibo post quickly climbed into the top ten search trends.

And the momentum grew larger and larger, even when the local police offered an explanation, few were willing to read the clarifications; more were keen on using their passion to repost stories of ”upholding justice.”

Lawrence Winters spotted this trending momentum immediately.

Part of her important job was to monitor social media, to promptly handle negative news about the company’s talents, nipping these in the bud.

So as soon as she saw Victory Wise Corporation’s official account, she immediately understood that they were using Joyce Shaw’s death to stir trouble.

It was certain that Victory Wise Corporation would stir things up on Weibo; Lawrence wasn’t surprised at all. She was just furious that in Victory Wise Corporation’s Weibo post, Joyce Shaw’s passing wasn’t mentioned at all!

Even knowing that Joyce Shaw’s death was natural, for a company to ignore the death of a key employee is already very cold-hearted.

Moreover, Joyce Shaw’s death was closely related to Victory Wise Corporation, and at the very least, her direct supervisor Thomas couldn’t deny responsibility.

And she saw the local police’s defense as well, which was so hardcore that it couldn’t attract attention, quickly drowned in the fresh wave of posts from Weibo average ’bachelor degree’ users.

Alright, so you want to stir up trouble?

Lawrence Winters was just afraid that Victory Wise wouldn’t voluntarily jump out, otherwise, she’d really have no grounds to act.

Seeing Victory Wise Corporation’s Weibo climb to the top three, with comments spiraling out of Victory Wise’s control, Lawrence took out the account she had just created.

An account created in the name of Joyce Shaw’s grandmother.

Moreover, she had obtained Joyce Shaw’s grandmother’s ID number from a wild sister, passing real-name authentication.

She calmly logged into this account and in a very sorrowful yet humble tone, she posted a short Weibo, tagging Spencer Group’s official account, Victory Wise’s official account, and the local police’s official account.

@Spencer Group, @Victory Wise Official, @Online Police, hello, I just want to ask you, my only grandson Joyce Shaw, as the technical director of Spencer Group, was killed this morning by two of Spencer Group’s colleagues. When will the murderer be caught? I’m already seventy-six, don’t have many days left. Once again burying a child as an old woman, I need to know the outcome, so I can go down and explain it to my son and daughter-in-law. Otherwise, I have no face to face my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. I beg you, give me some justice...
