Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 312: Chapter 174: The Power of Ordinary People

It’s normal not to know the license plate if they don’t work together.

Francis Johnson got out of the car, wearing sunglasses and a mask to cover his face, and showed his credentials to the local police.

The local police immediately let him into the scene.

At that moment, Joyce Shaw was being carried out of the wrecked car by the firefighters.

He was covered in blood, staining his entire coat red.

Francis Johnson was slightly stunned, ”...Is this the car owner? What injuries? Are the injuries serious?”

”Yes, he is the owner of this car. The injuries seem quite serious, and he needs immediate blood stoppage.”

Francis Johnson’s expression turned solemn, quickly walked over, and at a glance saw it was Joyce Shaw, he hurriedly asked the firefighters, ”How is he now?”

The firefighters sighed, ”Not sure, the injuries are severe.”

Francis Johnson looked at Joyce Shaw’s pale face and in a low voice said, ”Joyce Shaw? Joyce Shaw? Can you hear me? I’m Francis Johnson.”

Joyce Shaw was holding onto a breath, heard someone speaking, and it was one of the names he was thinking about, he quickly tried to open his eyes and saw a man wearing sunglasses and a mask.

His lips quivered slightly, Francis Johnson quickly removed the mask and took off the sunglasses.

Joyce Shaw immediately opened his eyes wide, handed the cell phone he was tightly gripping to him, and with all his strength said, ”Notebook... the boot password is Madwoman sister’s birthday...”

Francis Johnson immediately took it.

Joyce Shaw let out a long breath, his arm went limp and dangled over the edge of the stretcher, his eyes closed.

Francis Johnson held his phone, which was covered in bloodstains; if he hadn’t been wearing transparent plastic gloves, his hands would be blood-soaked.

He calmed himself, took out a small plastic bag, put Joyce Shaw’s phone inside, then walked over to follow the ambulance to the local hospital, while calling Kenneth Osborne, saying, ”Found him, he’s seriously injured and being sent to the hospital.”

Then asked him, ”Do you know Madwoman sister’s birthday?”

Kenneth Osborne shook his head, ”I don’t know, but Nora knows.”

So he immediately phoned Lawrence Winters asking, ”Nora, what day is Madwoman sister’s birthday?”

Lawrence Winters was puzzled, but hearing Kenneth Osborne’s anxious tone, she didn’t dwell on why he was asking and looked at her phone reminders, telling him the date.

Kenneth Osborne immediately passed it on to Francis Johnson.

Francis Johnson entered Madwoman sister’s birthday and unlocked Joyce Shaw’s phone.

Kenneth Osborne obtained the hospital address and immediately drove over.

Before reaching the place, he received another call from Francis Johnson, ”Kenneth, I’m taking Joyce Shaw to the city’s hospital, the address is here, by the way, bring his fiancée Madwoman sister.”

Kenneth Osborne’s heart suddenly sank, his eyes turned red, and he repeatedly asked, ”Will Joyce Shaw be okay? Will Joyce Shaw be okay?!”

”...I’ll do my best.” Francis Johnson wasn’t a doctor and didn’t dare promise.

He just rubbed the phone that had been cleaned off, recalling the information he saw when it booted up, his face even grimmer.

He first forwarded the information to Christopher Mason, and then asked Christopher for a favor, requesting Leo Carter and Ian Lothrop’s help to treat Joyce Shaw.

Christopher Mason asked him in a calm voice, ”...Why? Do you have a special reason?”

Requesting Leo Carter to treat him was one thing, but also bringing Ian Lothrop into it involved many aspects, the greatest risk being potentially exposing Ian Lothrop’s true identity to outsiders.

The tremor it could cause was something Francis Johnson couldn’t bear, and even Christopher Mason might not be able to bear the consequences.

Francis Johnson, eyes red, said word by word, ”I know my request is excessive, he’s just an ordinary person, he’s not qualified for Leo Carter and Professor Ian’s treatment, but it’s him who disregarded his own life to get us this list.”

Christopher Mason was slightly stunned, ”...He got the list? Why didn’t you say earlier.”

After saying it, Christopher Mason didn’t waste more words, he immediately called Leo Carter to prepare the best team and medical equipment ready to treat Joyce Shaw.

Then he had Lydia Graham call Ian Lothrop, explaining the situation.

If Christopher Mason directly called Ian Lothrop for help, Ian sometimes deliberately made it difficult, rarely directly acceding to his requests.

But now is not the time they could stalemate.

Every minute, even every second could affect a life or death.

Lydia Graham understood the situation Christopher Mason relayed from Francis Johnson and immediately said, ”No problem, I’ll have my father go to Leo Carter’s hospital under another identity, have them prepare surgical scrubs.”

Lydia Graham took action, certainly Ian Lothrop had no choice but to obediently comply.
