Chapter 1248: Chapter 537: Bitter Battle Against Tzeentch’s Demon Army

”Chaos scrap!” Laine raised his hand: ”Spiritual Storm!”

”Witchcraft Flame!” Carlos’s Magic Staff pointed directly at Laine’s body, chanting a spell, multi-colored flames tearing through space, colliding with the lightning of the Spiritual Storm, erupting in a massive energy explosion on the city walls.

The Chaos Great Demon was oblivious to this, increasing the power of the Flame of Tzeentch, facing Laine’s Spiritual Storm head-on while its other head seemed to sense something, turning towards the other side of the city wall.

”Meet your end, Chaos scrap!” Several young Ranger Knights charged towards the Chaos Great Demon, shouting the name of the Lake Fairy: ”For the Lady!”

Demon Fire spouted from its other hand’s fingers, after the multicolored flames, those young Ranger Knights vanished, leaving only a few heaps of writhing and rolling flesh on the ground.

Then as if anticipating, Carlos nonchalantly conjured a Magic Barrier to block the Ice Arrow released by Teresa, the lightning arrow from Mogiana, and the bullets of the Dwarf Musketeer. The Chaos Great Demon pointed at where Mogiana stood, and the Lake God Witch was instantly blown away.

Teresa sensed something was wrong, and the female sorcerer immediately raised the Violet Staff: ”Ice Barrier!”

The next second, the Ice Barrier shattered into pieces, and Teresa was directly thrown several meters away, landing not far off.

Witnessing this scene, Laine couldn’t help but be enraged. He roared, amplifying the energy of the Spiritual Storm. At the same time, Mjolnir swept upwards, the thunder-lit hammer tip aiming directly for the right brain of the Chaos Great Demon!

”Your every move has been seen through by me.” The Great Demon of Tzeentch emitted a sharp laugh; it was well-prepared.

Just as Laine was about to exert force on his Warhammer, Carlos had already seen through Laine’s attack trajectory, his Magic Staff descending from the air, precisely striking Laine’s wrist.

”Ugh!” With his wrist under attack, Laine lowly growled. He was about to roll back to increase distance for another battle when, just as he stepped back, the sharp claw of the Great Demon of Tzeentch pinched his neck.

”Trying to back off and create distance with me?”

”No, you cannot!”

As the words fell, the Great Demon of Tzeentch roared wildly, grabbing Laine’s neck, and forcefully swung him outwards. Laine shot out like a cannonball, directly crashing into the city wall tower, creating a large pit.

Carlos’s wings spread open, and in an instant, he flew to Laine’s front. Laine immediately counterattacked using Mjolnir.

”Seen through!”

As before, Carlos effortlessly saw through Laine’s attack trajectory. His Magic Staff once again hit Laine’s wrist; the old strength was gone, and new strength hadn’t formed yet. Carlos continued to grip Laine’s neck: ”Your every single action is in the hands of the great Saint Tzeentch! Let me tell you, you...”

”How about this?!” Laine suddenly grabbed the hand clutching his neck, then unleashed his Spiritual Energy fully, drowning both Carlos and himself in the erupting Spiritual Storm!

The Great Demon of Tzeentch let out a painful howl, both sides simultaneously falling from the city walls.

Mud and water splashed up on the swamp near the Sharp-Top Palace. Laine only felt the sound of a heavy object landing on him. He immediately turned over to rise, and as he did so, the flames on Carlos’s Magic Staff swept over the area, drying out a portion of the swamp.

Feeling the damp and cold environment of Musillon, Laine flipped himself onto his feet, shouted in fury, and launched a new attack using his Warhammer. The Griffin Empress had already heard Laine’s call; the giant beast unfolded its wings and sped towards where Laine stood from the Sharp-Top Palace.

”Ugh!” The Great Demon of Tzeentch Carlos somewhat embarrassedly climbed up from the ground, unfolding his wings and unleashing his roar, raising his hand, while Chaos Magic’s lightning and the Flame of Tzeentch directly engulfed Laine’s body.

The Great Demon of Tzeentch displayed a satisfied expression, as such powerful magic supposedly left nearly no mortal capable of resisting. It raised its Magic Staff, ready to deliver a fatal blow to Laine!

However, reality disappointed it. A silver arc dispersed the flames and lightning, with Laine’s figure leaping out from the colorful flames and burning lightning, his Warhammer held high: ”Meet your end, Chaos scrap!”

”Seen through!” The Chaos Great Demon Carlos reacted immediately in surprise, both bird heads locking tightly onto Laine’s actions.

The Divine Chosen Champion of the Lake Fairy descended from the high skies. As his Warhammer’s head was about to strike Carlos, the Chaos Domain stirred a vortex, a bluish-green Wizard’s Fire covering Carlos completely, the murmurs of the Great Demon of Tzeentch echoing in Laine’s ears endlessly, overwhelming in power, leaving Carlos without the slightest fear.

Even without using his foresight abilities, the Fate Weaver could tell how formidable Laine’s strike was; with even the slightest neglect, Carlos would inevitably drink in regret under this human hero’s hammer and sword.

But as long as there was a trace to follow, even Laine Macado had no chance of defeating oneself, the first Chaos Great Demon of Tzeentch’s court!

Carlos emitted a sharp, screeching hiss, deftly sidestepping in a flash, deftly dodging Laine’s attack at an almost perfect timing.

The timing was so exquisite: had Carlos evaded too quickly, Laine would immediately change his stance; if he dodged too slowly, Carlos would be hit by the Warhammer. The Great Demon of Tzeentch caught the unimaginably impeccable timing, his claw extending from the blue Chaos Armor and white robe, pressing down on Laine’s head, driving him towards the ground.
