Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2439: Chapter 2440: Return to Tianyun (6)

Once the door was closed, An Jing asked them to come a bit closer to her and her husband. When Su Yi Jing and the others approached, An Jing whispered to them, ”What I’m about to say might sound absurd, but it’s absolutely true. I hope you can trust both your dad and me. Even though it’s absurd, don’t tell your wives, just keep it to yourselves. I’m only saying this to give you peace of mind.”

Representing the group, Su Yi Jing said, ”Of course, we trust what you and dad say. Go ahead and speak, mom. No matter what we hear today, we will keep it to ourselves.”

Su Yi Xing and the others nodded in agreement, showing the same attitude as their eldest brother, Su Yi Jing.

Only then did An Jing lower her voice and say, ”During the three years your dad and I were unconscious, our souls... no, it should be our consciousness... well, I’m not sure how to explain it. Anyway, it seemed we were in a coma here, but we were actually in another world, living inside another person’s body, experiencing a whole lifetime before coming back.”

”Your dad and I had two more children there, called Su Mo and Su Xing, but your poor sister Xin’er was lost, sacrificed in military service during a mission.”

”Youbao also went to that world, but she’s different from your dad and me; she went there entirely, body and soul. She’s already married with children, her husband loves her dearly, and her son adores her. She’s living very well and happily now.”

”I’m telling you this firstly to reassure you that your precious sister is okay, and secondly, to stop you from searching for her here. You won’t find her in this world.”

”Also, your second aunt died here, right? But her soul traveled to that world as well. She was the one who told me, your dad, and Youbao about our coma in Tianyun and Youbao’s disappearance, and how you couldn’t lead a good life because you were busy seeking treatments for us and searching for her.”

”Knowing that you weren’t living well made us truly sad, and Youbao cried countless times because of it.”

”Now your dad and I are back, and being able to return to ease your minds, it doesn’t matter if we have to die again later. There’s nothing left to worry about.”

Upon hearing this, Su Yi Jing and the others were visibly upset and began to speak up: ”Mom, why even mention life or death? You and dad just woke up, and you will surely live long, like the heavens!”

An Jing smiled with relief, ”As long as you’re not tired of us, your dad and I naturally want to live as long as we can.”

There’s nothing good about dying; it’s better to live happily together.

Su Yi Jing and the others immediately said, ”Mom, you always say things that upset us. We’d never grow tired of our parents!”

Seeing Su Yi Jing and the others more upset, An Jing quickly smiled and reassured them, ”Okay, okay, it’s my fault for saying the wrong things. I won’t say such nonsense anymore. Don’t be angry; I just woke up, can’t handle so many of you being upset.”

It was only after this that Su Yi Jing and the others calmed down and asked, ”Dad, mom, since you’ve just woken up, is there anywhere that feels uncomfortable in your body?”

An Jing moved slightly, ”Just a bit stiff, probably from lying down for three years. No other discomforts.”

Su Changyi also noted that his body felt stiff, like it hadn’t moved for a long time, but had no other discomforts.

Yet, all their attention turned towards Su Yi Xing.
