Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2404: Chapter 2405: I’m Afraid You’ll Run Away!

An Baobei found it even more amusing: ”Agreeing to the proposal and rushing to get a marriage certificate and hold a wedding aren’t the same thing, right? I think we shouldn’t be in such a hurry; it feels like you’re really too anxious.”

Ning Zihan was a bit upset, feeling overeager, and his tone carried a hint of displeasure: ”Aren’t you even a little anxious?”

With his emotions so obvious, it was impossible for An Baobei not to notice, which made her find it even funnier: ”What’s there to be anxious about? You’re not going anywhere.”

”I’m afraid you’ll run away!”

An Baobei’s heart was instantly filled with sweetness.

Ning Zihan continued: ”It’s taken us so much to be together, and it wasn’t easy for you to agree to my proposal. I think we should get the certificate soon, have the wedding soon, and live together soon.”

”Living together is your real goal, isn’t it?”

”Isn’t it normal to live together if we’re married?” Ning Zihan didn’t want to admit it. ”Not living together would be abnormal.”

An Baobei still thought it was too soon. She had just agreed to the proposal; she’d like a few days at least. Why did they have to get the certificate tomorrow? It felt like there was no rush like this before.

”Can we wait a few days?” An Baobei asked in a negotiating tone.

Ning Zihan immediately put on a sullen face: ”Why wait a few days? What’s the difference between waiting a few days and getting it tomorrow? It’s just a few days anyway.”

”You said it’s just a few days, so let’s wait, I feel like we’re rushing into it too hastily.”

”There’s nothing hasty about it. It’s just getting a certificate, not immediately having a wedding, nothing hasty about it.”

”Haha, you really seem so anxious.” An Baobei couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

”Just see who I’m trying to tie down.”

”Isn’t it me?”

”You know it and you’re still stringing me along?”

”I’m not stringing you along; it just feels too rushed. Look, I only agreed to your proposal tonight, and you want me to get the certificate first thing tomorrow morning? I figure we need at least a few days.”

”Your thinking is wrong.” Ning Zihan scolded without any courtesy.

”Hahaha...” An Baobei couldn’t control her laughter, ”You’re saying all of this just to get me to go get the certificate with you tomorrow morning.”

”I’ve said all this, isn’t it just to have you go with me to get the certificate tomorrow morning?” Ning Zihan said in frustration. ”You know I’ve never been a patient person, and now I’m being so patient, don’t you consider going to get the certificate with me tomorrow morning?”

”Haha, you...” An Baobei was thoroughly amused.

After a while, she managed to stop laughing and asked seriously: ”Ning Zihan, do you feel insecure?”

Ning Zihan froze and then awkwardly pursed his lips: ”I already said I’m afraid you’ll run away, I want to hold on to you, which is why I’m so eager to get the certificate and settle our matters. Of course I feel insecure.”

An Baobei thought of something and suddenly felt a pang of heartache.

She’s only been in love twice, but both times it was with the same person, Ning Zihan. She really didn’t want anything else now, just wanted to be with Ning Zihan properly.

Seeing Ning Zihan’s insecure appearance, wanting to get the certificate to settle things in place...

And since she had already agreed to Ning Zihan’s proposal, getting the marriage certificate eventually...

Thinking this way, An Baobei stopped saying anything about being in a hurry, and smiled, nodding: ”Since you want it so much, okay then, let’s go get the certificate tomorrow.”

Ning Zihan was immediately overjoyed.
