Chapter 1995: Chapter 1996: Better Let Him Keep an Eye on Her from Now On

Huo Qingyi was finally able to get up and close the door.

Walking back to the bed, she took off her outer clothes and shoes, then lay down beside Su Yixing. As soon as she lay down, she was embraced by Su Yixing.

Although it felt strange and unfamiliar at first, because she had been so used to it for so many years, Huo Qingyi quickly adapted to Su Yixing’s embrace.

Unconsciously, her eyelids grew heavy and she slowly closed them.

Having been away from Su Yixing for more than three months, every night she would toss and turn until dawn before she could fall asleep. And her appetite wasn’t great in those three months either, probably why she had lost weight.

Huo Qingyi fell asleep, but Su Yixing didn’t. He just closed his eyes and pretended to sleep.

Feeling Huo Qingyi’s even breathing, knowing she was asleep, Su Yixing then opened his eyes, and in the moonlight, he looked at the person in his arms.

She was truly thinner.

After finally gaining some weight, she was thin again...

These days, he had been rushing on the road every day just to see her sooner. Actually, he didn’t sleep much, and even if he did, since he was on the road, his sleep was not restful. Now that he had seen his beloved, his heart was at ease, but the fatigue from rushing all caught up with him, and he slept for quite a long time.

But now that he was awake, even though his body was still a bit tired, he couldn’t fall asleep again. He just wanted to hold her.

Though holding her still felt as wonderful as before, he could clearly notice that she had lost weight, not only in her face but her body had become slender too.

It seems that without anyone reminding her to eat well, she really didn’t. It looks like he has to supervise her in the future.

Thinking this, Su Yixing sighed softly in his heart, feeling both helpless and distressed.

Huo Qingyi slept directly until the light of dawn. When she opened her eyes and saw the break of day, she got startled and quickly got up. She hadn’t served the Young Master his meal yet!

Originally, she intended to sleep for just a while but didn’t expect to sleep for so long.

As Huo Qingyi sat up to dress, she realized that Su Yixing was no longer in her room.

She quickly washed and went to wait outside the door of the next room.

Just as she stood at the door of the next room, she heard Su Yixing’s voice from inside: ”I want dumplings. Two bowls.”

”Yes, I’ll make them right away.” Even though the inn had a cook, Huo Qingyi didn’t think of asking the cook; she went to prepare it herself.

This time, Su Yixing didn’t stop Huo Qingyi either.

When Huo Qingyi brought two bowls of dumplings over, Su Yixing saw there was only one pair of chopsticks on the tray and smiled, ”So, do you want to share a pair of chopsticks with me?”

”Ah?” Huo Qingyi didn’t react for a moment.

Su Yixing didn’t explain but just said: ”Go get another pair of chopsticks.”

”Yes.” Huo Qingyi put the tray down and quickly turned to get another pair of chopsticks.

”Young Master.” Huo Qingyi handed the chopsticks in her hand to Su Yixing.

Su Yixing said lightly, ”Didn’t you see that I already have chopsticks? Sit.” He pointed to the seat beside him.

Huo Qingyi obediently sat down.

Su Yixing took a bowl of dumplings from the tray and placed it in front of Huo Qingyi, ”Eat, I told you to eat more before, gain some weight so it’s comfortable for me to hold you, but you’ve thinned down again. Last night, it was prickly to hold you, quickly gain some weight.”

”...Yes, Young Master.” Huo Qingyi obediently ate the dumplings.

Only then did Su Yixing take another bowl of dumplings from the tray and start eating himself.
