Chapter 1353: Chapter 1354: The Face Was Swollen

Liu Buli wasn’t in a hurry; he was just a little worried. If Liu Feifei dragged the team down and caused the female soldiers to lose, how would Liu Feifei handle being ostracized by the female soldiers afterward?

Just as everyone assumed the female soldiers were bound to lose, Liu Feifei appeared in their line of sight, and she was running.

An Jing’s eyes lit up instantly, and she promptly set down her teacup and stood up.

Du Aya caught sight of Liu Feifei and immediately shouted loudly toward her, ”Feifei, hurry up! The time is almost up, we’re only waiting on you! As long as you make it, we’ll win!”

The other female soldiers, seeing Liu Feifei, all had shining eyes and quickly got up. They stood at the finish line, shouting with Du Aya, urging Liu Feifei to give it her all and move faster.

Even Meng Zhuqing had never seen his usually aloof and composed wife, Tobanya, shout so loudly and energetically. He froze for a moment in surprise. Then, he chuckled. His wife could be like this? How adorable.

Liu Feifei was truly running; she was making her final sprint.

Previously, during training, she had been doing fifty-kilometer marches, but this time, it was sixty kilometers. Earlier, she dared not walk too fast, fearing that expending too much energy would leave her unable to continue later. Now, with the finish line right in front of her and time running out, naturally, she was giving it everything she had for the final push.

The other two male soldiers who had yet to reach the finish line were truly out of strength. Every step felt like carrying a thousand pounds. Seeing Liu Feifei about to overtake them, Qi Tengfei couldn’t hold back and shouted at the two, ”Why aren’t you moving faster!”

But just as Qi Tengfei finished shouting, Liu Feifei overtook the two male soldiers.

The two male soldiers didn’t want Liu Feifei to surpass them, but unfortunately, their legs had no strength left. Walking itself was difficult, let alone running.

Liu Feifei kept her head down, carrying those thirty pounds of gear. She didn’t care whether she had overtaken the two male soldiers or not; she simply ran toward the finish line with her fastest speed.

As soon as she crossed the finish line, she knew she had made it. Her legs immediately gave out, and she fell to the ground. Du Aya and the others quickly supported her, showering her with praise: ”Feifei, well done! We knew you could do it!”

Du Aya and the others helped Liu Feifei to a seat nearby. Although her legs were weak from the sprint, Liu Feifei wasn’t nearly as exhausted as before. It was a stark contrast to the Liu Feifei who, when she first joined the military camp, could barely crawl her way through ten laps around the training ground.

At this moment, Liu Buli truly realized that the Liu Feifei before his eyes was no longer the same Liu Feifei from before. At the very least, her physical endurance had improved significantly.

”Instructors, deputy instructor, I did it. I didn’t drag us down.” Liu Feifei, still catching her breath, smiled as she said this to An Jing and Ye Zhi.

An Jing nodded in acknowledgment, smiling as she praised, ”You were amazing today.”

At this moment, the incense stick representing the time limit burned completely out. And those two male soldiers still hadn’t crossed the finish line.

In other words, out of the ten male soldiers, two failed to complete the sixty-kilometer weighted march.

Only the results of the eight male soldiers who made it could be counted.

Among these eight male soldiers, aside from Qi Gaoda and Qi Weiwu, whose performance was slightly better, the results of the others weren’t very impressive.

But even if Liu Feifei hadn’t made it, the nine female soldiers’ overall performance was enough to crush the eight male soldiers.

The people from Wolf Camp, Tiger Camp, and Leopard Camp present at the scene all felt like they had lost face entirely. Earlier, they had boasted so boldly, claiming they wouldn’t let the female soldiers lose too miserably.

The more arrogant they had been, the harder their faces were now slapped. Losing to the female soldiers—this outcome hit them right where it hurt.
