Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 540: Chapter 367: Scheme A New Prophecy

After the world spun around, he landed beside his own treehouse.

”Hm...?” Keke awoke from her slumber, raised her little head, looked around, and found herself back at the doorstep of her home.

Xu Xin returned to the treehouse.

Silver King and Mimi hadn’t been taken out by him; they were still lazily lying by the fireplace. The egg that could move on its own was wobbling like a roly-poly toy by the fireplace, and upon seeing Xu Xin return, it immediately rolled over to him.

”Hmm!” Keke saw the giant egg and immediately lunged at it.

A panda cub and an egg once again began a chasing game inside the treehouse.

Just as he was about to sit on the sofa to rest for a while, his watch suddenly vibrated.

When he raised his hand to check, it was a message from Lou Fei’Er.

”You’ve just returned, right? I have something to tell you regarding District 187. Can I come over now?”

Hmm?

Isn’t her watch connected to District 187?

If she could contact him, it meant she was now in her own parasitic treehouse.

Xu Xin walked to the window to take a look, and sure enough, Lou Fei’Er was at the window looking this way.

...Wasn’t she supposed to be intercepting others?

”Come over.” Xu Xin replied.

Lou Fei’Er immediately came up to the treehouse, then was pulled in by him.

”I told you to go and intercept those survivors, didn’t I?” Xu Xin sat on the sofa, relaxed his body a little, and looked at her. ”So why are you still inside the treehouse?”

Lou Fei’Er was staring dazedly at the giant egg rolling around the living room, only snapping out of it upon hearing Xu Xin’s words.

”I have gone once.” Lou Fei’Er stood opposite Xu Xin and explained. ”I checked on those stone statues after dawn.”

”Oh? What’s the situation with those stone statues now?” Xu Xin slightly squinted his eyes. ”Have a seat.”

”They look just the same, but they’re... posing for an attack!”

Lou Fei’Er mimicked an attack stance with her hands shaped like claws. She then found a chair to sit down: ”However, they don’t seem to move at all. Even those two pterosaur stone statues remain stationary. It appears that as long as we don’t step inside, they won’t pay any attention to us.”

Xu Xin nodded slightly.

That’s the best scenario.

Of course, we definitely can’t just leave these stone statues be forever.

Once today’s events are over, we’ll have to find a way to deal with them.

After all, these stone statues are only one kilometer away from his treehouse, presenting a significant potential threat.

”So, you came back?” Xu Xin looked at Lou Fei’Er with crossed arms, asking.

This fellow really knows how to slack off.

”Well... they weren’t moving, and there’s no danger for now...” Lou Fei’Er saw Xu Xin’s intent to ask seriously and quickly explained, ”I wasn’t slacking. I came back to prepare for District 187 matters! Also, I asked Wenxi to announce in the district channel that people shouldn’t get close to the giant crater in the Transmission Array where the first beam appeared, advising them to avoid those stone statues and directly find a nearby treehouse.”

”There shouldn’t be any issues...” Xu Xin slightly frowned, thinking those statues were extremely eerie, and even explorers like them lacked the confidence to handle them, not to mention other survivors.

”You’re underestimating them! My dear master.” Lou Fei’Er immediately defended her choice. ”Those daring to come alone aren’t weak; they’ve survived so far like other survivors, and finding a treehouse should be relatively easy for them.”

This is true.

They’ve traveled over a hundred kilometers; it’s unlikely they would encounter problems in the final kilometer.

As long as they heed the advice, avoid trying the Transmission Array recklessly, it will be fine.

As for those who don’t listen, if they die, they die, just as long as they don’t implicate others.

”Has anyone arrived during this period?” Xu Xin inquired.

People started to dismantle their treehouses to head this way just last night.

Lou Fei’Er shook her head: ”No, nobody has come over yet. This morning’s batch started moving after close to nine o’clock, and it’s been only over two hours; it’s impossible for them to be here so soon. As for last night’s ones... none have arrived from our side, I’m not sure about the other side.”

Xu Xin nodded and then asked: ”Weren’t you going to tell me about District 187 matters? You two, stop causing trouble in the living room, go to the large room downstairs!”

This sentence was directed at Keke and the giant egg.

”Rumble rumble...” The giant egg clearly understood Xu Xin’s words and rolled down the stairs; Keke also whimpered as she chased after it.

Even Silver King couldn’t resist and joined them in the chase to the spacious second-floor room.

Wolves, naturally energetic creatures.

Meanwhile, Mimi just glanced at them and continued to lie by the fireplace, enjoying the peace.

Lou Fei’Er watched the group as they trotted down and only continued speaking afterward.

When mentioning District 187, her expression immediately changed to one of smugness: ”Hehe, how can my moves not have any effect? Wasn’t I pulled into the big shot group of District 187 by Zhang Daoguang before...”

She began explaining her plan.

Now, Lou Fei’Er’s influence in District 187 nearly equaled Zhang Daoguang’s.

As for why she hasn’t surpassed Zhang Daoguang to become the leader, it’s because Zhang Daoguang had always ranked first in the district, and the people surviving now were also those he saved once during the defense battle.
