Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 517: Chapter 355: Transmission Array Connected, Visions Rise Again!

If they can come over, they would definitely be a strong support!

”We’ll find a way, you all... hang tight,” Xu Xin said while pondering.

”Well, alright, we won’t go back yet, we’ll just wait here in this snowy mountain... I mean, giant pit now, waiting for your news, try to be quick,” Wen Guixin’s voice sounded a bit disappointed; she thought she would soon meet the people on this side.

”Brother Xin, no rush, we have plenty of time; other areas don’t even have the qualifications to activate a single array, they can’t catch up with us,” this was Zhao Xiaochuan’s voice.

”Come on everyone, no rush, we’re ready anytime to teleport and start the fight! Let those statues taste my continuous regular punches after mastering the power with the Strength Belt!” This was Wang Lei’s voice.

”Okay, you two are just trying to undermine me, right! I just said for them to hurry up, and you both say no rush!”

”Whoa, don’t come over here, I’m scared! Sister Gui Xin, no!” Wang Lei’s voice was somewhat exaggerated.

Over here, the few people slightly exhausted from battle laughed.

Over there, they really don’t have much to worry about; they’re genuinely cheerful.

After ending the call, the group fell silent for a while.

”I can think of two methods,” Xu Xin glanced at the statues in the giant pit and spoke first.

He used his hand to gesture a one.

”The first method is to fight, but if it’s a direct confrontation, we’re probably not a match for those statues down below. Therefore, we need to find a way to lure the statues near my treehouse, then attack using the treehouse’s heavy crossbows and various defensive facilities.”

Ji Chaoyang thought for a moment and analyzed, ”If this can be successfully implemented, it’s indeed a good method. However, looking at their worship-like posture, I feel there’s a high possibility they won’t move far from the giant pit, but would guard around the pit, protecting the purple-black light pillar.”

Xu Xin nodded slowly, he had considered this as well.

Not to mention whether they have the ability to lead a group of mid-level mutant statues, or even two flying giants for a kilometer, just whether the opponents will follow is a big question.

”So, there’s a second method,” Xu Xin extended two fingers.

”The second method is... let one person sneak in, enter the light pillar without being detected, and swiftly connect two arrays, letting the people on the other side come over, and we all handle these statues together.”

”Ah, this...” Li Wenxi’s hand stroking Keke’s soft belly paused, ”Can we really sneak in? Isn’t it too risky? If discovered, won’t we be surrounded directly, and the opponent is entirely of mid-level strength or above.”

”It’s possible to sneak in,” Xu Xin nodded, taking out an item from his backpack, ”With this, it can be done.”

[Cloak of the Stealthy], wearing it makes the survivor be ignored like a roadside stone by enemy units, as long as they remain still!

Honestly, Zhao Xiaochuan should be the one to do the sneaking.

He, even walking slowly, wouldn’t be detected by surrounding enemy units and could easily infiltrate.

Unfortunately, he’s on the other side, unable to help here.

The group discussed for a while and finally decided to take the second measure.

After all, the first measure had a really low success rate and required too much thought; one wrong move, everyone would be in danger.

Of course, the second method also requires someone to put themselves at risk.

”I’ll do it!” Lou Fei’Er volunteered, ”I’m fast, and I have one revival chance; even if I fail, I’m confident I can escape.”

Xu Xin nodded slightly.

Lou Fei’Er is indeed a fitting choice.

Besides the advantages she mentioned earlier, she has one more advantage.

As long as she doesn’t initiate attacks, she won’t provoke hostility from mutant creatures.

And this is something mid-level mutants like Mimi and Silver King can’t do.

Though it’s unknown what relationship these mutant statues have with mutant creatures, it’s worth a try.

What if she doesn’t get targeted?

Finally, the group chose Lou Fei’Er.

Lou Fei’Er put on the Cloak of the Stealthy, stowed the pills handed by Qi Xuefei, took a deep breath, and nodded at the people behind her before sliding down the giant pit wall.

Both she and those above intently watched the statues’ movements.

Luckily, after entering the pit, she didn’t attract the statues’ attention for now.

She first tentatively walked two steps forward, and seeing no reaction from the statues, she promptly quickened her pace.

”Could she really avoid triggering the statues’ attack?” Xu Xin’s eyes lit up slightly.

”So risky...” Li Wenxi was a bit worried, gripping the already loaded crossbow, ready to react swiftly if anything happened.

”Looks like there might not be any danger?” Qi Xuefei sighed slightly with relief.

”Can’t be assured yet; she’s still in the outer perimeter,” Ji Chaoyang said gravely.

The ground was full of bombing traces, with scattered stone powder everywhere.

Lou Fei’Er moved forward step by step among it; soon, she was near the circle of mid-level mutant statues.
