Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 523: Chapter 359: Establishing Coordinates on the Other Side, Truly Connecting!

At the edge of the giant pit, the remaining few people could no longer discern Zhao Xiaochuan’s location because he had already activated his ability and jumped into the pit.

”What the... I was watching him the whole time, and then, in the blink of an eye, he’s... gone?” Li Wenxi said, a bit frustrated.

”His ability is even more exaggerated than invisibility,” Wang Lei remarked. ”With invisibility, you might still make a noise that could alert others. His ability directly erases his presence, and even his sounds go unnoticed.”

”I really want a power like that too,” Lou Fei’er said enviously.

If she had such an ability, combined with her current strength, taking the head of the enemy general from amidst tens of thousands of troops would be as easy as lifting a finger.

”Isn’t that cloak just a weakened version of his ability? Anyway, we can’t see him now, so let’s quickly head to Xu Xin’s treehouse. I can hardly wait!” Wen Guixin said, eager to go.

...

By now, Zhao Xiaochuan was already moving among the group of statues.

This time, he dared not do what he had done before, as his main task now was to teleport with Xu Xin to the other side.

Ever since that pterosaur let out a cry, awakening all the mutant statues, they hadn’t prostrated themselves in a worshipful posture again but instead kept pacing and wandering back and forth through the giant pit.

They were like a group of patrolling guards.

It seemed that now, in this giant pit, anyone other than him entering would be attacked.

However, Zhao Xiaochuan wasn’t panicked at all; his ability had never failed him so far.

Panic wouldn’t help; he could only walk slowly like this. Moving too fast would make him noticeable.

Thus, avoiding these statues patrolling around the purple-black light pillar in the middle, he gradually approached the light pillar.

...

The gentle glow of the wristband space was indeed quite comforting, and the temperature was very suitable.

Xu Xin walked over to the reclining Silver King, sat down beside it, and leaned against it, relaxing his body.

Now it was just a matter of waiting for Zhao Xiaochuan to reach the location and release him.

”It’s nice here, isn’t it?” Xu Xin said, patting the big head of the Silver King.

”Awooo!” Silver King responded with a call.

Mimi also sauntered over, lying down beside Xu Xin, with Afu resting on its body.

The treasure chest monster was quietly still at the side.

Leaning against Silver King, Xu Xin began checking the information on his watch.

”Oh, there’s another person on the leaderboard?” Xu Xin raised an eyebrow.

The new person was a survivor from District 1, a guy named Cheng Jun’an, now ranked tenth.

Now District 1 had three people who reached the peak!

If these three people climbed the same peak, then District 1 should already be able to activate a Transmission Array.

Xu Xin immediately opened the regional channel.

”Look, District 1, someone else succeeded! There are already ten people on the list!”

”Wow, finally someone succeeded again! We’re one step closer to the end of winter!”

”Cheng Jun’an is a member of the major player group in District 1, the one that doesn’t get along well with the major player group of Shi Wanyun.”

”Alright, the major player group in District 1 made a comeback, credibility +1. Now the pressure is on Shi Wanyun’s side; let’s see what she does next.”

”Why is it that so far no other region has activated the Snow Mountain Transmission Array?”

”How on earth do you activate the array? Isn’t there some impressive person to explain it, so we can have some expectations? Why is it that the number of people climbing the snow mountain is increasing, but the array is only activated in two places in District 188?”

”Because the major players in District 188 are more awesome, we still need to rely on District 188.”

”Just kidding, our District 1 is about to activate it soon! Mark my words!”

Cheng Jun’an, a member of the major player group in District 1, whereas Shi Wanyun is a lone wolf.

Therefore, it is very likely that these two are not climbing the same snow mountain, so even though District 1 now has three people who have reached the peak, there’s a good chance they won’t be able to activate a Transmission Array.

As for those complaining in the world channel about not being informed about how to activate the array...

It’s not just Xu Xin and company; now, none of the other people on the leaderboard have revealed the condition that three people are needed to activate it.

Currently, there are ten people on the list, six of whom are from District 188.

From District 188 are Xu Xin, Ji Chaoyang, Wen Guixin, Zhao Xiaochuan, Wang Lei.

From District 187, Lou Fei’er.

From District 1, Shi Wanyun, Dong Erbao, Cheng Jun’an.

And from District 23, Fang Tianyang.

In total, only four regions have people who have reached the peak, with Lou Fei’er still being on their side.

So in reality, aside from them, only Shi Wanyun, Dong Erbao, Fang Tianyang, and the newly listed Cheng Jun’an know the secret of the snow mountain’s peak, that three must reach the top to activate one of the Transmission Arrays.

But as confirmed by District 1, Shi Wanyun is a lone wolf, and Dong Erbao was someone she helped climb, so the two of them haven’t provided any information about the peak to others in District 1.

Fang Tianyang is likely the same, only sharing this info with the major players of their region rather than with everyone.

After all, sharing it with them is of no use; even if told, they wouldn’t climb and would instead spread the info on the world channel, providing key information to other regions yet to climb.
