Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 508: Chapter 351: Return to the Giant Pit, Bombardment of the Statue Cluster!

He began recounting this experience, describing everything, including the dazzling purple light at the peak and the crisis posed by the stone statues.

”Wow... that was so dangerous...” Li Wenxi leaned against Xu Xin and asked Lou Fei’Er softly after hearing about the purple light, ”Fei’Er, did you really go into burst mode back then?”

”Yes!” Lou Fei’Er replied softly, ”It was too unbearable, a splitting headache as if my head were going to explode the next second! If not for being absorbed into the bracelet, I felt like I was really going to die...”

”Didn’t you use the pills I gave you?” Qi Xuefei also leaned in and asked softly.

”I did, Sister Xuefei.” Lou Fei’Er made a bitter face, still faintly feeling the pain from back then, ”I took several of them, but they didn’t work.”

Soon, Xu Xin recounted and Ji Chaoyang supplemented, and they finished telling everything they’d been through on the snowy mountain.

The other side was also silent, not expecting Xu Xin and his team to face such a crisis.

”...There weren’t any stone statues on our side, and you said that the stone statues are unique to your side. Does this mean we only need to withstand the exploitation of the Spiritual Power? Is that correct?” Wen Guixin asked.

”That should be correct.” Xu Xin nodded.

Random amplification was a reward from the previous rainy season when the tornado was destroyed during the daytime. Even if Wen Guixin’s team had high decoration, they wouldn’t have this reward.

However, they had other ways to enhance their Spiritual Power.

”Using blue oranges might also help resist some of those purple-black glowing spiritual attacks, right?” Ji Chaoyang suggested thoughtfully.

”It should work.” Xu Xin nodded.

Although blue oranges don’t increase the Spiritual Power limit like amplification does, they can maintain Spiritual Power at its peak level, which is useful without worrying about it depleting too quickly.

”Then there’s no problem. I still have a lot of blue oranges!” Zhao Xiaochuan’s voice came through, sounding significantly relieved.

”You should also resolve the stone statue issue on your side as soon as possible. Otherwise, even if we activate the Transmission Array, both sides won’t truly connect.” Wen Guixin reminded.

”Don’t worry, we understand.” Ji Chaoyang replied.

”Then we’ll set off now, and soon you’ll see another beam of light shooting into the sky!” Wen Guixin said confidently, then ended the call.

Xu Xin and Ji Chaoyang immediately stood up.

Now was not the time to rest.

Since the three on the other side were already heading to activate the Transmission Array, they must find a way to deal with the stone statues in the giant pit.

It always felt like this matter couldn’t be delayed until daytime; their state in the daylight...

This night, they must eliminate them completely!

”Are you going to the Transmission Array again?” Li Wenxi stood up too, ”Are you going to deal with those stone statues? Take us with you, we can help attack around the pit.”*

She had only heard from Xu Xin about what the stone statues looked like, including the pterodactyl statues, and was still very curious as she hadn’t seen them with her own eyes.

Qi Xuefei also stood up: ”Let’s go together. For a group enemy like the stone statue crowd, one more person means more strength.”

”This...” Xu Xin seemed hesitant.

If it were just the outer circles of stone statues, there wouldn’t be an issue, but those two pterodactyl statues...

”Bring them along. Explosive bolts should be effective against the stone statues,” Ji Chaoyang recommended, adding, ”Even if there’s danger, don’t you have the bracelet? You can directly absorb them into it if needed.”

That was true.

With the bracelet, there’s no fear of major issues arising.

”Alright, let’s all go together then.” He decided to bring everyone along.

”Great!” Li Wenxi cheered.

Meanwhile, Xu Xin made a voice call to Ma Hongwei.

Several seconds later, the call connected.

”Brother Xin, I’m researching a new crossbow...” Ma Hongwei’s voice was a bit helpless, his progress interrupted by Xu Xin’s call.

This guy hadn’t contacted him all day, and if it weren’t for the green dot on the map showing his presence at the treehouse, Xu Xin might have thought he ran away.

But being cooped up in the treehouse researching the crossbow, who knows what he’ll come up with this time.

He originally wanted to bring him along to familiarize him with the surroundings, but given his research, he decided against it.

”...Then continue your research. If something unusual happens, remember to contact us.”

”Don’t worry, Brother Xin, I’m very sensitive to the surrounding mutant creatures, I’ll definitely notify you if anything happens.”

After hanging up, Xu Xin put several beasts into the bracelet, while Keke let out a ”Yee” sound and climbed onto his shoulder.

He wanted to wrap a snow fox scarf around Keke, but it pushed it away with its little paw, declining it.

”Yee Yee!” It waved its tiny paw twice, making Xu Xin understand it no longer needed the scarf.

The outside temperature had risen by ten degrees. Although it was still relatively low, it was within its tolerable range now.

Keke insisted on coming with him since it could always find things others couldn’t.

Everyone left the treehouse together and slid towards the previous peak’s location, the current giant pit.
