Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 299: Chapter 256: Transmitting Hand Cards - Complex Transmission Function

The appearance of the exit is quite different from the whirlpool of the entrance.

The entrance was in front of one of the five pillars, basically like a door, while the exit was directly above the entire coordinate, suspended in mid-air just like the purple-black vortex in the tornado at that time.

Covering his mouth, Xu Xin struggled to hold back the urge to vomit.

This time, the teleportation took a few seconds less than in the salt mine, and the dizziness was much reduced, so he didn’t end up collapsing to the ground like last time.

However, it was still genuinely uncomfortable.

”It actually worked to teleport over!” Surprised, Lou Fei’Er’s voice suddenly came from behind Xu Xin.

”...Didn’t I tell you to go back to the treehouse?” Xu Xin slowly turned around, looking towards her.

It’s not that he didn’t want to turn quickly, but in his current condition, if he turned his head directly, the dizziness might make him lose control of his body and fall to the ground.

Ensuring the safety of the teleportation exit is crucial.

With his physical condition, he’s already dizzy and weak in the legs after teleporting, losing more than half of his combat strength, not to mention others.

Most people, after experiencing teleportation, would probably collapse to the ground like him and Ji Chaoyang did in the cavern, taking a long time to recover their footing.

This is quite serious. If someone were to ambush at the coordinate exit, they would be virtually indefensible.

It seems that this teleportation gate is not without its dangers.

Wonder if with more teleportations, once you get used to it, the sensation might lighten a bit. Like how fighter pilots feel nothing on a bungee jump or roller coaster.

Lou Fei’Er didn’t notice his abnormal physical condition, but rather kept looking around the coordinates: ”I was chatting with Afu by the window at the time when this thing downstairs suddenly emitted a purple light. Then a big whirlpool appeared, of course, I had to come down to take a look.”

Chatting with Afu? More like bothering Afu by yourself.

However...

”Did you witness the whole transformation? Tell me what happened.” Xu Xin rubbed his temple lightly.

”...You don’t look too good?” Lou Fei’Er looked at him, raising an eyebrow, ”Your face is very pale. I feel like I could beat you right now.”

”You can give it a try.” Xu Xin squinted at her, raising his left hand to show the wristband.

”...You always use that crappy thing to threaten me! One day I’ll smash it!” Lou Fei’Er gritted her teeth, glaring at him.

”Stop wasting time and answer my question!”

”Oh... not much, really. The five pillars suddenly lit up, then the purple-black energy from them gathered above the circular disk, forming a whirlpool. Then... you fell out of it.”

Lou Fei’Er’s description was quite clear, and Xu Xin imagined the scene.

Perhaps...

Suddenly, the purple-black vortex above the coordinates started to rotate faster. Under the gaze of Xu Xin and Lou Fei’Er, the whirlpool rapidly shrank, then split into five parts, returning to the five pillars around the disk.

Everything returned to normal, with the coordinates becoming a 3D map surrounded by five pillars emitting a purple-black glow.

This apparently shuts off the teleportation gate automatically after a period of non-use. A pretty decent feature.

However, how can one grant others the right to use the coordinates?

Xu Xin reached out again to touch the coordinates.

[Detected another coordinate 23 kilometers away at [Li Wenxi’s Treehouse], connect?]

It was still about connecting coordinates, without the ability to grant others the power to use the coordinates.

Could it be controlled via the treehouse?

Xu Xin immediately opened his watch, looking at the [Alchemy] tab, and sure enough, after placing the two coordinates, a new blueprint appeared, [Teleportation Bracelet].

[Teleportation Bracelet (Green): The holder can use the teleportation function like the coordinate creator, but can only teleport to existing destinations of the coordinates, without the ability to change their properties. The bracelet is bound personally and won’t work in others’ hands. Requires Iron Block (Green) *1]

To make a teleportation bracelet with just one green-grade iron block! The person with this bracelet can teleport using the coordinates!

It’s quite nice and needs to be engraved with the survivor’s name, preventing other usage and the risk of being seized by enemy units.

As the teleportation bracelet is a blueprint in the [Alchemy] tab, it can be made without an alchemy synthesis station. Xu Xin directly chose to make it on the spot.

[Please confirm the bracelet holder]

The prompt sounded, and Xu Xin immediately confirmed Li Wenxi as the holder of the bracelet.

Then, a lightweight iron token appeared in his hand, engraved with ornate characters spelling ”Li Wenxi”, even featuring a small portrait resembling her by eighty percent.

This bracelet is directly bound to the person.

”What is that?” Lou Fei’Er saw Xu Xin make something and went over directly to see.

Xu Xin put the bracelet away immediately.

”Why not let me see, I have already signed a contract with you, logically speaking, I’m your only confirmed partner now!” Lou Fei’Er was a bit dissatisfied, but she didn’t dare to snatch it, so she only stood there grumbling.

Xu Xin pursed his lips.
