From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

Chapter 43: Chapter 26: Hot Forum PK Thread

[I don’t think I’m being irresponsible here. Do you really think that I’d be responsible if I charged in alone, chopping down my opponents, slaying gods and Buddhas all the way? Use your brains and think about why Xilena First Affiliated School assigns such difficult tasks. I’d bet my entire fortune that once school starts, they’ll ask you to submit match videos. As for those damned points, they’re just icing on the cake if you have them. If you don’t, it doesn’t matter!]

[The school wants you to accumulate experience from the matches, not just some meaningless winning streaks, and certainly not the 5,000 team battle points! Seriously, isn’t every student who makes it to Xilena First Affiliated School from a certain background? If it were really about points, don’t you think the school would have considered you guys playing tricks in private and forming teams to farm points? Stop joking!]

[I admit that I’ve been slacking off in team battles, letting most of the pressure fall on other teammates... I can even say without hesitation that as long as it’s on the virtual network, it doesn’t matter to me if the teammates are wiped out. They’re accumulating match experience; what I care about is winning or losing! It’s only in desperate situations that people grow the most easily.]

@K3isnotTrash: This is our team’s understanding. Xiao Meng does whatever she wants, and we don’t interfere (≧▽≦)/

@XuNaIt’sReallyMe: Completely listening to Xiao Meng Meng’s whim and whip-instruction (#‵′), something others could only envy.

Xu Na’s comment made everyone exasperated, yet they had to admit she had a point. Not only could she fully unleash her power and squeeze out her potential, but she also didn’t have to worry about breaking a winning streak... It’s seriously something to envy, be jealous of, and hate!

Posting all the videos, Su Jiameng laid down the law, [To those who still doubt the team and solo matches, thinking there’s some dark secret, you guys can form teams and try grinding all you want. I’m available 24/7! But let’s be clear: I don’t hold back. If you get decapitated in the virtual net and experience mental weakness rendering you unable to log back in, I’m not responsible!]

It was only then that the viewers watching the videos realized that everyone who went up against Su Jiameng, except for the rookies in Z Zone and K3 in H District, mostly got directly killed. Especially the scene of Su Jiameng piloting a humanoid mecha and shooting an arrow through the cockpit... At first, it seemed like Su Jiameng did a fantastic job, but now it feels chilling to the bone...

[As for the salty poster next door, and those who petitioned jointly, I truly have no memory of who you guys are. It’s not that you appear too insignificant, but that you completely lack any presence! However, if you don’t find it troublesome, feel free to comment on your match videos. Maybe I’ll remember some traces...] Finishing this sentence, Su Jiameng was about to log out but suddenly recalled something, immediately resuming typing furiously.

[Oh, right! About the identity mentioned by the salty poster next door, I’d like to clarify: I am not a student of the Xilena First Affiliated School, even less so a student of this school’s higher fifth grade. I have no connections with the Alliance’s upper echelons, nor any ties with the Mecha Fighting Arena! If I had those qualifications, would I be so bored to compete with you hopeless rookies here!]

Thinking again, Su Jiameng angrily added another sentence, [Do you even know how frustrating it is not to find any opponents to crush or kill? Don’t know how predictably tedious a win or loss feels like? Even though I don’t have that ”thing,” it still sucks!]

Killing a rookie brings neither excitement nor profit; she’s only doing it out of sheer boredom!

After closing the forum, Su Jiameng angrily patted the two restless ”eggs” tied in front of her. She decided that if anyone really challenged her later, they’d truly experience what real obliteration feels like! Damn it, she’d been holding back during the matches, and these guys are still not satisfied, instead bounce around seeking presence!

Beep beep beep... The smart-brain buzzed. It was a message alert from the squad’s group.

”Xiao Meng, someone on the forum is saying they want to PK with you...” Xu Na said somewhat helplessly. Su Jiameng’s tone was still okay earlier, but at the end, she couldn’t control her temper and exploded. Now many people on the forum want to PK with her, some even threatening to kill her on the virtual net... Though Xu Na believes in Su Jiameng’s strength, there are too many wanting to PK with her; she can’t handle it.

”Really someone? (＾▽＾)?” Su Jiameng paused. Seems like there’s no shortage of people courting death these days. But as a broke person, she wouldn’t miss this golden opportunity to rob the rich and aid the poor, ”No worries, I’ll make a post...”

Xu Na felt a chill, a bad premonition coming over her. When she browsed the forum and saw the post Su Jiameng made, she was instantly Spartan, this teammate really loves to blow things up... Her ability to attract hate is just too strong (┬＿┬)

Post Title: [If You Want to Fight, I’ll Fight! Don’t Regret It After You’re Beaten!]

Opening the post, the content made Xu Na want to burst into tears. If she had known Su Jiameng would do this, she would never have told her someone was looking to PK her even if it killed her. Su Jiameng’s group taunting skills were too powerful, her hate value skyrocketing, and she wouldn’t have an easy time in the coming days.

[This post is specifically a PK post. If you’re looking to die by challenging me, leave a mark downstairs, so we can arrange the time and match! But let me say in advance, if you want to participate, you must first pay a registration fee of 20,000 Credit Points! My time is precious, and dedicating single-player match time to play kiddie games with you comes with a mental and time loss fee...]

Hmph ╭(╯^╰)╮, 20,000 Credit Points? Su Jiameng still thinks that’s cheap. If it were a real match, she wouldn’t be this arrogant. But in the virtual network... who is there for Su Jiameng to fear? Unless some shameless Alliance Mecha Warrior comes out to match with her, bullying a bunch of students would still not bring any pressure to her!

Also, before the match, you must sign this contract: virtual network death, we take no responsibility! If the broth next door and those students who co-signed petitions aren’t happy, we can offer you a friendly rate, a match for free. But let me remind you, the loser is destined to die! Dying twice on the virtual net in a short time, consider it yourselves...

It’s not about the bread, but the face. Facing such a blatantly challenging post, those who consider themselves geniuses naturally didn’t take it lightly. But initially, the ones marking down to PK Su Jiameng were just small fry, the real geniuses would not act hastily. Clearing levels has to be one by one, let alone taking down this troublesome little demon Su Jiameng ╮(╯_╰)╭

However, Su Jiameng will let these guys know, the seemingly soft and easy-to-push-down lolita in their minds is actually a whip-wielding, S-loving Queen BOSS... The difference between a lolita and a queen is quite substantial.

In her past life, Su Jiameng was a super high-level big BOSS, her hate-drawing skills rock solid. She sent two posts in one day, both becoming 24-hour trending topics, and the moderators who feared the world would be too peaceful even ”kindly” pinned these two hot posts!

What does pinning mean? It means every netizen entering the Qimingxing Forum will see these two posts, as red as a period stain, at first glance! The click count surged, and the notification sound on Su Jiameng’s forum backend never stopped! Finding the noise too annoying, she directly muted it. Then calmly watched the number of people marking down on the second post. As for those spam or cursing posters, she directly deleted their comments! A challenge post ought to have the manner of a challenge post, meaningless spam, what’s the point?

Her action undoubtedly angered more people, and Su Jiameng added another comment, stating that except for those marking for challenges, everyone else would have their comments deleted! No choice, who let her be the thread owner with full control over the thread? If they couldn’t build their own posts, they could still argue in the comments, right? Thus, those whose comments were higher up were unlucky, the notification sound never ceased with ”didi” sounds.

”Do you really want to challenge so many people?” K3 said, finding the situation increasingly lively and a bit of a headache. Although the crowd’s attention was drawn from ’consecutive victories’ to ’challenge’ by Su Jiameng, doing so would put a lot of pressure on her.

”The more, the better. 20,000 Credit Points per person, eh...” Su Jiameng happily calculated the comment layers and then made a summary form. ”I’m scheduling the matches, tch tch tch, I’m fond of these big spenders competing... If you want to start team battles, message me privately.”

”There’s no way you can handle so many people...” K3, seeing Su Jiameng diving into the money-making hole even at death’s door, was utterly helpless. ”Keep this up, and maybe students from Xilena Schools will come... Their skills can’t be compared to those from the affiliated schools... As the cradle of talent for the Alliance soldiers, their strength is very formidable...”

”One comes, one gets chopped; two come, a pair gets chopped! So what if it’s Xilena Schools? Being strong as a school doesn’t mean the students’ skills are high. Rest assured, even if they gang up together, they won’t be a problem.” Su Jiameng didn’t underestimate those school students; when it comes to talent, maybe there are many who exceed her. But the different growth environments determined the strength differences.

”Alright then... If you insist, I can’t do anything about it. As the team leader, is there anything you need my help with?” Seeing Su Jiameng’s determination, K3 couldn’t persuade her, so he shifted his focus to supporting her. ”Battle arena and Mecha, all are available.”

”Arena... there should be a rental arena at the Mecha Fighting Arena, right?” Su Jiameng’s brain went into gear and she came up with a great method to rake in Credit Points. ”Accepting challenges from 50 unfortunates a day, the audience can enter at a designated time, but each must pay 10 Credit Points... If they have the patience, they can watch the whole match... Is this idea good?”

K3: ”...” Xiao Meng really has fallen into the money hole, can’t you stop mentioning Credit Points in every other sentence, wocao!
