From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

Chapter 21: Chapter 13: Five Clowns

The original owner of the body and the shop assistant lady were neighbors on the same floor, and the one she looked down on the most was Su Jiameng. Because one day, after having a lunch costing forty or fifty credit points, she returned just in time to see Su Jiameng gingerly gnawing on a piece of yellowing bread.

She deliberately bumped into Su Jiameng, and after the bread fell to the ground, she ”unintentionally” stepped on it. What made her secretly laugh in the end, was that Su Jiameng actually picked up the bread that had been stepped on and ate it. Living such a miserable life, why not just die sooner!

The shop assistant lady was notoriously mean in that building. Today, she blamed an old lady next door, saying something like the old hag is clinging to life, the sooner she dies the sooner she’ll be reincarnated. Tomorrow, who knows which child she’ll curse as being too unlucky to grow up properly, and even if they do, they’ll just grow up to be trash for society.

Su Jiameng did not get the original owner’s memories, only occasionally fragments would appear, and she had no impression of this shop assistant lady. After paying the credit points and checking out, she swaggered home with two large bags of various foods. Only after Su Jiameng walked out of the store did the shop assistant lady sneer with a disgusted look, ”Isn’t she just selling herself? What’s with the attitude... covered in filthy diseases...”

Su Jiameng’s hearing was exceptionally good, and since she hadn’t walked very far, she naturally wouldn’t miss her muttering. A smile lifted her lips, and suddenly a sharp scream that could pierce the sky echoed from behind. This incident tells us, never mess with a petty woman, and especially don’t mess with a petty woman who has telekinesis, or you’ll never know how you’ll be dealt with. ”Such ignorance...”

After filling her stomach, Su Jiameng set to rearranging her extremely bare room, during which the two precious eggs thought she was playing a game. Wherever she went, they followed, not stopping even for a minute.

Beep beep beep—

She raised her hand and found it was a message from Xu Na. Strange, if it were a meeting, it should be K3 notifying, right? Why was it Xu Na? Though curious, she quickly finished her tasks, made sure the two eggs had enough nutrient liquid, lay down, and then logged onto the virtual network...

At this moment, Su Jiameng still didn’t know that K3 and the others had encountered something not too troublesome, but extremely disgusting. Just ten minutes earlier, they had gathered one after another on the bench where Su Jiameng logged off, waiting for her, when suddenly a guy they loathed came strolling over! And this guy was the little companion who had betrayed them before!

What was even more infuriating was that this guy not only came over by himself but also brought his current squad members. He gloated about having a squad score of over two thousand, and mocked them for having negative two hundred, saying their dream of reaching five thousand was just that, a dream.

”What’s there to be proud of, just having four gunners to carry a waste like you, and now you’re acting all high and mighty thinking you’re something special.” Xu Na stepped forward, her outfit similar to yesterday, but with a red tank top underneath that was quite eye-catching. ”Regarding your behavior, we’ll settle this slowly after school starts! For now, you’d better take these four wastes and get lost!”

Speaking of score boosting tactics, all four of them had the background to do so, they just didn’t bother. For a student who will one day join the Human Alliance military reserve, such opportunistic tactics were utterly disgusting.

At least others knew it was wrong and covered it up with various pretenses as a shame cloth. This person, however, shamelessly comes asking for a slap! Truly, when one is shameless to this degree, even the heavens can’t stop him, showcasing such a low level is truly an oddity.

”In the end, results are what matter most. As for the process... do you have proof of my opportunism? Anyway, when school starts, whether you can continue studying is still a question.” The traitor was of a similar age to Xu Na and the others, brown-haired and blue-eyed, with a slightly deep-set face. In today’s world where gene technology is prevalent, various eye and hair colors aren’t strange; rather, black hair and eyes have become the minority.

Xu Na wanted to say more but was pulled back by her elder brother. K3 stepped forward to speak, ”Just as you said, results are what matter most, and when school starts, it will be clear who will be kicked out! Sals, a word of advice, our team is low-key, but our low-key nature is not for you to take advantage of, don’t come looking for a beatdown!”

On one hand, he’s delaying their score progress, on the other, using gunners to boost his score, truly playing a calculating game. Their group usually stayed very low-key at school, not flaunting their background or wealth, but not showing off these things doesn’t mean they are easy to bully. This Sals really thinks he’s a genius, while others are all fools?
