Chapter 25: Chapter 15: A Small Crisis

But the thought didn’t last long before everyone started cursing, damn! Forced logout during the match, how much do you despise your opponent’s abilities? Even if the opponent is down to just one person, you can’t disrespect them like this!

Who knows, that one person might make an unexpected comeback! So, a bunch of sinister spectators kept their fiery eyes glued to the arena, hoping that the snake-like mecha would suddenly get a boost as if on steroids! Go for it! They kept silently cheering for the lucky snake-like mecha in their minds. But it was destined to let down the hopeful audience.

As a pilot of a power-type mecha, Xu Lei didn’t hold back, grabbing the tail of the giant snake boldly, lifting it high, swinging it to the left! And then to the right! The spectators in the stands were terrified, and even the opponents under their butts could feel a slight tremor, damn!

At this moment, the cameraman got mischievous again, giving a close-up of the poor mecha master inside the cockpit, arousing sympathy among the crowd. This kid has it tough, taking part in a mecha group battle and instead of thrashing opponents, getting wrecked in return.

Xu Lei threw the giant snake high into the sky, and K3 followed up with a perfect finishing strike. The Hotline Particle Cannon, red as a menstrual flow, hit the target, igniting a splendid firework and booming noises, along with the announcement of victory.

After the match, Xu Na nervously sent a message to Su Jiameng, asking what had happened, why she suddenly got forcibly logged out. In mecha combat competitions, forcibly logging out earns a yellow card warning, after two times, a direct disqualification! Not only that, even her AI would receive a warning, and if the situation was severe, it could get internet banned!

They waited two or three minutes before Su Jiameng replied, saying she’d encountered some trouble but had resolved it. She’s currently safe but a bit tired, likely needing three to four hours of sleep. Xu Na, relieved to hear she’s okay, gestured a ”it’s alright” sign to the equally anxious friends nearby, ”Just get some rest, talk when your body recovers.”

Su Jiameng received the message, exhaled a heavy sigh of relief, cuddled an egg, rubbing the shell with her face. No issue? How could there be no issue, when she had just claimed four lives? Previously receiving notification from her AI about some unfriendly individuals approaching, it urged caution. She went offline skeptically, only to find both her eggs had gotten out of the Nutrient Liquid, one pushing against the door, the other hopping on her belly...

Did something indeed happen? Su Jiameng had merely been through a match, and without using many advanced skills, her body wasn’t overly exhausted. She walked to the door, spreading her telekinesis, yet ”saw” four men outside, one of whom she recognized—he was the guy she had scolded earlier while buying a second-hand network signal booster.

Were they here for revenge? Looks very likely. Given her current body’s poor condition, if she rushed out, she’d be caught, and whatever happened next, she could imagine with a toe. Fortunately, she woke up in time, luckily still able to use telekinesis! Since these knife-wielding guys dared to barge in, dared to kick her door, they should be ready to die.

But something surprising occurred. She only used telekinesis to ruin the neural connections of three men, yet the same thing happened to the fourth. Feeling something odd in her embrace, she suddenly realized, that fourth one was the handiwork of the eggs!

”Mom’s troubles will be handled by herself, I’ve told you, you’re still too young to randomly use telekinesis...” She tapped each egg shell with her finger, not only did the two not fear, but they snuggled closer, rolling around in her hand.

Her forehead bore a few black lines; were these two little guys acting cute to her, while also claiming credit?

”I really can’t handle you guys... Mom’s going to clean up those four guys first. You two be good and go back to the Nutrient Liquid... be good.” One kiss per egg, they immediately behaved, with their shells turning slightly pink from white...

Handling the corpses wasn’t particularly difficult; Su Jiameng used telekinesis to make them look alive, having them walk out, arms around each other’s shoulders, opening the elevator... A series of actions executed without any issues. She repaired the damaged door, adding two more locks on the inside!
