Chapter 23: Chapter 14: Show Off Your Love, Die Fast

Su Jiameng looked at that super flashy introduction and suddenly felt that the match’s technical staff were quite the jokesters, even showing off their love? Is someone showing off their love so intensely it’s about to turn into a brawl? But seeing the rapidly increasing number of spectators below, she felt satisfied... being jovial and playful is quite charming...

As it turned out, the technician Su Jiameng had in mind sneezed several times in a row, rubbed his nose, and locked the screen onto the arena. He had been observing Su Jiameng since yesterday, both in solo matches and team battles, her driving skills and adaptability left him in awe, and during his breaks, he secretly watched free battle videos without spending a single credit point.

Watching the countdown on the scoreboard, Xu Na carefully noticed the Mecha Space Hub in Su Jiameng’s hands had changed, ”A new mecha?”

”Yeah, just saw it earlier, it suits my taste.” Su Jiameng likes to try different mechas and never confines herself to one type. If you consider it carefully, she could be considered a rare all-round Mecha Master.

”According to the intelligence, Sars Team has five members, three with snake-shaped mechas, and the other two are eagles. All are precisely modified high-quality mechas, with a comprehensive combat power much higher than ours.” Lucy, responsible for collecting and summarizing intel, slightly reviewed Sars Team’s past records and felt this match might encounter trouble.

”Snakes and eagles? That’s a unique combination...” Su Jiameng glanced at the Mecha Space Hub in her hand and felt lucky, ”No matter how powerful a snake is, it fears its seven-inch death spot. No matter how strong an eagle is, blind it, and it’s equally insignificant.”

Just as Lucy reported, the opponents indeed consisted of three snakes and two eagles. However, Lucy wasn’t happy about the accuracy of her intel. Instead, she said with a stern expression, [Be careful, there’s something off about the eagle-shaped mecha Sals is piloting, it seems to be modified again.]

[Yes, let me remind you, not only Sals’ mecha has been extensively modified, the other four mechas probably are too, though the modifications are internal...] Su Jiameng keenly noticed a familiar little thing, feeling a bit troubled.

Su Jiameng always took care of K3, and since they are students, the focus should definitely be on combat practice. If it were purely for victory, she could single-handedly defeat all opponents. This means the competition is primarily for K3 Team, not herself. However, it seems the opponents’ strength clearly exceeds K3’s capability, and she needs to plan thoroughly.

[They really are extravagant...] Xu Na murmured sarcastically, since leading a team to earn points requires strong equipment to ensure efficiency and winning chances, [But no matter how strong, they shouldn’t exceed too far...]

[You’ll see soon enough, when the time comes, remember to follow my command, or else we’ll be the ones getting burnt.] Su Jiameng felt that unveiling such secret weapons at this stage showed just how much effort the opponents were willing to invest to win.

[No problem!] Previous matches were all under Su Jiameng’s control, and they were used to it.

The referee started the countdown, and the spectators held high expectations for this match. And the contestants didn’t disappoint them; right at the start, Sars Team’s five members activated their secret weapons, stunning the entire audience.

[They vanished?] K3’s previously light-hearted voice turned serious.

[Enemies approaching at nine o’clock, three o’clock, and four o’clock directions, leave the sky guys to me! Xu Lei, head to seven o’clock and await further instructions...] Su Jiameng controlled with one hand, sending four coordinates to the others.

Then this scene unfolded before the audience: almost as soon as Sars Team members disappeared, K3 Team moved! Their actions seemed to see through the opponent’s invisibility! How could this be possible? One team utilizing such advanced auxiliary equipment for invisibility was already shocking, yet K3 Team seemed to counter with anti-invisibility equipment...

They collectively recalled the introduction, wondering if the two teams were flaunting their deep affection? Damn, blatantly conning credit points!

Su Jiameng took on two eagle-shaped opponents herself, while the three land-battle snake-shaped ones were left to K3, Xu Na, and Lucy. As for Xu Lei, he also had other duties. K3 naturally wasn’t equipped with any anti-invisibility gear, but such basic and crude invisibility was nothing in front of Su Jiameng, who possessed telekinesis.
