Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

”If you’re interested, every time you come, I’ll arrange for her to join us for dinner and a chat.”

Zhang Jingdong was about to agree but then suddenly realized, jokingly, ”Hmm? Have you already learned how to trick me?”

Ye Jinyan feigned innocence, ”How did I trick you?”

”Isn’t your trick obvious enough? When I finally visit Hang City, you deliberately suggest inviting her along. If I dared agree, wouldn’t you immediately turn against me?”

”Hey... you’re being a bit cynical. I’m genuinely trying to help you improve by chatting with her!”

”Besides... I noticed the soft look in your eyes when you looked at her. And my best friend is not only beautiful and graceful but also a university teacher. You guys as students surely like pretty teachers as much as pretty senior sisters, right?”

Zhang Jingdong sighed immediately, ”This is truly a big trap!”

Seeing Zhang Jingdong saw through her probing, Ye Jinyan stopped pretending, ”I’m sincere, alright? You see, I can’t handle you alone. If I can’t make you happy each time you come to Hang City, you’ll definitely bear resentment in the future.”

”Besides, you already have other women, and Le is not only my best friend, but you also saw how good she is. If you win her over too, it’ll be a win-win; you’ll enjoy the bliss of having both, and I won’t feel I owe you anymore.”

At this point, it was possible Zhang Jingdong was a bit slow to react, or maybe he was genuinely interested in Guan Le, and instinctively he asked, ”But would she agree?”

Ye Jinyan quipped playfully, ”Ha... the tail of the big wolf finally shows itself! Are you still denying you’re interested in her?”

Zhang Jingdong was instantly dumbfounded!

Darn it, it really goes to show that you have to pay the price for living recklessly; play the hawk half your life, and eventually, it will peck your eyes!

He quickly recovered, ”I was just following your lead, Ye Jinyan. If you keep this up, I won’t dare to casually share my true feelings with you in the future!”

Ye Jinyan gave Zhang Jingdong a sidelong glance, then smiled as before, ”Well... okay.”

”Don’t worry. With how outstanding you are and my help, Le will definitely be into you!”

Zhang Jingdong, hearing this, quickly backtracked, ”Actually, you can’t force these things. Having you makes me very content, and everything else can be left to fate.”

As he spoke, he quietly wrapped his left arm around Ye Jinyan’s fragrant shoulders.

Ye Jinyan quickly glanced at the glass window on the door, then glared at Zhang Jingdong, ”This is a classroom; don’t mess around!”

Zhang Jingdong immediately regained the upper hand, chuckling mischievously, ”This is a classroom, but we’re students. Isn’t it normal for students to have a little romance in the classroom?”

Ye Jinyan noticed the heat in Zhang Jingdong’s eyes and quickly pushed his arm away, ”Are you crazy? No, you can’t think about anything!”

Seeing her so reactive, Zhang Jingdong knew he couldn’t rush things and crossed his arms behind his head.

But he said, ”Ye Jinyan, you have to understand one thing: the brave enjoy the world first!”

”Have you read any biographies of Einstein? That guy was a top-level university professor, yet he loved to lecture in the office with beautiful women.”

”And then there’s Shen Congwen, another top master of traditional Chinese studies, yet he pursued a female student at school and eventually married her.”

”Ultimately, it’s about self-indulgence. As long as no one finds out and it doesn’t affect others, it doesn’t matter where it happens.”

At this time, Zhang Jingdong saw a hint of confusion in Ye Jinyan’s eyes, thinking she might be swayed by him.

He continued, ”And don’t you think having a real lecture in an actual classroom feels immersive and engaging?”

”Besides... you’re wearing a dress today... it’s very convenient, and I promise no one will find out!”

At this moment, Ye Jinyan was like a naive girl being seduced by her mischievous boyfriend into going to a hotel.

She feared losing her reputation if discovered, yet she also feared her boyfriend’s anger.

Zhang Jingdong seized the moment, ”Yanyan, I’m begging you, just one class! I promise it’ll only be this once; I won’t put you at risk again!”

Ye Jinyan finally couldn’t resist.

She looked at Zhang Jingdong, both shy and annoyed, ”You’re so annoying! Being with you, you’re always challenging my bottom line!”

Zhang Jingdong knew she was already 80% persuaded, only needing to take the blame for the wrongdoing.

So he pulled her delicate hand, ”I’m not challenging your limits, but trying to show you all the beautiful experiences in this world.”

”Yanyan, trust me, if you try it, you won’t regret it! If you miss it, you might never know how truly wonderful it could be in your lifetime!”

Ye Jinyan bit her lip, vaguely making a decision, but after glancing around, she hesitated again, ”But how... what should we do?”

When Zhang Jingdong heard this, he knew she agreed and immediately took her hand to the aisle and then to the far corner.

At this time, Ye Jinyan was still a bit conflicted, so Zhang Jingdong just started teaching her ’Western Modern History’.

Originally, Zhang Jingdong thought the situation was special, so he planned to cover a few key points and move on to the post-discussion.

But during the lesson, he realized Ye Jinyan was very weak in this subject, so he had to improvise some basic teachings.

Soon, more than half an hour had passed.

Everything around them remained safe and sound.

But at this moment, Ye Jinyan’s phone suddenly rang!

She hurriedly pulled out her phone to hang up.

But then she realized the call was from Guan Le.

If she didn’t answer, Guan Le might overthink.

So she looked back at Zhang Jingdong, ”It’s Le.”
