Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

At this moment, the vast club suddenly quieted down quite a bit.

Xu Sicheng then approached Ye Yuting, nervously asking, ”Yuting, is he... is he also from the Ye family?”

Ye Yuting shook her head blankly, ”…No.”

Xu Sicheng got a bit anxious immediately, ”Then he’s... not your sister’s boyfriend, right?”

Ye Yuting raised her eyebrows slightly, ”It shouldn’t be. Yesterday when I called my sister, I hinted around, and she said she didn’t have a boyfriend. Besides, given her status, do you think she’d find a boyfriend in one day?”

Xu Sicheng breathed a slight sigh of relief, but when he turned his head and saw Zhang Jingdong and Ye Jinyan appearing so close, he was a bit doubtful once more, ”But looking at them... Has your sister ever been like this with a man before?”

Ye Yuting snapped back to reality and shook her head again, ”No.”

Xu Sicheng sighed somewhat helplessly, ”Then maybe they’re really together…”

Ye Yuting felt speechless, ”Hey, Xu Sicheng, are you alright? Is this still you? I almost don’t recognize you!”

”Where’s that confident streak of yours? You’re the proud young master of the Xu Family! Even if he really is my sister’s boyfriend, so what? As long as they’re not married, you definitely have a chance!”

”Besides, haven’t I promised to help you?”

”My sister dotes on me the most. As long as I help you deal with him, your chances of becoming my brother-in-law are definitely higher than his!”

Upon hearing this, Xu Sicheng’s eyes instantly regained their prior self-confidence, ”Yuting, hearing you say this puts my mind at ease. I will give it my all!”

Ye Yuting then blinked her pretty eyes, ”But earlier, we agreed I’d help you match up with my sister. Now with this guy, I’ve got an extra task, so... I’ll have to charge more!”

Although Xu Sicheng appeared a bit distressed, given the changed situation, he had no choice but to ask, ”How much more?”

Ye Yuting smirked mischievously, then slowly extended two fingers, ”Twenty million.”

”Twenty million! You…” Xu Sicheng was a bit agitated, ”Yuting, if you’d said ten million, I wouldn’t have hesitated at all, but twenty million, I…”

”What’s the matter, Young Master Xu? Can’t handle just twenty million?”

”You want to be my brother-in-law, yet before you even get anywhere with my sister, you won’t give me twenty million? If you succeed in the future, I’d get no benefits at all. In that case, forget it; I’ll just go talk to Lin Songtao.”

”I agreed to help you because I thought you were career-oriented and not involved in trivial matters, making you a good fit for my sister.”

”But now, you don’t even pass for generosity. Back then, Lin Songtao didn’t make a fuss, offering me ten million just to make an introduction, and promised five million if it worked out.”

”I’m already giving you a 40% discount, and you still won’t agree. Lame. Forget it!”

As she turned to leave.

Upon seeing this, Xu Sicheng hurriedly said, ”Alright, alright… I agree, twenty million it is!”

Only then did Ye Yuting stop walking, without turning back, and watched Zhang Jingdong and Ye Jinyan intently, saying, ”Just now, I hadn’t noticed, but now I realize how challenging this really is. Plus, since you didn’t agree immediately, as your penalty, it has to go up to thirty million now!”

”You…”

Xu Sicheng was infuriated this time.

But he also knew Ye Yuting’s temperament; if he didn’t agree, she’d surely help someone else, cutting off his chances with Ye Jinyan. Then he’d have no hope at all.

Besides, he understood that if he continued to hesitate, Ye Yuting might keep raising the price, since it was a seller’s market.

Therefore, he decisively said, ”Fine, I give in… thirty million it is!”

Ye Yuting was actually confident about the twenty million, but the thirty million was just a sudden idea of opportunism which Xu Sicheng unexpectedly agreed to.

She was thrilled inside but said aloud, ”Alright, seeing as you’re sincere enough, I’ll keep helping you. After all, you are the most suitable for my sister in a comprehensive sense, and I really want to ensure her lifelong happiness.”

Although Xu Sicheng knew she was getting a bargain and feigning interest, he could only express gratitude, ”Yuting, thank you. Rest assured, if I end up with your sister, I will not treat you poorly in the future!”

”You said it yourself, I’m going to remember that!”

”Alright, I’ll go find out more about that guy for you now!”

With that, she got up and hurried forward.

When she approached, Ye Yuting shouted, ”Sis…”

Then she threw herself into Ye Jinyan’s arms.

Ye Jinyan, unable to refuse the girl, released Zhang Jingdong’s arm and embraced her.

Ye Yuting held on for over a minute before letting go of Ye Jinyan.

”Sis, I missed you so much!”

Ye Jinyan pursed her lips, ”Alright, tell me, how much are you borrowing this time?”

Ye Yuting waved her hands, ”Sis, I’m not borrowing money from you this time. I really just missed you!”

”Not borrowing money?” Ye Jinyan gave a knowing smile, ”Then you must be here to sell your sister out this time?”

”Sis, what are you talking about? How could that be? You’re my most beloved sister, I wouldn’t sell you.”

”Besides, you’re so smart, if anyone’s selling, it’d be you selling me and I’d help you count the money!”
