Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Zhang Jingdong suddenly felt a warmth in his heart: It seems even the heavens are helping me!

So, as he went forward to rescue her, he also pretended to slip, and after tightly hugging her, he conveniently fell to the ground with her.

Initially, when Ye Jinyan was held by Zhang Jingdong, she felt a mix of shyness and annoyance, thinking he was taking advantage of her. But when she realized they were both falling to the ground, her embarrassment quickly turned into concern.

At that moment, she suddenly felt that Zhang Jingdong was still holding her tightly, while he himself was falling straight toward the ground.

The final result was that Ye Jinyan was unscathed, while Zhang Jingdong landed heavily on the ground with her in his arms.

At this moment, besides being worried, Ye Jinyan was also deeply moved.

”Congratulations to the Host for having physical contact with the target person, moving the target person, and gaining 20 points of goodwill from the target person, with a reward of two million yuan!”

Not far away, Lin Qiuyue and Long Yue had initially been very alarmed seeing them fall and instinctively wanted to rush over, but seeing the current scene, they both stopped simultaneously.

Zhang Jingdong was still holding Ye Jinyan’s graceful figure tightly, secretly savoring her unique fragrance, and carefully observing the subtle expressions on her face.

Meanwhile, Ye Jinyan, after being moved, quickly regained her composure and instinctively wanted to get up, no longer pressing on Zhang Jingdong, but found herself unable to break free from his embrace.

She was anxious and embarrassed, ”Zhang Jingdong, are you alright?”

Zhang Jingdong snapped back to reality and pretended with difficulty, ”I’m... I’m fine, how about you? Did you hurt anywhere?”

Ye Jinyan immediately became more worried, ”I’m fine, let go of me, you’ll get hurt being pressed like this.”

Only then did Zhang Jingdong slowly release Ye Jinyan, ”As long as you’re okay!”

Ye Jinyan nimbly got up and reached out to pull Zhang Jingdong’s arm, saying, ”Thank you... Are you hurt anywhere now?”

”...I’m alright!”

With her help, Zhang Jingdong managed to get up with difficulty and then pretended to lose his balance, conveniently wrapping his arm around her fragrant shoulder.

It was the first time for Ye Jinyan to be held by a man like this, but since Zhang Jingdong did it to save her, and considering his heavy fall just now, her worry outweighed her shyness.

”Let’s go to the hospital now... Qiuyue, contact...”

Zhang Jingdong thought that if they went to the hospital, his ruse would be exposed immediately, so he quickly said, ”No need! I just got knocked a bit, my leg feels a bit numb, definitely not injured, don’t worry.”

”We should still go to the hospital to take a look, just in case...”

Seeing Ye Jinyan still insisting, Zhang Jingdong had no choice but to drop the act, ”Really, no need! I’m... I’m almost fine now, you don’t believe me, look...”

He then released Ye Jinyan and walked a few steps quickly.

To convince her, he even did a big jump at the end.

Ye Jinyan gradually realized and shyly chided, ”You... you actually tricked me! You were pretending!”

Zhang Jingdong knew he had overacted, but he remained calm, ”...I wasn’t! It really hurt a lot just now, you know how heavy you are, right? Anyone would be a bit strained after such a fall.”

Although still somewhat skeptical, Ye Jinyan found sense in Zhang Jingdong’s words, ”Are you really okay now?”

Zhang Jingdong sighed, ”I’m fine physically now, but my heart sustained a bit of damage because you didn’t trust me!”

”I... Who asked you... fine, fine... who asked you to save me, I apologize, okay?”

”Alright, seeing that you’re sincere, I’ll forgive you for now, let’s go...”

As he spoke, Zhang Jingdong naturally extended his hand toward Ye Jinyan.

Ye Jinyan instinctively took two steps back, panicking, ”Wh-what are you doing?”

Zhang Jingdong righteously said, ”It’s a dark and windy night, to prevent you from falling again, I’m protecting you!”

”I... I won’t, I’ll be careful... no need!”

Zhang Jingdong gazed at her intently, warmly saying, ”It’s not about whether you’re careful or not, I won’t allow you to get hurt again!”

Seeing Ye Jinyan seemed hesitant, Zhang Jingdong immediately played his ace, ”Be good!”

Then, perhaps because Zhang Jingdong’s words and demeanor were so comforting, or after witnessing his many talents today, Ye Jinyan had actually been completely won over by him in her heart.

She nodded as if under a spell, ”...Alright.”

Seeing her agreement, Zhang Jingdong immediately stepped forward and took her hand.

Only then did Ye Jinyan realize that Lin Qiuyue and Long Yue were still behind them, and she hurriedly tried to break free.

How could Zhang Jingdong give her a chance to back out now, holding her hand tightly, he whispered, ”Don’t worry, Qiuyue is a smart kid; she definitely won’t spread this around!”

Ye Jinyan felt he made a valid point, and knowing it was unlikely she could escape his clutches, she accepted it.

Seeing this, Lin Qiuyue was incredibly shocked by Zhang Jingdong’s boldness and wisdom, while also realizing her boss had completely accepted him.

A motherly smile instantly appeared on her face.

Even though Long Yue was a bit jealous, her heart was filled with admiration and blessings, because through today’s interaction, she understood Ye Jinyan’s capability and background.

Winning over Ye Jinyan would be a huge boost for Zhang Jingdong both in business and networking.

So in her heart, as long as it benefits Zhang Jingdong, she can gladly accept anything.

Thus, under the moonlight by the West Lake, Zhang Jingdong leisurely strolled with Ye Jinyan, the impeccably beautiful and well-built business tycoon.

Behind them were Long Yue, the top-notch female bodyguard, and Lin Qiuyue, the top-notch assistant.

What originally took only about ten minutes, he stretched into a half-hour walk.
