Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Zhang Jingdong looked innocent: ”It wasn’t me forcing you at the time, think again...”

”What I said then was that if you called me husband, I would explain the knowledge point to you more thoroughly. I didn’t force you at all; ultimately, you did it of your own accord to learn better, I...”

”Don’t say anymore, anyway... it was you who forced me!”

Zhang Jingdong then placed his hand on her fragrant shoulder: ”Miss Ye, such a noble modern woman with high morals and great will, would she really call someone husband because of someone’s coercion? I don’t believe it!”

Seeing Ye Jinyan still unyielding, Zhang Jingdong continued: ”Alright, since you don’t admit it, let’s make a deal now.”

”I’ll perform a song ’Wang Ningmei’ for you; if you think my performance is excellent, then you say ’Husband, I like you’, how about that?”

Ye Jinyan, although slightly looking forward to his performance, shook her head: ”No way!”

Seeing her resolute demeanor, Zhang Jingdong immediately turned into a rogue: ”Alright, since you are unwilling, then I have another deal.”

”I’ll give you a High School Biology lecture, and this time we’ll pay careful attention during class whether it’s me making you call husband or you willingly calling me, how about that?”

Ye Jinyan felt a little embarrassed: ”This... this is even worse! You’re simply delusional!”

Zhang Jingdong remained unfazed: ”This is actually a matter of either-or. If you accept neither, it means you accept everything, so I’ll go one by one, and in the end you’ll call me husband at least twice. You choose!”

Ye Jinyan originally wanted to continue arguing, but seeing Zhang Jingdong’s signature mischievous smile, she instantly realized he was being unreasonable with her again.

She had no choice but to bite her lip: ”…Alright, I’ll choose the first deal.”

Seeing her agree, Zhang Jingdong leaned over and kissed her pretty face, then got off the bed and went to the guzheng.

After a slight preparation, he began to play.

Ye Jinyan, though not a master of guzheng, was considered above average among amateurs, so she identified Zhang Jingdong as a guzheng expert just by observing his initial moves.

She instantly forgot about being bullied by Zhang Jingdong earlier and focused on appreciating his performance.

Since the guzheng was on the balcony and outside was West Lake, combined with Zhang Jingdong’s handsome appearance, at a certain moment, Ye Jinyan suddenly felt that the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning.

Of course, the most beautiful was Zhang Jingdong’s performance.

Originally, Ye Jinyan thought Zhang Jingdong’s clay flute performance over West Lake last night was his best, but she didn’t expect that he could deliver an even more perfect performance this time.

Usually, the learning difficulty of playing instruments is greater than that of wind instruments, and Ye Jinyan also plays guzheng, so this time she profoundly understood how high Zhang Jingdong’s playing level is.

And just at this moment, Zhang Jingdong began to sing:

One is Immortal Fairy

One is Perfect Jade

If there’s no fairy fate

Why did I meet him in this life

If there is fairy fate

Why do heart affairs end in vain?

...

Zhang Jingdong sang the Zhou Shen version, deeply emotive, ethereal, winding long.

Ye Jinyan, on one hand, was moved by Zhang Jingdong’s near-perfect singing.

On the other hand, she had told Zhang Jingdong she didn’t appreciate ’Dream of the Red Chamber’, but she had read it at least ten times over the years and shed many tears for Bao Dai’s Love.

The main thing is, the person singing this song is the man she’s entangled with, even for a lifetime hard to disentangle.

So she immediately felt a very strong sense of involvement.

She suddenly felt that her fate with Zhang Jingdong seemed quite extraordinary.

She always wanted to find a man absolutely loyal to her, but Zhang Jingdong was very flirtatious.

She also hoped for a man with lofty ideals and noble morals, while Zhang Jingdong, although ambitious, his morals… were simply the worst!

She wished for someone two or three years older, so she could act like Lin Daiyu, teasing him casually.

As a result, Zhang Jingdong was almost ten years younger, and it was always her who got teased by him.

He had shattered all her fantasies about a partner, yet unknowingly, she ended up with him!

This… what kind of fate is this?

Thinking of this, Ye Jinyan shook her head self-deprecatingly.

At this time, Zhang Jingdong also finished his performance and stepped forward to her.

”Mr. Ye, genuinely evaluate my performance just now?”

Ye Jinyan was slightly surprised and couldn’t help but exclaim: ”I’m curious now, are you from outer space?”

Zhang Jingdong didn’t hesitate and said solemnly: ”Alright, since you’ve discovered it, I won’t hide my identity, being your man.”

”Actually, my home planet is called Davenclaw Star, and I came to Earth over two thousand years ago to conduct interstellar communication tasks.”

”At that time, we came with three people, but since it was our first interstellar communication, the technology wasn’t perfected, and during landing, the spaceship had a minor issue; the other two crew members died, only I survived.”
