Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

”But do you think these can be considered flagship products?”

Seeing Ye Jinyan seemed a bit bewildered, Zhang Jingdong continued, ”The flagship product of a future internet company should be its unique product, one with unlimited potential for user accumulation.”

”Although Sohu is famous, it’s actually just a portal site, and at best, such a site can earn some advertising money, but relying solely on that money, they can’t even cover the daily operating costs.”

”In recent years, Zhang Chaoyang seems to have made a big deal of things, but his internet thinking is actually a bit out of touch with the times.”

”You can tell from his initial rejection of QQ that his understanding of internet products still stays in the 1990s.”

”Moreover, from the most promising internet companies now, we can roughly determine the direction of the domestic internet in the future.”

”Firstly, QQ, Tencent currently has two hundred million users with just this product, and these users are very active, with many people logging into QQ almost every day to chat with their friends and family.”

”The relationship between users and internet products is like making friends. If you meet with a friend every day, your trust in them will gradually increase.”

”And when an internet product accumulates enough trust with users, it can do many things, such as launching a game hall, guiding users to play games there.”

”Then one day it opens a supermarket, guiding users to shop there...”

Upon hearing this, Ye Jinyan suddenly felt enlightened.

After all, she’s a very gifted investor, and although she doesn’t have Zhang Jingdong’s foresight, with Zhang Jingdong’s guidance, she instantly thought of many key points.

Zhang Jingdong noticed her unusual reaction and continued, ”In my opinion, the three most promising internet companies in the country in the next five to ten years are Ali, Qiandu, and Tencent.”

”Ali has Taobao, Tencent has QQ, and Qiandu has Qiandu Search. The common characteristic of these three is that the user activity of their flagship products is very high, and more importantly, as their products continue to develop, they will become irreplaceable in the future.”

”In contrast, Sohu only has Sohu, and it can’t compete with Sina and NetEase. In at most two or three years, it won’t have a place in the domestic internet arena.”

”And haven’t you considered another point? As the boss of an internet company, Zhang Chaoyang is always thinking about ways to boost his fame, but never takes the lead in developing products or promoting his company’s products. His company is like building skyscrapers on the sand, how can it have a future?”

Upon hearing this, Ye Jinyan nodded in complete agreement, ”What you said makes a lot of sense.”

Seeing that she was so quickly convinced, Zhang Jingdong said, ”Let’s talk about Shunfeng. Firstly, I think your judgment is right. With the rapid development of domestic e-commerce, the courier industry will also benefit and achieve great growth.”

”When the time comes, various business battles will occur, and price will indeed be a weak point for Shunfeng, but what I want to say is that sometimes a high price is not an absolute disadvantage, especially when the counterpart can provide significantly better services.”

”The cheapest Rolex costs tens of thousands, while the most expensive Tianwang watch in the country is less than a thousand, but the reputation and brand value of these two cannot be compared.”

”Moreover, although Shunfeng is more expensive than ’Three Links and One Delivery,’ the unit price is only a few dollars more. Meanwhile, because of these few dollars, customers can receive their packages several days earlier, and since Shunfeng operates directly, they have better security and service attitude assurance.”

”Lastly, let’s talk about Shunfeng’s boss, Wang Wei. You think he’s too composed, but I want to say that the courier industry itself requires a stable and steady approach, so its boss must be steady.”

”You might have seen too much about the courier industry needing to connect with the internet, so it must have the development speed of the internet, but you must understand that the courier industry essentially belongs to the service industry, not the internet industry.”

”And what’s the most important thing in the service industry? First, customer experience; second, customer experience; third... still customer experience!”

”In the future, when all consumers know that Shunfeng is the fastest, safest, and best quality service courier company, even if it’s slightly more expensive, what do you think will happen then?”

At this moment, Ye Jinyan was once again convinced by Zhang Jingdong and also subconsciously thought of the scene this afternoon where he single-handedly overpowered all core figures of Ali.

Today she was also moved by Zhang Jingdong’s talents in painting, photography, and playing the clay flute, but being a businesswoman, what she valued most was a person’s business capabilities.

And now, she was once again deeply impressed by Zhang Jingdong’s near unparalleled commercial talent!

”Congratulations Host on successfully gaining 10 points of goodwill from the targeted individual, awarded 100,000 yuan!”

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong suddenly stopped walking and gazed intensely at Ye Jinyan.

And Ye Jinyan, perhaps because she was a bit absorbed just now, or perhaps she was made shy by Zhang Jingdong’s intense gaze, or maybe because it was dark and she didn’t see the road clearly, suddenly slipped, seemingly about to fall!
