Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 930: Chapter 377: The Worse the Man, the More a Woman Loves Him!

”I’m starting to count, ten... nine... eight...”

Faced with Zhang Jingdong, Ye Jinyan felt like a beauty confronting a soldier, unable to argue her point.

Yet somehow, she wasn’t truly angry inside; instead, she felt an inexplicable thrill.

The reason she kept refusing was simply that she didn’t want Zhang Jingdong to think she was frivolous.

What she didn’t know was that Zhang Jingdong, being a seasoned player, had already seen through it.

Why do many campus belles end up as girlfriends to ruffians, while many seemingly ideal beauties in society end up with some unreliable jerks? There are many reasons, but a significant one is that these men never reason with women and sometimes are quite domineering.

To put it this way, most women, no matter how noble or well-bred, deep down have a desire to do something daring, but they themselves cannot do it directly, as they feel it doesn’t align with their identity.

And those ruffians and jerks would ask them to do those things, and when they half-reluctantly go along, while cursing those jerks, they end up liking them even more.

This is exactly the situation between Ye Jinyan and Zhang Jingdong now.

Ye Jinyan, being brought up in a strictly disciplined high-status family, faced with Zhang Jingdong’s acts that surpassed her mental threshold in every way, hated him on the surface, but could accept it in her heart.

Now Zhang Jingdong forced her into this point, so she reluctantly said, ”Zhang Jingdong, you... alright, I’ll... I’ll choose to draw.”

Seeing her finally acquiesce, Zhang Jingdong was amused inside but feigned regret outwardly: ”Oh dear, you’re annoying, I was about to count to one, and you came in with a killer move.”

Ye Jinyan said angrily, ”Zhang Jingdong, you’re not human!”

Zhang Jingdong was instantly amused: ”Tsk tsk, even a lady of your stature can’t help but curse, but your cursing is so polite, it has no effect at all. Let me teach you a harsher curse, ’Zhang Jingdong, you big idiot!’

Ye Jinyan was caught off guard and bewildered: ”Zhang Jingdong, are you out of your mind? That’s way too crude!”

”But it packs a punch when cursing someone, and it shows you’ve never been in love. Almost every couple, when they start dating, call each other darling, baby, sweetheart, but a year later, it becomes idiot, doofus, dumb—”

Ye Jinyan looked incredulous: ”That’s... that’s just too something, isn’t it?”

Zhang Jingdong continued brainwashing, ”You just don’t get it yet, when emotions between two people reach a certain depth, it becomes affection through bickering, the more you insult him, the more you love him!”

Seeing Ye Jinyan seemed to get it, Zhang Jingdong tempted, ”Now curse me once, ’Zhang Jingdong, you big idiot!’

Ye Jinyan tried to convince herself but eventually shook her head, ”No way, I... I can’t accept that.”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head with a smile, ”Alright, looks like your upbringing was way too strict, we’ll need to change it little by little.”

Then he turned to the easel, pretending to be nonchalant: ”Come on, let’s begin.”

Since Ye Jinyan had refused Zhang Jingdong many times earlier, and now she had agreed to this drawing, she felt conflicted but still went along and put her clothes aside cooperatively.

Seeing this, Zhang Jingdong tried to stay natural: ”You don’t have to purposely imitate Rose, do a Huaxia’s ’Drunken Beauty Recline’, lie on your side, overlap your legs, and bend them slightly...”

Ye Jinyan paused for a moment, then began to follow the instructions.

Zhang Jingdong observed carefully for a moment, then continued, ”Bend your legs a bit more... perfect!”

”Then rest your head on your right hand... yes!”

”And finally, make your eyes look a bit more dreamy... even dreamier!”

Ye Jinyan was a bit confused: ”This is hard for me to grasp.”

”Just recall the feeling you had at the end of my lecture just now, when you couldn’t help yourself.”

Ye Jinyan’s pretty face instantly turned red upon hearing this.

She had nothing to say, so she gradually followed suit.

Zhang Jingdong took a close look and nodded in satisfaction: ”Good, good... just like that! Hold it...”

Then briskly started drawing.

About five minutes later, Zhang Jingdong finished the general outline and let out a small sigh of relief.

He couldn’t help but tease, ”Mr. Ye, I’m not lying, your figure has the best sense of three-dimensionality I’ve ever seen.”

Because Zhang Jingdong had been painting seriously, Ye Jinyan was inevitably a bit tense, afraid that her slightest move might disrupt his painting.

When she saw Zhang Jingdong obviously relax, her anxiety significantly decreased.

She then blinked her pretty eyes: ”Really? Even compared to Yan Ning?”

Zhang Jingdong internally berated himself: Why did you have to get talkative and shoot yourself in the foot?

But without hesitation, he said, ”Though I’m with Mr. Yan, we haven’t ’that’ yet, so honestly, I can’t say for sure.”

”But among my other students, you’re undoubtedly the best!”

Relief flashed in Ye Jinyan’s eyes: ”You really haven’t ’that’ with Yan Ning?”

”I swear.”

”If that’s the case, does this mean I’m ranked higher in your eyes than Yan Ning, since I came into your world earlier?”
