Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

It’s important to know that suits are harder to pull off than traditional outfits, especially for someone as young as Zhang Jingdong, who could easily come across as frivolous, like a kid playing dress-up.

But at this moment, not only did he exude the charm of a mature man, he also had that rare elegant rebel vibe, almost on par with Jude Law!

For a moment, Ye Jinyan suddenly felt that having him pretend to be her boyfriend wasn’t such a bad idea; it actually elevated her status.

And combined with his talents and business skills, he might even impress her grandfather and parents...

Thinking about this, her already somewhat shy face turned completely red!

Zhang Jingdong noticed this and walked right up to her.

Suddenly, he pulled her gently by the waist and asked, ”So, how do I look, handsome or not?”

Although the action was extremely natural, the distributor, the store manager, and the pretty sales assistants around were stunned.

They had initially thought Zhang Jingdong was a kept man by Ye Jinyan, but that move made them realize Zhang Jingdong was actually the boyfriend of this wealthy heiress!

At that moment, the way they looked at Zhang Jingdong changed from frivolous to respectful.

Though Ye Jinyan didn’t want to praise him for fear he’d become arrogant, she could tell that he was fully embracing the boyfriend role. If she didn’t compliment him now, who knows what he’d do.

With a delighted expression, she nodded, ”Mm! You do look quite handsome!”

At this, Zhang Jingdong suddenly reached out and lightly lifted her exquisitely shaped chin: ”All thanks to you. Who knew your taste in clothes was as good as your taste in choosing a boyfriend!”

Ye Jinyan was startled by his bold gesture but knew it wasn’t the time to oppose him.

She had to bite back her shyness and, in a near-coquettish tone, asked, ”Tsk... Are you complimenting me, or are you praising yourself?”

Zhang Jingdong was captivated by her charming demeanor and dotingly asked, ”What do you think?”

After saying that, Zhang Jingdong felt an urge to kiss her.

Ye Jinyan seemed to sense this and quickly gave him an almost pleading look.

Zhang Jingdong chuckled, gave her a deep look, then withdrew his hand and draped it over her fragrant shoulders, ”Alright, it’s getting late, let’s get going.”

Ye Jinyan felt her face was burning: ”…Mm.”

Shortly afterward, the four of them left the boutique, with the distributor and two pretty sales assistants carrying their clothes all the way to the car.

Half an hour later, a black Spint came to a slow stop under the West River Club building.

Getting out of the car, Zhang Jingdong glanced around and spotted many top-tier luxury cars.

Pagani, Ferrari, McLaren, Koenigsegg, convertible Rolls-Royce... although there wasn’t a Bugatti, the sheer number of luxury cars still surprised Zhang Jingdong a bit.

Thinking to himself, as expected of Hang City, he’d heard of the luxury cars being everywhere here in a past life, and today proved it.

In no time, Zhang Jingdong snapped back and saw Ye Jinyan staring at him and instinctively asked, ”What’s up?”

Ye Jinyan gave him a side-eye, ”You took advantage of me so many times before. Now we’re about to go in, and you’re getting hesitant? What, are you scared?”

Zhang Jingdong immediately understood, then reached out to take Ye Jinyan’s hand, laughingly said, ”To die under a peony flower, even as a ghost, it’s amorous. Not to mention just attending a dance party, even meeting your parents wouldn’t scare me a bit, let’s go!”

Ye Jinyan was satisfied with that, ”You wish! Remember, you better play the part well, or if they catch on, I won’t owe you any favors, and I’ll pay you back for all the times you’ve taken advantage of me—with punishment!”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled, ”Don’t worry, I’m at an Oscar level.”

”But you, I’m reminding you one last time, once we get inside, mind those subconscious details. In the next two hours, just think of me as the man you’ve liked for three years. You can even imagine me as your fiancé, and we’re getting married in two months.”

Ye Jinyan couldn’t help but say, ”Aren’t you exaggerating a bit?”

”I’m talking about emotional groundwork, understand? When acting, you must do proper emotional groundwork, or you won’t be able to convey genuine feelings, and it won’t be convincing.”

Ye Jinyan blinked her beautiful eyes, ”...Okay.”

Zhang Jingdong saw she was convinced, then said, ”Anyway, when it comes to us, it’s all about one thing – mutual affection and love that sticks like glue, remember?”

Ye Jinyan first nodded but quickly recalled something, hesitantly adding, ”But you can’t go overboard when the time comes!”

Zhang Jingdong stifled a laugh, ”Relax, since I agreed, I’ll keep my word, let’s go!”

He finished and pulled her into the club.

This place was a three-story standalone building; once a large factory, later bought by a rich second-generation who studied abroad in Hang City, and renovated into a private club.

The first floor was a dance floor and lounge, the second floor housed a billiards hall and other entertainment options, and the third floor featured a go-kart racetrack.

At this moment, most were having fun on the first floor, about sixty to seventy people, all dressed in various luxury brand clothes, their faces practically plastered with ”Laozi’s family is loaded.”

The one most in the spotlight was Ye Yuting.

Firstly, she belonged to the Ye family. While not the core figure like Ye Jinyan, she was direct lineage of Ye’s generation.

Secondly, everyone knew that among the third generation of the Ye family, she was closest to Ye Jinyan, and Ye Jinyan was rumored to be the family head’s favorite granddaughter, even being groomed as a successor.

So getting on good terms with Ye Yuting somewhat opened the opportunity to have a word with Ye Jinyan, and if she indeed became the head of the Ye family, it would undoubtedly mean tapping into a significant network.

Moreover, some particularly outstanding men among them harbored a bolder idea—getting to know Ye Jinyan through Ye Yuting, and maybe even trying to date her.

If anyone succeeded in winning over Ye Jinyan, it would undoubtedly be a huge gain, translating to access to all of the Ye family’s resources, and their status in their own family would skyrocket, potentially becoming the heir to their family’s business.

At that moment, many affluent and eligible young men were clamoring to impress Ye Yuting, while keeping a close watch on the entrance.

Just then, a strikingly handsome man in formal attire walked in, accompanied by a woman.

Everyone was taken aback!

Because they realized the woman next to him was actually Ye Jinyan!
