Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Ye Jinyan hesitantly said, ”Are you starting to not watch the ball from now, or after setting up the cue?”

”Of course, I’m not watching the ball from now. Where’s the challenge if I wait until after setting up the cue?”

”Then I think... you won’t make it!”

Zhang Jingdong intentionally raised his voice, ”I was already unstoppable earlier, and you still think I can’t make it. How about we place a bet?”

Ye Jinyan did feel that this shot was very difficult, and although Zhang Jingdong was good, it wouldn’t be easy to make it.

Additionally, the joyful mood from playing with Zhang Jingdong made her feel like she was fully in the role of his girlfriend, so she was willing to play some exciting games with him.

So she happily nodded, ”Alright, you say, how do we bet?”

Zhang Jingdong said meaningfully, ”The bet is simple. If I make it, you give me a kiss, and if I don’t, I’ll invest a hundred million in your company. How about it?”

As soon as he said this, it instantly caused a commotion around them.

Firstly, people were shocked by Zhang Jingdong’s boldness in asking Ye Jinyan to kiss him in public.

Secondly, they were intimidated by Zhang Jingdong’s financial power. After all, among them, although they were wealthy, few could casually offer a hundred million.

They suddenly realized why Xu Sicheng couldn’t handle Zhang Jingdong—his financial power alone made him no match for Zhang Jingdong.

As for Ye Jinyan, although Zhang Jingdong’s proposed punishment was somewhat excessive, they were now ”a couple,” and during the billiards lesson earlier, some of Zhang Jingdong’s actions were no less excessive than a kiss.

Besides, it was a hundred million, although the bet had a playful tone, Ye Jinyan believed Zhang Jingdong would honor it if he lost.

Thinking of all this, she cast Zhang Jingdong a sideways glance, ”Alright, it’s a deal!”

Everyone, seeing Ye Jinyan actually agreed, was surprised and subconsciously took a few steps over to see if Zhang Jingdong could make the shot.

The men among them almost all hoped Zhang Jingdong would miss the shot, so there wouldn’t be a ”Netorare” moment, and he would lose a hundred million.

Zhang Jingdong sensed this, chuckled to himself, and while maintaining eye contact with Ye Jinyan, approached the cue ball based on memory and confidently set up the cue.

At that moment, just from Zhang Jingdong’s setup, many around them felt at ease.

Because the cue ball was near the left-side cushion, and the black 8 was by the middle pocket, requiring a high cue, but Zhang Jingdong’s setup was off.

If nothing unexpected happened, his cue shouldn’t even touch the black 8, possibly even miscue.

Ye Jinyan noticed this too, she wanted to remind him slightly, but feared it would affect his confidence, so she swallowed the words back down.

Then Zhang Jingdong suddenly struck the cue.

Sure enough, the cue ball didn’t head directly for the black 8, but angled quickly toward the bottom edge.

At that point, everyone around them let out a breath of relief, some even smiling genuinely.

But at that moment, the cue ball rebounded off the top edge and continued towards the opposite bottom edge, suddenly hitting the side of the black 8 midway.

The black 8, upon impact, smoothly rolled into the left middle pocket.

In an instant, the smiles on everyone’s faces froze!

Damn, how lucky could this guy get!

Ye Jinyan, while incredulous, felt at ease too.

Honestly, Zhang Jingdong hadn’t expected it either. That shot was 40% skill and 60% pure luck.

But at the moment of striking, he felt a touch of divine inspiration.

Additionally, he initially planned to invest another hundred million into Ye Jinyan’s company for her to invest in Shunfeng, so he was willing to lose it anyway.

And now...

He grinned smugly, ”Mr. Ye, not lying at all, I purely lucked out on this shot, but there’s nothing to be done. Fate’s on our side, let’s do the punishment!”

Ye Jinyan bit her lip, deliberately ignoring the onlookers, and slowly approached Zhang Jingdong.

Finally, she steeled herself to kiss him.

But seeing Ye Jinyan approaching to kiss his cheek, Zhang Jingdong suddenly leaned back.

He whispered, ”Mr. Ye, were you planning to kiss my cheek? That’s pretty much admitting defeat!”

Ye Jinyan was momentarily confused, ”What... do you mean?”

”What do you think? Given our relationship and the hundred million bet, of course, you should kiss my lips!”

”You... why didn’t you make it clear earlier?”

Zhang Jingdong tried to suppress his laughter, ”Do I need to spell it out? With even a bit of emotional intelligence, you’d guess I meant for you to kiss my lips!”

”Come on, hurry up, or our cover will be blown!”

Ye Jinyan was slightly overwhelmed but felt he had a point.

She glared at him, quickly steeled herself, and finally mustered the courage to lean forward and kissed Zhang Jingdong on the lips.

”Congratulations Host on successfully getting the target to voluntarily kiss, reward of 100,000!”

But as she was about to pull away, Zhang Jingdong wrapped an arm around her shoulder and firmly kissed her.

”Congratulations Host on successfully kissing the target, reward of 150,000!”

Ye Jinyan, caught off guard, was momentarily bewildered!

Yet, knowing all eyes were on them, she didn’t dare to struggle at first.

Later, due to Zhang Jingdong’s incredible kiss, she was too weak to resist.

Many around turned away in sadness.

Ye Yuting was thoroughly convinced by now.

If earlier, she held a sliver of hope that Zhang Jingdong and her sister were fake, being Ye Jinyan’s good sister, she had a gut feeling.

But seeing this scene, she knew it was all real—Ye Jinyan willingly kissing Zhang Jingdong in public proved she truly liked him.
