Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Compared to the comrades from another operational group, Ye Jian knew the dangers their group faced were significantly less. The other group was up against an entire country, and without much thought, one could tell just how perilous their comrades’ situation was.

”There won’t be many, but there will be some effect,” said Xia Jinyuan lightly as he clasped Ye Jian’s hand. A line of eight people infiltrated the village under the cover of night.

T6, who had been recovering for a week, had not fully healed yet, with a broken rib that needed at least twenty days to heal. Now, only a week had passed, and it was still the recovery period, so he was tasked with guarding the route of retreat and providing communication.

Z7, who usually handled communications, temporarily took over T6’s operational role, as they switched positions for the time being.

In the quiet village where one could hear the nocturnal insects chirping, Ye Jian, hidden in the darkness, listened to the insects that knew no national borders and faintly felt as if she were back in her home country.

”Four o’clock direction, five meters, sentry, avoid,” came a whisper.

”Roger that.”

”Roger that...”

”Entering the designated area, ready for action.”

”Roger that... have entered the designated area.”

As several shadows continued to move stealthily, avoiding numerous sentries, they all reached the designated area, ready to take action. V8, responsible for reconnaissance, suddenly crouched down and, after carefully observing for a few seconds, chuckled softly, ”We must have run into Noah’s men. Mr. Will really did things right this time.”

”Ten o’clock direction, two targets, need to take them out?” he asked Xia Jinyuan.

Hiding behind the bushes, Xia Jinyuan almost simultaneously spotted shadows flitting by in the ten o’clock direction. ”Do not alarm them yet, all teams be alert and ready for action.”

”Yes!”

”Yes!”

”Cover!”

”Guard!”

Quiet footsteps barely audible passed by as shadows moved like ghosts, avoiding sentries. Xia Jinyuan at the base of a three-meter-tall wall corner, G3 took a running start, stepped onto Xia Jinyuan’s hands raised on his knees, and with the help of Xia Jinyuan’s hands, G3 swiftly climbed the three-meter-high wall. K7 followed, stepping onto Xia Jinyuan’s hands, and with G3’s help above, also scaled the wall within seconds.

Once both comrades reached the top of the wall, G3 hung upside down, and Xia Jinyuan took a few running steps, stepped on the wall, then grabbed G3’s hands. Both men managed to climb up to the wall corner.

T6 ascended next. Considering his injury, he wasn’t asked to take a running start. Z7, carrying the wireless communication equipment, lifted T6, allowing the comrades above to help him, and quickly T6 too succeeded in scaling the wall corner.

V8, responsible for the surrounding vigilance, was the last one to go up, and in less than a minute and a half, all eight had infiltrated.

Avoiding sentry after sentry, each member worked together, each finding the best position for themselves.

Mr. Will indeed had some skills; the arms and equipment provided were exceptionally comprehensive. He knew how strictly guarded the auction would be, and supplied Xia Jinyuan with a full range of military-grade equipment, including things like infrared devices.

In Molaban, as long as you have money, arms dealers can supply you with any equipment you need.

Avoiding sentry after sentry, Xia Jinyuan and Ye Jian, responsible for the operation, slipped through a door card and quickly crossed paths until they infiltrated the inner perimeter of the auction site.

Illegal trading sites almost always like to set up underground points, and Cyril was no exception. From the outside, his place of business showed no signs of trouble. The underground trading point was built ten meters below the ground, divided into inner and outer areas, with a total of four entrances and exits: a hidden door, a side door, an entrance, and an exit.

Xia Jinyuan and Ye Jian infiltrated through the hidden door, which was also the most time-consuming spot.
