Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

When the sky was barely light, she had already fallen asleep, her black silk nightgown lay on the floor, torn into shreds by him.

Now she lay bare like a newborn baby, without a single cover, sleeping deeply and sweetly. The exertion of their lovemaking had exhausted her, leaving a faint sense of tiredness on her porcelain-white face.

He repeatedly reminded himself to be gentle, to be restrained. His Avery needed his careful care, yet once he touched her, he would lose himself, needing to possess her fiercely, repeatedly, to find satisfaction.

His fingers caressed her bare body, and she responded with a soft moan, as if acknowledging his touch.

Without even looking, he knew her skin, like coagulated fat, was covered with marks he’d left behind. Under the thin sheet, her body was beautiful and elastic, and each time he brought her to the peak, her eyes filled with tears, her helpless cries and gasps drove him crazier. He just wanted to watch her like this, knowing the origin of his longing, feeling guilt and tenderness towards her.

Perhaps dreaming, she snuggled into his embrace, her porcelain white face pressed closely against his chest. The air was filled with the faint fragrance dispersed from her hair, and the intense passions from earlier had not yet faded. The interplay and conflicts between them continued. He enjoyed her clinging so tightly to him, without any distance, relishing in her wholehearted dependence.

When morning came, she barely managed to open her eyes, attempting to climb out of bed, but warm, large hands held her down: ”Don’t go today, you’ve barely slept, it’ll be too much for your body to handle.” He watched her face, radiant from last night’s dew, still full of exhaustion. Going to work like this would be too tiring.

”No way, I don’t want any special treatment. If this keeps up, I’ll surely get fired. I can sneak a nap during lunch to fix it.” Avery Jane tried to leave the cozy bed. If she continued like this, she would indeed become a total layabout. She certainly didn’t want to be the first Hughes Clan employee fired for lateness and absenteeism; that would be too ridiculous.

”I have to work, I don’t want to stay at home all day.” As long as she had a request, if she truly wanted it, he would always agree. But with her insistence, he didn’t have any options.

”Then come up to my office at noon. It’s more comfortable to nap in the lounge.” Joshua Hughes lowered his head and gently kissed her soft lips. Not letting her go was impossible because she would be unhappy; yet he was a bit reluctant. ”Report to me when the time comes. We’ll eat lunch together in the office, and afterwards you can go rest.”

Avery nodded obediently, got up, changed her clothes, and tidied up before leaving. Breakfast was already laid on the table. His simple morning meal was always delicious, and perhaps because she had used too much energy yesterday, she ate even more than usual. The man with rolled-up sleeves accompanied her through breakfast, a smile at the corners of his lips. This was his dream life: a woman who shared his innermost thoughts, a simple yet warm breakfast, nights spent together, whether filled with boundless passion or simple warmth, he enjoyed it all. Even merely falling asleep in her arms was fulfilling.

In the office, work was always somewhat hectic, and amidst handling various documents, the girls would chat during their brief moments of downtime.

”Avery Jane, how’s our boss? Is he strong?” Emma White asked in a lowered voice. After discovering the situation, she most wanted to ask this question. Surely, she wasn’t the only one curious; the company’s female colleagues were all curious about this god-like man, especially about that particular aspect.

”What’s strong?” Avery Jane was binding today’s documents while rubbing her sore back; she didn’t feel comfortable. Even walking was a bit unsteady today.

”Don’t play dumb, it’s about that ability of his.” Emma White’s excited tone suddenly made Avery Jane realize what she was asking about. This horny girl was fixated on such thoughts all day long.
