Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

”It’s not your turn yet, is it?” Avery Jane looked at the small silver ice bucket on the table. Even the ice buckets in this place were made so exquisite they looked like works of art, filled with glittering ice cubes that seemed to be giving off cold mist.

The girl lowered her head. ”This gentleman hasn’t told me to leave.” Joshua Hughes had his eyes closed, alcohol-scented breath spilling out with every exhale, and that tightly furrowed brow made people want to go over and gently smooth it out for him.

”Well I’m telling you to leave now. If he wakes up and explodes, don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Joshua liked her, she was at least confident of that much. Otherwise a man this proud wouldn’t have done so much for her. So most likely this woman was trying to take advantage of the situation, wanting to cash in on his drunkenness and get something out of him. A pretty woman makes men want to take advantage; likewise, a handsome man makes women want to offer themselves up all on their own.

”He’s my man. Nobody else is allowed to know that, okay?” Avery’s temper was being lit bit by bit. She’d always thought TV dramas were ridiculously melodramatic, like how could women start brawling over a man without any regard for their image? Now she finally understood. She wanted to hit someone too, scratch up that tender baby face. God, how did she suddenly turn into such a violent woman?

She’s so fierce, no wonder this man got so upset he ran off here to drink.

”Don’t get mad, I just wanted to make him a little happier.” A woman’s body can always give a man the greatest satisfaction and relaxation.

”But he doesn’t want you. His woman can only be me, got it?” Avery Jane looked at the completely wasted Joshua Hughes. This damn bastard—if she hadn’t come in time, would he have done with this woman all the things he’d done with her before? And if we go full melodrama here, would there be some woman showing up ten months later with a baby in her arms wanting to negotiate with her?

If she won’t get down on her own, then she can’t blame Avery. She grabbed the ice bucket from the table, walked over, and in one swift movement yanked open his loosened shirt buttons. With a crashing sound, the whole bucket of small ice cubes was dumped into his clothes. The sudden intense stimulation made Joshua’s strong body jerk, and he snapped his eyes open.

He instinctively yanked his shirt completely open, and his grip was so powerful that all the buttons were ripped off, scattering in pieces onto the sofa, onto the floor......

”Damn it, who......” Joshua’s low roar was like a Beast’s. But when he opened his eyes, he realized how bizarre the scene was, so bizarre even he found it unbelievable. There was a woman sitting on his body—yes, a woman with no clothes on. And Avery Jane was standing right in front of him, an empty ice bucket dangling from her hand. What the hell?

Men hate this kind of woman the most. This woman might really be his wife, but he clearly didn’t like her. She was so rough, not considerate at all. ”Sir, please put this jacket on first, it’s too cold like this.” Her voice was gentle and sweet, like the most timid little lamb. She reached out and grabbed the suit jacket from the sofa.

All the buttons on his shirt were undone, and his perfectly built male torso was exposed to the air—two sexy slabs of pecs, neatly lined abs, made even more tempting by the dim lighting. After the shock of the ice cubes, you could practically see those firm muscles bulging even more.

”Avery, what are you doing here?” Joshua Hughes could hardly believe his eyes. How was she here?

”If I hadn’t come, if I hadn’t come you would’ve, you would’ve........” Avery pointed at the woman on top of him, so furious she couldn’t even get her words out properly.

Joshua didn’t spare the woman on his body even a glance. With one big shove of his hand, that woman fell to the floor with a little cry. ”Ouch.....” The sound was pitiable, but Joshua didn’t look at her at all. He stood up and grabbed Avery.

”Avery, I just had a few drinks, that’s all. I didn’t do anything.” Joshua held his hands out to show his innocence. So much had already happened lately, and now even coming out for a drink he’d been caught by her with a woman on him. Luckily nothing had actually happened.

”You didn’t do anything because you didn’t have time yet, right? If I’d come a little later, would I be watching you live on-stage?” Avery’s face was full of fury, teeth sunk into her lower lip as she looked at Joshua. After drinking, his eyes were even deeper and more hazy, his whole person seeming even wilder and unruly, so handsome and alluring she almost wanted to scream. No wonder so many women want to throw themselves at him. But does this man have no self-control at all? Has to have a woman with him just to drink? And she’s not even wearing clothes?
