Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

”She...” Joshua Hughes’ deep voice, tinged with the rich aroma of wine, floated out from his thin lips. That single word ”she” triggered a shiver in Avery Jane’s heart, almost making her eyes bulge out. How could he be like this?

While taking advantage of her, he was complimenting someone else’s beauty, even if he were just appeasing her or lying to her, it would be better. Women don’t want men to deceive them, but at the same time, the truth can be the most hurtful.

The pain deep in her heart spread like vines, her eyes reddened, staring dazedly at this man who was three parts drunk, seven parts sober.

She initially wanted to ask, ”If I hadn’t come, would you have done the same thing to her?” But such a question got stuck in her throat, unable to be voiced. She didn’t have the courage to ask, fearing an even more terrifying answer.

The light in the car was dim, her lowered lashes hid her sadness. Her body trembled slightly, even her body temperature seemed to drop a little, becoming soft and cool.

”What do you want to ask me? Whether I would touch her when I’m sober?” His eyes were like X-rays penetrating her brain, reading her brainwaves.

”Avery, I haven’t even looked closely at what she looks like. How would I know if she’s pretty?” Her reaction pleased him greatly, clearing the gloom in his heart. Indeed, he was too sensitive today. He couldn’t bear to tease her anymore.

”You’re lying; even I, as a woman, think she’s good-looking, let alone you men.” Avery Jane’s heart felt like it was hung high in the sky by him, only to be dropped back down into her body again, the ups and downs were too intense, more thrilling than a roller coaster.

Looking at the smile on his face, he’s teasing her, ”How can you be like this?”

Her tone carried an accusatory and indignant resentment. His smile always seemed to enchant women: ”Don’t smile at other women.” Since it’s a marriage, both should be loyal.

”Next time you go looking for other women, I’ll go find men. From what I know, there are at least twenty promising young men at the company who like me. If you dare to be unfaithful, I’ll go out and find other men to drink with. Women are different from men; when a woman gets drunk, that’s when a man has a chance.” Avery Jane clutched his shirt collar, speaking fiercely. Her red lips were right in front of his eyes, her eyes, just misted with water, sparkled like pure black crystal, maybe not just twenty people liked her; her beauty was irresistible to men, undeniable and irresistible.

She was even more enchanting now than when he first met her, full of charm. That flavor between woman and girl, pure and seductive, drove people insane.

The force in his hand suddenly intensified, kneading that rich flesh: ”If you dare go to other men, I will...” His ambiguous words whispered at her ear made Avery almost want to push him away. This man’s guts were really troublesome.

In the car, with someone else around, he didn’t go too far. But when they returned to the apartment, he eagerly pushed her against the door, his lips passionately pressing onto hers, yet Avery Jane blocked him with her fingers: ”Go take a shower, clean up. You smell like other women, it’s disgusting.” Well, she couldn’t refuse his advances, but at least he should wash thoroughly, the clean scent would ease her mind.

Joshua Hughes lowered his head and sniffed; apart from some wine smell, there shouldn’t be much else.

”Let’s shower together.” Holding her, he had no intention of letting go, his large hands rubbed against her skin, delicate and smooth like the finest silk, making it hard for him to let go.

”Dream on, go quickly.” Avery Jane pushed him away forcefully, pointing to the bedroom: ”Quick, this smell is disgusting, suffocating...” Joshua Hughes looked at her determined little face, reluctantly withdrawing his hands from her body, quickly dashing into the bathroom.

The warm orange light was comforting, Avery Jane changed into a black nightgown, one she had never worn before, fine spaghetti straps, hollow lace nearly exposing everything, with pink dots on top that couldn’t be covered. The short skirt barely grazing her thigh, was too short, almost revealing the black lace panties wrapped around her round hips.

If he teased her like this, she had to pay him back.

Having showered quickly, not long after, a naked Joshua Hughes pushed open the bathroom door and emerged. The scene before him made his blood rush; she was lying on the bed, her long black hair scattered, draped over her back and shoulders, her flawless back made even more stunning under the cover of black hair. The short skirt couldn’t hide her round hips, her long legs slender and smooth, glowing and captivating, the whole person like an exquisitely proportioned sexy Eastern Barbie doll. This damn little spirit was doing it on purpose? Still facing away from him, tonight he would make her stay like this all night. He chuckled wickedly and moved forward...

”Don’t move, the smell is still strong, it’s uncomfortable, seriously go and wash?” Avery Jane sat up, looking at Joshua Hughes’ strong physique, his tense muscles like a cheetah ready to pounce.

”Quickly, go seriously wash again, use my bath gel, make it fragrant, that’s my scent, hurry up...” Avery Jane walked up to him, lowered her head to avoid his desire-tinted red eyes, her alabaster fingers lightly tracing across his body.

He couldn’t handle her speaking softly like this, when her finger grazed his body, it felt like electricity coursing through him. Right now, he really didn’t want to shower, he wanted to ravage her fiercely, but he was in the wrong today. He should indulge her, Joshua Hughes endured the overwhelming desire, slapped her round butt, his voice gravelly: ”Wait for me on the bed...”

This couldn’t be considered a hint; it was clearly telling her what would happen soon. Avery Jane’s face blushed: ”Uh-huh, go shower quickly...”

Never in his life had he hated showering so much; this was the third time. Joshua Hughes grudgingly washed as he replayed her seductive poses on the bed, the deep-seated allure driving him mad. This little woman was transforming day by day, more beautiful, bolder, more charming. Suddenly remembering her smile earlier, the gentle lowered smile seemed to carry a hint of cunning.

Was she teasing him? This damned little woman was teasing him, because earlier in the car he probed her, now she was teasing him? Really pulling out all the stops, wearing sexy clothes she never would, how could he let down her heartfelt effort?
