Medical and Martial God

After Xue Man and An Bai ran a safe distance away, they revealed their identities. The dozen or so Martial Artists pursuing them were immediately paralyzed with fear.

Xue Man and An Bai paid them no mind, instead watching from afar as Qin Qing and Leng Yue were beaten up.

”This is a good opportunity to see Qin Qing and Leng Yue’s strength,” Xue Man said with a cold laugh.

”What if they’re too weak and get mobbed or assaulted by those Fourth-Ranks? We’re so close, but we might not have time to rescue them,” An Bai said with concern.

”You have a point. Let’s get closer.”

Xue Man nodded. She only wanted those Fourth-Rank Martial Artists to teach Qin Qing and Leng Yue a lesson; she would never actually allow them to get hurt or assaulted.

The two quickly moved closer, but after just a few steps, they saw Qin Qing and Leng Yue leap out of the car and launch an attack.

They were stunned.

”They’re that strong?” Xue Man exclaimed.

An Bai narrowed her eyes and watched for a moment before saying, ”Those Fourth-Ranks are all Great Grandmasters and First Realm War Gods. The ease with which Qin Qing and Leng Yue are handling so many people suggests their strength is at least that of Second Realm War Gods.”

”They might be Third Realm, but definitely not Fourth Realm. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have caught them so easily last time,” Xue Man said.

She and An Bai were both Fourth Realm War Gods.

”Should we go over now? At this rate, they’ll injure all of those Fourth-Ranks,” An Bai said.

”No rush. If they’re Second Realm War Gods, their Martial Prowess won’t last long enough for them to injure all one thousand of them. If they can pull it off, it means they’re Third Realm War Gods.”

Looking as if she had everything under control, Xue Man said, ”Still, let’s move a bit closer, just in case they can’t hold out and we need to show ourselves to rescue them.”

The two continued to draw nearer, stopping less than a hundred meters from the road to leisurely watch the battle.

They gradually realized that Qin Qing and Leng Yue were incredibly efficient fighters. Not a single move was wasted; each attack targeted an opponent’s nose. Once a blow landed, the victim’s nasal bones shattered, blood sprayed everywhere, and they were instantly taken out of the fight.

”With their fighting style, even if they are Second Realm War Gods, they could injure everyone without exhausting their Martial Prowess,” Xue Man said with a darkened expression.

”We should still intervene and stop this,” An Bai suggested.

”Alright!” Xue Man nodded.

The two immediately ran onto the road, shouting, ”Stop! We are Princess Kristina’s guards!”

Upon hearing this, every one of the attackers besieging Qin Qing and Leng Yue nearly wet themselves.

My goodness! We really picked the wrong people to mess with! Plotting against the Princess’s guards is a capital offense!

Instantly, they all stopped fighting, kneeling on the ground to await their fate.

But Qin Qing and Leng Yue showed no intention of stopping. Even with everyone kneeling and no longer attacking, they continued kicking each of their opponents in the face.

”Qin Qing, Leng Yue, I told you to stop!” Xue Man scolded.

Qin Qing and Leng Yue acted as if they hadn’t heard and kept attacking.

”I told you to stop!”

Furious, Xue Man ran over to grab Qin Qing.

SLAP!

Qin Qing slapped Xue Man across the face and said coldly, ”You and An Bai intended to use them to kill me and Leng Yue. Hmph, just wait and see how Ye Xiu deals with Kristina.”

Xue Man and An Bai were scared to death. Xue Man quickly explained, ”You’ve misunderstood, Qin Qing! We had no intention of using them to kill you. Please, don’t report us to Ye Xiu.”

Qin Qing ignored her and, along with Leng Yue, continued to kick the Martial Artists’ faces.

This time, Xue Man and An Bai didn’t intervene. They even hoped that after Qin Qing and Leng Yue finished venting their anger, they would calm down and not report them to Ye Xiu.

Soon, all one thousand of the men—including those kneeling on the ground and the dozen who had chased Xue Man and An Bai—had their noses broken by Qin Qing and Leng Yue.

”Get lost!” Qin Qing said coldly.

The thousand Martial Artists scattered as if granted a great amnesty, scrambling back into the cargo beds of their trucks. The twenty trucks then sped away, vanishing in a flash.

”What’s the story with those people?” Qin Qing asked, turning her cold gaze to Xue Man and An Bai.

At this point, Xue Man and An Bai didn’t dare refuse to answer.

Xue Man said, ”Those were troop transport trucks. The thousand men on board are all Fourth-Ranks. They were supposed to assemble on Biluo Island before being sent to the Wanjin Mountains in Xuanse Nanjing.”

This information was confidential, but Xue Man wasn’t worried about Qin Qing and Leng Yue leaking it. She believed that even if they tried, the information would never get out.

”Fourth-Ranks?”

Qin Qing and Leng Yue exchanged a glance. Envoy Yatie had once mentioned being a Fourth-Rank, but Ye Xiu hadn’t paid it any mind. It now seemed Ye Xiu had overlooked some important intelligence.

Qin Qing asked, ”You said before that the people on Biluo Island are of the lowest class, but just now one of those men claimed they were of a higher class. What’s going on?”

Xue Man explained, ”The people of the Eternal Kingdom are divided into five ranks. The Fifth-Ranks, also known as the lowest class, are born without any talent for Cultivation. Their purpose in life is to serve the higher ranks in fields such as agriculture and production.”

Qin Qing interrupted, ”Wait, what do you mean by the ’Eternal Kingdom’?”

”The Eternal Islands is actually a nation,” An Bai said.

Qin Qing and Leng Yue looked at each other in shock. They had always assumed the three Judicator Families were just an Ancient Martial Sect, not an entire nation.

Qin Qing asked, ”What is the population of the Eternal Kingdom?”

”A little over one hundred million, but the lowest class makes up more than seventy million of that,” Xue Man said.

My God! The three Judicator Families rule a nation with a population of over one hundred million! According to An Bai, the seventy million-plus lowest class lack cultivation talent. Does that mean the Eternal Kingdom has over thirty million Martial Artists, Extraordinary Abilities Holders, and Totem Inheritors?

This intelligence is too crucial! We must inform Ye Xiu as soon as possible!

”Please continue,” Leng Yue said.

Xue Man nodded and went on, ”The Fourth-Ranks have a natural talent for Cultivation but have not inherited a Totem or Special Abilities. However, if they wish to raise their rank, they can create their own Martial Arts and comprehend ’Intent.’ If they succeed, they are granted a Totem or Special Abilities and become Third-Ranks.”

Anticipating their next question, she added, ”There are about sixteen million Fourth-Ranks in the Eternal Kingdom.”

Qin Qing and Leng Yue pondered this. It was impossible to judge the strength of these sixteen million Fourth-Ranks; they could range from First Grade Martial Artists to War Gods of the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Realms.

Xue Man continued, ”The Third-Ranks are former Fourth-Ranks who have comprehended ’Intent’ and been granted a Totem or Special Abilities. There are roughly three million of them.”

Qin Qing’s and Leng Yue’s expressions turned grim. A First Realm War God had to comprehend ’Intent’ to advance to the Second Realm.

Does that mean the weakest of the three million-plus Third-Ranks are at least Second Realm War Gods? My God, that number is terrifying!

Xue Man said, ”As for the Second-Ranks, they are individuals who have inherited a Totem or Special Ability but have not yet awakened it, or if they have, have not yet comprehended ’Intent.’ There are about seven hundred thousand of them.”

Qin Qing and Leng Yue figured that if the Second-Ranks and Third-Ranks were to fight, the Second-Ranks wouldn’t stand a chance. The Third-Ranks were far more numerous, and their weakest were all Second Realm War Gods. Meanwhile, the Second-Ranks included infants and children who had inherited a Totem or Special Ability but were otherwise helpless.

”What about the First-Ranks?” Qin Qing asked.

Xue Man replied, ”The First-Ranks are those who have successfully awakened their Totem or Special Ability and also comprehended ’Intent.’ There aren’t many of them, just over 260,000.”

HISS!

That’s not a small number at all! These are all War Gods of the Second Realm and above who have awakened a Totem or Special Ability. The might of the Eternal Kingdom is terrifying!

”Above the First-Rank is the ruling class of the Eternal Kingdom,” Xue Man went on. ”These individuals are all War Gods of the Fifth Realm and above. They are extremely rare, with only 3,600 of them in total.”

That’s a few?

Qin Qing and Leng Yue felt their scalps tingle.

3,600 War Gods of the Fifth Realm and above could wipe out the rest of the world!

”Above the ruling class are the three Judicator Families,” Xue Man said.

There’s more? So the so-called First, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth-Ranks, along with the ruling class, don’t even include the three Judicator Families.

A moment’s thought made it clear: the three Judicator Families did not participate in the direct governance of the Eternal Kingdom. They were the true emperors of the Eternal Kingdom!

”How many War Gods are in the three Judicator Families?” Leng Yue asked.

”I don’t know,” An Bai said, shaking her head. ”That’s a top secret of the Eternal Kingdom.”

Qin Qing and Leng Yue fell silent. The information Xue Man had provided was so overwhelming they needed time to process it. After a long while, Qin Qing said, ”Let’s go to the library.”
