Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Whoosh~

”Finally out… The Dao of Light and the Dao of Formations was far harder to comprehend than I expected…”

Appearing back in the mountain range after a little over two weeks had passed outside the Enlightenment Space, Xuan Hao could not help muttering this to himself as he remembered the little over seven and a half years that he had spent inside the Enlightenment Space of the System.

Although the place was optimal for comprehending the Dao of Space and the Dao of Light, it was inferior to the other Enlightenment Spaces he had gone through in the past. Other than that, the main thing that made him spent such a long time inside the Enlightenment Space was the Dao of Formations.

Out of all the time he had spent in there, at least 80% of the time was spent on him trying to comprehend the Dao of Formations!

Even then, I did at least manage to reach the Grandmaster Realm…

Shaking his head as he thought about this to himself, Xuan Hao could only lament that his talent for the Dao of Formations was nowhere near the Dao of Blacksmithing that he had managed to promote to the Small Success Realm in a far short period of time.

Then again, it could also be because he had the help of a Saint Realm Blacksmith guiding him in the Dao of Blacksmithing. Making it far easier to comprehend than if he had to do it on his own like he had to in the Enlightenment Space…

”I wonder how much my status changed now that I comprehended to new Daos...” Deciding to not think too much about his slow comprehension in regard to the Dao of Formations, Xuan Hao instead decided to focus his attention on his status after a long time to see if there were any changes now that he had managed to comprehend two new Daos to the Small Success Realm.

Name: Xuan Hao

Dao Domain: Dao of Ice (Small Success), Dao of the Sword ((Peak) Small Success), Dao of Corruption (Small Success), Dao of Fire (Small Success), Dao of Space (Small Success), Dao of Illusions (Large Success Realm), Dao of Blacksmithing (Small Success), Dao of Light (Small Success Realm), Dao of Formations (Small Success Realm) Dao Lotus: 9 layers (Possible layers 11) Sword Intent: Peak Nascent Sword Soul Realm

Bloodline: Three Immortals Bloodline (Half-Awakened) Physique: ??? (99% Awakened)

Realm: Late Stage Dao Domain Lord (Comparable to Dao Seed Realm, Sixth Layer Dao Seed) Professions: Alchemist (Master), Formation Master (Grandmaster), Blacksmithing (Pseudo Saint) Sect: Star Shattering Sect Status: Grand Elder of the Star Shattering Sect Disciples: Qing Yi, Chu Yang, Bai Ning, Mui Pet: Lazy Winged Lion (Peak Ninth Stage Domain Lord Realm), Rabbit Demon Beast (Fourth Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm)

Looking through his status for any changes, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit disappointed. Although his comparable to realm had changed from the Earth Immortal Realm to the Dao Seed Realm, there wasn’t anything unexpected in his status.

His physique was still stuck at the 99% mark showing no signs of changing and his Sword Intent remained unchanged, while his pets had not improved since the last time he viewed his status.

”Hm? This is…”

However, just as he was about to close his status and leave the Burning Mountain Range to begin his search for his potential fifth disciple in the primeval jungle, he noticed a new small plus symbol located next to his disciples and pets… And feeling curious, he decided to touch the symbol located next the rabbit demon beast first.

[Royal Rabbit, Prince]

[Realm: Fourth Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Relam]

[Talent: 47]

[Bloodline: Royal Emperor Rabbit (In the process of awakening)]

[Subordinates: Squirrel Demon Beast (Nascent Soul Realm)]

Looking at the new screen that appeared in front of him, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit shocked. Not because the information in the screen was anything new to him, but because he didn’t expect that he could also view the status of his pets like this… And looking towards the plus symbols next to his four disciples, it was easy to guess that he should also be able to view their status through the system.

Whoosh~

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao wasted no time as he first decided to pull up the status of his first disciple-

Name: First Disciple, Qing Yi

Race: Human

Talent: 38 Potential Dao: Dao of Fire, Dao of Wind, Dao of Light, Dao of Space, Dao of Alchemy

Physique: Bright Sun Divine Physique (Late Stage, Small Sun Realm)

Realm: Seventh Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm

Profession: Alchemy (Peak Artisan Realm) Cultivation Mantra: Heaven Burning Mantra

However, after pulling up his first disciple’s status, Xuan Hao could not help narrowing his eyes slightly.

Different from the rabbit demon beast, it also included a few more things like her cultivation mantra, race and most important of all, potential dao.

Although there was no description of what this potential dao was, it did not take a genius to understand that it was the Daos most suited for Qing Yi to comprehend.

The Dao of Fire was expected given the fact that she had a physique related to the Dao of Fire, but the Dao of Wind, the Dao of Light and the Dao of Space was completely unexpected.

”So… With the help of this I will be able to tell what dao is best suited for my disciples to learn?” Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao could not help feeling excited as he realized that this would allow his disciples to have a far easier time reaching the Dao Domain Lord Realm in the future.

After all, one of the main roadblocks for someone to reach the Dao Domain Lord Realm was the fact that it would be difficult to comprehend more than one dao in the Domain Lord Realm.

If by mistake, one ended up spending years trying to comprehend a dao without progress, it was essentially wasting precious time that could be used trying to break through to the Soul Ascension Realm. Even if others knew about the existence of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, it was unlikely for them to try and reach it due to the hurdle of finding another dao that was compatible and comprehend the dao.

Not to mention, one still had to merge the newly comprehended dao into the domain to create a dao domain, something that came with its own risks not any lower than the tribulation of breaking through to the Soul Ascension Realm…

However, with the help of the system, he could now tell what Daos were more suited for his disciples. Making it far easier for them to reach the Dao Domain Lord Realm in the future!

Whoosh~

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao quickly put away Qing Yi’s status and pulled up Chu Yang’s status-

Name: Second Disciple, Chu Yang

Race: Human

Talent: 57 Dao: Dao of the Spear (Pseudo Domain)

Potential Dao: Dao of Earth, Dao of Blood, Dao of Slaughter, Dao of Death

Physique: No Special Physique

Recommended Physique: Six Paths of Slaughter Divine Physique (Can be refined)

Realm: Half Step Domain Lord Realm

Cultivation Mantra: Soul Spear Divine Mantra

”Huh?”

However, once again, he was taken aback by what he saw. Not so much because there was now a recommended physique present below the physique part of the status, but because of the potential Daos of his second disciple.

The Dao of Earth was expected by him to some extent considering that the Soul Spear Divine Mantra did later develop into spear moves relying on the Dao of Earth, but the rest of the Daos recommended for his disciples was a bit much.

Okay… I know he likes fighting a lot, but the Dao of Slaughter? Isn’t that a bit too much…? Not to mention that Dao of Blood and the Dao of Death!

Not knowing what to say as he continued to intentionally stare at the potential Daos part of the status, Xuan Hao decided to completely ignore the recommended physique for his disciple.

If he really ended up refining the Six Paths of Slaughter Divine Physique mentioned by the system, he feared that this disciple of his would really end up becoming some kind of death god in the future.

Although… Since he had beaten up most of the Nascent Soul Realm elders of the sect, he was already considered to be like this in the eyes of some of the elders who had been dragged away to the Combat Hall for training by him regularly.

As for him reaching the Half Step Domain Lord Realm and establishing a pseudo domain through his comprehension of the Dao of the Spear in the short time he had been gone, Xuan Hao didn’t find it odd considering that he should have gained quite a bit during their training together before he had left the sect to deal with the Earth Immortal from the Heavenly Dragon Temple.

After all, before leaving, Chu Yang could already be considered to only be a single step away from establishing his pseudo domain…
