Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Not only did Bai Ning reputation spread through the sect during this half year, but Mui’s name also spread among the disciples of the Star Shattering Sect. Although, the reason why she became known was not do to her creating some amazing artifact like Bai Ning did, but instead because of the rather unique artifacts that she had ended up creating after learning about the special formation symbols used by blacksmiths to strengthen their artifact.

Given how much she had ended up practicing after learning about the special formation symbols, she ended up creating hundreds of these unique artifacts during the last half year… And with nowhere to put all of them after the forge she used had almost been filled to the brim, she had decided to give them away to the different disciples she met during her walk from the Sea of a Thousand Furnaces to the palace of her master.

In the end, it was this giving away of artifacts that had ended up causing her to gain a reputation among the disciples of the sect. Not only because of the unique appearance of these artifacts, but also because most of them were capable of blocking the attacks of someone in the Core Formation Realm with relative ease.

Even though this might have been due to the quality of the spiritual metal used in the creation of these artifacts, it was still more than enough to make some of the younger disciples admire this strange senior who looked no more than thirteen going around giving out these unique artifacts for free.

At the same time, Qing Yi finally managed to break through to the Master Realm and the Seventh Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm six months after the grand elder of the half spirit race had broken through to the Domain Lord Realm. However, because she didn’t announce it and only Xuan Hao knew about it, her break through to the Master Realm went unnoticed by the disciples and elders of the sect as she remained fully absorbed in trying out new potion and pill recipes after her breakthrough.

On the other hand, the same could not be said for Chu Yang, who broke through to the Ninth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm inside the Combat Hall a short two months after Qing Yi’s breakthrough to the Master Realm.

The breakthrough was seen by countless junior and senior disciples along with the elders in charge of the Combat Hall. Resulting in his name resounding through the entire sect. Praised unanimously as the strongest disciple of the sect.

In the end, a short time after Chu Yang’s breakthrough, Elder Song saw an opportunity and grabbed hold of Feng Chen before disappearing with him.

Only a few hours later did the rest of the sect come to know that a new position known as Prime Disciple had been established and Chu Yang had been promoted to this new position, it was only after learning what this new position entailed that some of the elders understood why Elder Song had abducted Feng Chen a few hours earlier.

In essence, the Prime disciple represented the strongest disciple in the sect at the moment and could be replaced by anyone if they could beat the current prime disciple.

Of course, when Chu Yang was promoted to an elder at some point in the future, a new Prime Disciple would be chosen to replace him.

The reason why Elder Song had been excited to establish a position like this after he saw Chu Yang breaking through to the Ninth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm, was because he also saw the fighting spirit of the different disciples who watched the breakthrough igniting. Driving them towards improving their own strength and cultivation.

In the end, Elder Song wanted to try and use the Prime Disciple position to stimulate the fighting spirit of these younger disciples.

Even if there was no chance of them becoming a Prime Disciple due to the fact that Chu Yang was already close to the Domain Lord Realm and had strength almost comparable to someone in the Domain Lord Realm, it didn’t change the fact that these younger disciples would work harder when they had a goal to work towards and try their best to surpass!

Following the establishment of the Prime Disciple position, the atmosphere in the Star Shattering Sect changed from its usual calm and serene appearance into one filled with disciples all working hard to improve their strength.

The increased fighting spirit of these young disciples ended up causing the Combat Hall and Grand Mission Pavilion to be filled to the brim for the next four months, as the disciples who qualified to take on missions outside the sect all rushed to get out and find an opportunity to enhance their strength, while the weaker ones ended up staying back in the sect to practice in the Combat Hall.

Of course, it was not just the weaker disciples staying in the Combat Hall, as some of the stronger disciple also stayed behind to practice their combat techniques, Chu Yang being one of these stronger disciple, as he returned to the Combat Hall shortly after having stabilized his cultivation base and a short conversation with his master about how he should go about establishing a pseudo domain in preparation for reaching the Domain Lord Realm in the future.

…

”Finally managed to condense the ninth layer… And with only a little over a week left before the one-year time imit mentioned by those people from the Heavenly Dragon Temple is up…” Opening his eyes again after spending a half year fully immersed in the Dao of Blacksmithing, Xuan Hao could not help muttering this to himself as a sense of nervousness washed over him.

Although he had managed to reach the Small Success Realm in the Dao of Blacksmithing and finished condensing the ninth layer around his dao lotus before the lord from the Heavenly Dragon Temple arrived, he still felt nervous when thinking about the fact that he would have to face the unknow Earth Immortal Realm Expert from the Heavenly Dragon Temple.

After all, even if he knew that the other party was in the Earth Immortal Realm, he had no idea how strong this lord from the Heavenly Dragon Temple was. In the worst-case scenario, he might be someone in the Half Bloom Stage that he had no way to fight back against with his current strength.

Of course, if the other party was really that strong, he would be forced to hide away inside the chaotic qi formation and begin the Immortal Soul Tribulation.

Even if it would give up his chance at reaching the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, he should at least be able to gain enough strength to fight back against the Heavenly Dragon Temple after overcoming the Immortal Soul Tribulation.

Other than that, I might also have a chance if my physique awakens…

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao could not help glancing over his status.

Name: Xuan Hao

Dao Domain: Dao of Ice (Small Success), Dao of the Sword ((Peak) Small Success), Dao of Corruption (Small Success), Dao of Fire (Small Success), Dao of Space (Small Success), Dao of Illusions (Large Success Realm), Dao of Blacksmithing (Small Success) Dao Lotus: 9 layers (one for each dao comprehended.)

Sword Intent: Peak Nascent Sword Soul Realm

Talent: ???? Bloodline: Three Immortals Bloodline (Half-Awakened) Physique: ??? (99% Awakened) Realm: Late Stage Dao Domain Lord (Comparable to Earth Immortal Realm, Fourth Layer Lotus) Professions: Alchemist (Master), Formation Master (Peak Artisan), Blacksmithing (Pseudo Saint) Sect: Star Shattering Sect Status: Grand Elder of the Star Shattering Sect Disciples: Qing Yi, Chu Yang, Bai Ning, Mui Pet: Lazy Winged Lion (Peak Ninth Stage Domain Lord Realm), Rabbit Demon Beast (Fourth Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm) Ever since his physique had reached the 99% mark, it had not moved an inch. Making it obvious that he needed to do something to awaken his physique, or he was still too weak to awaken it.

At the same time, his strength that had been comparable to an Earth Immortal with a Third Layer Dao Lotus had also increased to a Fourth Layer Dao Lotus.

Although it seemed like his strength wasn’t comparable to a true Earth Immortal with a Ninth Layer Dao Lotus, he should at least be stronger than someone who had just broken through to the Earth Immortal Realm at this point in time.

Even though he had no idea how strong the lord from the Heavenly Dragon Temple was, he had a feeling that he should be stronger than an Earth Immortal with a Fourth Layer Dao Lotus…

”Even if the other party isn’t a Half Bloom Stage Earth Immortal, it will still be difficult for me to win. Maybe I should check up on Pei Yang and see if he has recovered enough to lend me a hand…” Muttering this to himself as he finished going over his current situation, Xuan Hao stood up and left his cultivation room in the direction of Pei Yang’s courtyard.
