Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Concluding that it would take far too long for them to stay and wait for Gong Cheng to emerge from his secluded cultivation, Xuan Hao and Yi Min didn’t stay in the Blue Shore Kingdom for long, as they left shortly after Yi Min had managed to recover from absorbing the inheritance.

During the process of them leaving, they didn’t see any of the other Earth Immortals of the Blue Shore Kingdom and guessed that they should be occupied with guarding Gong Cheng after he entered secluded cultivation to consolidate and familiarize himself with his new power.

In the end, the only people from the Blue Shore Kingdom that they saw while leaving was the Nascent Soul Realm and Domain Lord Realm Experts busy trying to keep a large number of cultivators below the Nascent Soul Realm from entering the Blue Shore Kingdom at the borders of the kingdom.

Although, they weren’t always successful due to restraining themselves and not using deadly force when dealing with the weaker cultivators. Resulting in some of the weaker cultivators managing to cross the border and enter the Blue Shore Kingdom.

Of course, the majority of the cultivators from outside the Blue Shore Kingdom trying to enter were stopped at the border without even being able to enter. Blocked by the powerful domains of some of the Domain Lords at the border or sent flying into the distance by a Nascent Soul Realm Expert.

As for the ones who managed to successfully enter the Blue Shore Kingdom… They didn’t stay for long, as a group of Nascent Soul Realm Experts roaming the area close to the border would soon find them and kick them out of the Blue Shore Kingdom.

However, even with all of this happening and the fact that they would at most be able to stay inside the Blue Shore Kingdom for a few days, the weaker cultivators from outside the Blue Shore Kingdom kept trying to enter.

The reason for this was rather simple, as Xuan Hao and Yi Min both noticed some of them breaking through to higher realms while leaving the Blue Shore Kingdom.

Due to desolate state of the environment outside the Blue Shore Kingdom, just a day or two inside the Blue Shore Kingdom where the qi between heaven and earth was abundant, would give them a chance to breakthrough their limits and increase their cultivation realm in a short period of time. An opportunity that none of the Core Formation Realm Experts already stagnant in their realm could give up on, as they finally seemed to see a chance to surpass the Core Formation Realm. Especially so after meeting the powerful cultivators from the Blue Shore Kingdom who had already surpassed the Core Formation Realm.

”How odd…”

As Xuan Hao cast one last glance towards the Blue Shore Kingdom and the struggle taking place at the borders of the kingdom, he could not help muttering this to himself as he watched a few old Core Formation Realm cultivators being sent flying into the distance by a Nascent Soul Realm Expert from the Blue Shore Kingdom.

The main he found odd about the situation was the fact that the cultivators from the Blue Shore Kingdom didn’t kill the people trying to rush into their kingdom and merely threw them out, then again, considering the situation of the area around the Blue Shore Kingdom, it could be that they pitied these people and thus allowed them a chance to enter the Blue Shore Kingdom without killing them.

Of course, this situation would not last forever and the Blue Shore Kingdom would undoubtedly start enforcing its borders again in the future, but… At least for now, it looked like the people at the edge of the continent had a chance to possibly overcome the limits of the desolate qi by entering the Blue Shore Kingdom.

Maybe it might even give birth to the first Nascent Soul Realm Expert that could then start helping create a rudimentary qi gathering formation to start enhancing the overall strength of the desolate edge of the continent.

Naturally, this would be far off in the future and was not something that would happen in a few years…

Shaking his head as he thought about the possible future of the desolate edge of the continent, Xuan Hao soon turned away from the Blue Shore Kingdom before once again picking up Yi Min-

”Hiii!?

Who ended up letting out a rather surprised yelp before realizing what was happening, causing no small amount of embarrassment as she did her best to pretend nothing happened while staring at the ground now rapidly passing by below them, while they began making their way back towards the Star Shattering Sect.

…

”They left…?”

At the same time Xuan Hao and YI Min made their way out the forge and left the Blue Shore Kingdom, one of the three Earth Immortal Realm cultivators who had been put in charge of watching over them in case they tried something while Gong Cheng was not around, let out a sigh of relief as he watched the two disappear.

Even if he and the other two Earth Immortals felt confident that Xuan Hao and Yi Min wouldn’t do something considering how well Gong Cheng took care of them, they still worried about them possibly being spies sent by one of the major powers hunting them down and took measures to ensure that nothing could happen.

After all, even if Gong Cheng trusted the two and everything seemed fine on the surface, it would always be better to make sure that nothing ended up happening. Especially considering that the feeling Xuan Hao gave the three of them was rather strange.

Although he seemed like he was in the Earth Immortal Realm, it also felt like he wasn’t in the Earth Immortal Realm, a strange feeling that caused the three of them to guess that Xuan Hao wasn’t revealing his true cultivation realm and had instead been hiding it since he arrived at the Blue Shore Kingdom… And for him to be capable of hiding his cultivation base from them meant that he would at least be someone in later stages of the Earth Immortal Realm. Possibly even the Half Bloom Stage! This was also the reason why some of the three guessed that the Half Bloom cultivation base they had felt a few months earlier was Xuan Hao instead of Gong Cheng.

However, in the end, everything ended up turning out well and Gong Cheng even reached the Half Bloom Stage. Making the Blue Shore Kingdom safe even if the people from the different major powers learnt about their existence.

At the same time, it also somewhat confirmed that Xuan Hao and Yi Min shouldn’t be spies belonging to the different major powers. After all, if they were spies from these major powers, there was no way they would allow Gong Cheng to breakthrough, but at the same time, it might also be because they were too weak to interfere and decided against it…

”As long as they leave, it’s good… Too many strangers are never a good thing…” Muttering this to himself as he kept his attention focused on the direction Xuan Hao and Yi Min had left until their auras disappeared, the Earth Immortal Realm cultivator got up and left in the direction of the main palace where Gong Cheng and the other two Earth Immortals were currently located.

Although Gong Cheng hadn’t told them anything about what had happened inside the forge and how he had managed to suddenly increase his cultivation base by so much. Instead, directly returning to his palace before shutting off all contact with the outside world, the three Earth Immortals of the Blue Shore Kingdom didn’t feel offended by this and instead felt like it was an expected outcome.

After all, in their eyes, Gong Cheng had just gone from the early stages of the Earth Immortal Realm to the Half Bloom Stage in a single step. For him to rush into secluded cultivation for an extended period of time without having time to talk to them was understandable.

The only thing they found weird was the fact that he had decided to stay in the forge for a week after he broke through instead of going directly into secluded cultivation to stabilize his cultivation base and familiarize himself with his new strength, but none of them dared to ask about this for now.

Instead of this, they all gave up on their own cultivation and focused their full attention on guarding Gong Cheng while he was in secluded cultivation, as they understood that this was his weakest point in time and any interruption might end up causing permanent damage, something they wanted to avoid at all costs!

None of them were willing to give up the protection provided by a Half Bloom Stage Earth Immortal, as it would essentially guarantee their safety in the future when faced with the people from the major powers.

Of course, excluding the Celestial Immortals, but they didn’t think experts like that would bother to come all the way to the desolate edge of the continent to try and deal with them. Especially considering they had the Frozen Wasteland blocking the way…

Wah~ Blue Shore Kingdom mini act done for now~
