Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Knowing that this was a hard to come by opportunity, Xuan Hao calmed himself down as he sorted through the many questions, he wanted to ask the old man. From wanting to know more about the Dao Domain Lord Realm and different things about the ancient world that had puzzled him to more simple things related to asking him whether or not he had any books on him related to the Dao of Formations or other profession that he could get.

Although it was rather unlikely for the old man to be carrying around books related to different professions given that he should have come to the Ewaria Continent for the sole purpose of dealing with the seals, Xuan Hao still felt hopeful that he would at least be carrying a few random ones with him that he could have.

After all, the information contained inside a book from a powerful family like the one the old man belonged to would undoubtedly be precious and should be able to help not only him improve but also the rest of the Star Shattering Sect.

”Do you happen to have any books on formations, alchemy or any other profession on you that you don’t need…?” With this in mind, Xuan Hao decided to first ask about the books. Even if it was unlikely, he felt hopeful that the old man would at least have one related to formations on him.

”Books related to professions? Indeed, something like that should be quite useful considering the Saint Realm is the highest realm on this continent…” Frowning as he said this in response, the old man seemed deep in thought for a moment before pulling out a single worn down book from his interspatial ring. ”Unfortunately, I only have a book related to formations on me at the moment. Although it won’t be that useful without first comprehending the Dao of Formations, it does contain some information on the seal and should also be useful if you happen to find a qualified formation master to fix the seal before it breaks.”

Whoosh~

”Thank you, this is better than nothing!” As he grabbed the book sent over by the old man, Xuan Hao beamed with joy as he thanked him before putting away the book in his interspatial ring.

Originally, he had not expected the old man to have any books on him. For there to be even one and for it to be related to the seal was quite a good thing. After all, a book on formations that included the seal in front of him was bound to contain knowledge far beyond just the Sait Realm.

Even if the information in the book was not something he could understand given that he had not even managed to comprehend the Dao of Formations to the Elementary Realm yet, he believed that he should be able to reach this level soon. Maybe the reward from the system quest that was waiting to be claimed would even allow him to directly reach the Elementary Realm in the Dao of Formations.

”Other than that, I also wanted to ask you about the different cultivation realms. Seeing as you shouldn’t be from the Ewaria Continent, I believe you should be far more knowledgeable than me…” Ensuring that he wouldn’t end up losing the book, Xuan Hao turned his attention back towards the old man as he asked this.

”Cultivation realms? I do indeed know a bit…” Showing a slightly surprised expression on his face after hearing Xuan Hao’s question, the old man soon nodded his head in understanding. ”Is there perhaps anything the specific you are thinking about?” ”Yes, I wonder if you have heard about the Dao Domain Lord Realm…” Hearing what the old man said, Xuan Hao decided to take the chance and ask about the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Sharing his knowledge of the realm for the first time since his encounter with the elder from the Mirage Sect.

”Dao Domain Lord Realm!? Don’t tell… Are you perhaps in the Dao Domain Lord Realm…?” Exclaiming loudly as his entire face turned into one filled with disbelief, the old man could no longer remain calm as he asked this.

Not having expected such a reaction from the old man, Xuan Hao could not help hesitating whether or not to answer him truthfully given the shocked reaction. Even without the old man saying anything about the Dao Domain Lord Realm, it was obvious that the realm was far more significant than he had first expected-

However, he also had a feeling that the old man would give him more information if he was in the Dao Domain Lord Realm…

Whoosh~!

”Yes, I’m currently in the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Although only the Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.” In the end, Xuan Hao decided to not show off the fact that he was someone in the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm and instead just released an aura similar to the one he had back when he had been in the Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Nothing too difficult considering he could just release his domain using only a few of his weaker Daos to archive the effect of showcasing a dao domain of an Initial Stage Dao Domain Lord.

Even though he didn’t feel like the old man would become an enemy in the future, he also had a feeling that reaching the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm on the Ewaria Continent in the current state of the continent was a little too much.

After all, the old man would definitely tell his elders about him after he retuned to his family, him being in the Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm might be attributed to the fact that he had managed to encounter an elder from the Mirage Sect. On the other hand, reaching the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm that was hard to reach even in the ancient world might draw unwanted attention from these elders.

It didn’t matter if this would be good or bad for him, he simply didn’t dare to take a gamble considering that the strength of these elders had likely surpassed the Celestial Immortal Realm…

”Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm! Indeed, worthy of someone acknowledged by an ancient sect like the Mirage Sect. Even back home, the number of people in my family who managed to reach the Dao Domain Lord Realm barely exceeds five, with only a single one having reached the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm in the past hundred thousand years!” Nodding his head in acknowledgment as he said this with a look of praise on his face, the old man also leaked a bit information about his family and the fact that they currently had over five people in the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

At the same time, Xuan Hao also felt a sense of surprise after hearing that they had only managed to produce a single person in the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm in the past hundred thousand years.

Indeed… The Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm is hard to reach under normal circumstances… Good thing I didn’t tell him about my true strength or those elders from his family would undoubtedly have tried to drag me back with them the moment they show up…

Thinking this to himself as he saw the excited and proud expression on the old man’s face while mentioning the Late Stage Dao Domain Lord Realm Expert from his family, Xuan Hao felt even more relieved that he didn’t reveal his current cultivation realm to the old man.

”Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm!? How amazing, I hope I can reach it in the future…”

Of course, on the surface, Xuan Hao didn’t say any of this, as he showed an amazed look on his face after hearing the old man mention the Late Stage Dao Domain Lord Realm Expert from his family.

”Hehe, indeed! Although, reaching the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm is far too hard in the current day and age. Even in the ancient world, reaching the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm could be considered the mark of a top genius, let alone now that the situation and resources available have worsened significantly…!” Smiling even more proudly as he said this, the old man seemed to have fully transformed as he bragged about the amazing Late Stage Dao Domain Lord Realm Expert from his family.

”Amazing! I wonder if you could tell me more about the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Especially considering that I don’t really have much of an idea on how to progress beyond the Intermediate Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm at the moment.” Knowing that it would be better to not say anything about the bragging of the old man, Xuan Hao decided to try and steer the conversation towards the Dao Domain Lord Realm itself. Hoping that the old man would tell him more about the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm and more importantly, the Peak of the Dao Domian Lord Realm…
