Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 156, Sister Likes Pure and Honest Ones

Translator: Silavin

As the top ranked Item Panel gradually appeared on the big screen, the clamour in the entire auction house nearly flipped the roof!

Item Panels could not be faked. Since the Prosperous Heaven Auction House could project such an Item Panel on its display, it could only mean that someone from the auction house had seen this Dragon Egg or had contact with its owner!

This was a Dragon Egg! Dragons were the legendary supreme overlords that only existed in Forbidden Areas. A single Giant Dragon was said to be capable of easily destroying a country! Yet, their Egg was now being presented on this huge display!

Rumour had it that a single Dragon Scale could be made into an Epic Grade armour. A single Dragon Fang could be made into an Epic Grade weapon. As for Dragon Meat and Dragon Blood, they were unparalleled materials for crafting.

Moreover, the Dragon Race possessed unparalleled Combat Power!

Such a Dragon Egg, forget about someone being able to tame the Giant Dragon inside, even if it hatched and got killed, it would be a fortune rivalling that of an entire country!

But who would have the heart to kill such a being?

The value of this Dragon Egg simply could not be measured in money! Ten, or even a hundred Epic or Mythical Grade Items could not possibly compare to it!

Now, everyone there naturally wondered, [How in the world did the Prosperous Heaven Auction House get such an Item Panel?]

Everyone went crazy. Many self-proclaimed wealthy individuals rushed to the auction house staff, asking where this Item Panel came from and if there were any intentions to auction the actual item. If so, they were more than willing to spend their entire fortune to buy it!

More people excitedly rushed out of the auction house doors, wanting to call all their relatives and friends to come and broaden their horizons.

In this lifetime, even if they could not see a real Giant Dragon or a real Dragon Egg, they at least could see a Item Panel of a Dragon Egg!

Seeing the entire auction house thrown into chaos with the appearance of the Dragon Egg Item Panel, Lu Fan was both amused and embarrassed. [Dragons are truly the untouchables. On par with deities. Just an Item Panel of a Dragon Egg can cause such a sensation. I guess this is the effect Du Yaqiu had hoped to see.]

[She must have offered to let me choose any item from the auction house each month because she knew of the aftermath. What she offered is no small expense for her auction house, after all. But, it seems like this expense is truly worth it! With just this Dragon Egg Item Panel alone, the Prosperous Heaven Auction House will become the focus of attention throughout Dragon Capital for some time to come. The amount of advertisement is definitely not something that can be exchanged for one auction item per month.]

Du Yaqiu knew that the young man before her not only had a Giant Dragon that could make everyone go crazy with just an Item Panel, but two of them. Thus, she was much more respectful towards Lu Fan than at the beginning.

All the way to the door, Du Yaqiu dared not go back, insisting on seeing them off further.

With no choice, Lu Fan and the Senior Sister left side by side, quickly arriving at the Senior Sister’s motorcycle.

After stopping, the Senior Sister turned around, looked Lu Fan up and down, her face particularly delighted as she stated. “You stinking rascal. I really couldn’t tell you’ve been hiding so much. Besides that Black Dragon, you actually have another Dragon… wait, what Level are you right now?”

The Senior Sister’s expression changed, as if remembering something… her suddenly becoming solemn.

Lu Fan honestly reported that he had just reached level 30, and had just returned from the Profession Change Hall when they met.

“Level 30 already!? You’re Levelling Up really fast…” The Senior Sister sighed, not even asking about Lu Fan’s Second Profession Change. However, she frowned as she analysed: “At level 30, you should have three Pet Slots, right. You had two Pet Slots before, so even with one Black Dragon, you should still have one empty Pet Slot…”

“So, why did you have that Dragon Egg earlier but didn’t hatch it? Oh wait a minute…” The Senior Sister, being very sharp, immediately understood. Her expression drastically changed as she looked at Lu Fan like he was a freak of nature. “You… don’t tell me you have more than two Dragons, that you have three!? You had two Pet Slots before. No way you wouldn’t have used them. It must be that the third Dragon Egg couldn’t be hatched!?”

Seeing that the Senior Sister had deduced Xiao Cui’s existence, Lu Fan simply nodded and admitted. “En, that Dragon Egg from earlier is actually going to be my third Pet Dragon. Besides the Black Dragon, I have another Dragon.”

“You really have three Dragons!?” Although she had guessed it, when Lu Fan personally admitted it, the impact of this fact made her, who was well-informed and experienced, feel a bit dizzy.

“My goodness… you… you’re really a monster… Dragons are comparable to deities. Some people spend their entire lives trying to uncover the existence of the Dragon Race in Forbidden Areas, all to no avail. But you, as a Dragon Tamer, not only obtained a Pet Dragon, but actually have three of them…”

The Senior Sister kept marvelling, but she did not ask where Lu Fan’s Dragons came from. She was very smart and knew where Lu Fan’s bottom line was.

After a long while, the shock on her face gradually turned into a smile, and a very mischievous one at that.

Seeing this, Lu Fan was a bit confused. He reached out and touched her forehead, asking, “Senior Sister, you… are you not feeling well?”

“Get off me. Did you think you could scare me silly just because you have three Dragons? Your Senior Sister isn’t that inexperienced!” Senior Sister swatted away Lu Fan’s hand, giving him a sidelong glance before saying, “I was just thinking about how the Special Envoy, who’s coming to check if you’re qualified for the National Trial, would react if he knew you have three Dragons.”

“You probably don’t know the full details yet, but I’ve received news that the Special Envoy assessing your qualification this time also has some history with you. His name is Ruan Changfeng. He was the person in charge of receiving Princess Jin from Extremistis Country. He was the one from the Moderate Faction who advocated for severe punishment to be inflicted on you after you beat Jin Zhu.”

“Him?” Lu Fan sharply raised an eyebrow upon hearing this. He had heard that because of this man’s handling of the matter, he had been heavily punished by Tu Jing, demoted by three ranks.

Unexpectedly, after being demoted three ranks, he now had the opportunity to serve as the Special Envoy to check if Lu Fan was qualified to participate in the National Trial!

[This is truly a case of enemies always meeting…]

At this point, the Senior Sister continued with a smile. “Actually, I was quite worried that he might target you. The reason I brought you here to buy the No Level Requirement Enchantment Scroll was to make sure you are strong enough to deal with him. But now, it seems like that might not have been necessary. With you having three Dragons, I feel like if Ruan Changfeng wants to make things difficult… he might be the one who ends up in a horrendous situation…”

Hearing this, Lu Fan smiled. “Senior Sister, do you know what’s his Level?”

The Senior Sister said. “Should be level 76. He definitely already underwent his Third Profession Change.”

“Level 76…” Lu Fan’s smile deepened, “Then, he’d better pray he doesn’t cause any trouble. Otherwise, he really won’t have a good time.”

“Haha.” The Senior Sister also laughed. “Hearing you say that, I actually hope he does try to make things difficult for you. If that day really comes, don’t hold back. As long as you don’t beat him to death, it will be fine. If you really want to, just make sure to beat him within an inch of his life.”

As she spoke, the Senior Sister even waved her little fist. Combined with her mature appearance, it had an indescribable cuteness to it.

By now, it was late, and Lu Fan naturally wanted to hurry back to Dragon Capital University.

Originally, Lu Fan had already gotten on her motorcycle, but Senior Sister mischievously stopped him from getting on. With a naughty smile, she opened her arms to Lu Fan and asked, “Didn’t you just equip your Flying Dragon King’s Bone Wings? You can soar in the sky now. Why are you still running on the ground? How about you let me experience what flying feels like? I brought you here, so you take me back. Fair and square.”

Looking at the imposing Senior Sister acting coquettishly, Lu Fan thought for a moment. With the intention of fulfilling her wish, he directly picked her up by the waist.

The Flying Dragon King’s Bone Wings’ were unveiled. Lu Fan flapped his wings once, and with a cry of surprise from her, the two soared into the sky.

Because Lu Fan’s Agility Attribute was quite high, they were flying really fast.

In Dragon Capital’s city area, many people saw a blur pass through high in the sky, traversing the dark night towards Dragon Capital University.

This did not cause too much panic among the citizens though. After all, some Knights with Sky Mounts, or High Level Mages had the ability to fly.

At first, Lu Fan was not very skilled at flying. But, by the time they reached Dragon Capital University, he could basically use the Flying Dragon King’s Bone Wings like it was a part of his body. He could now freely manoeuvre in the air with ease.

Finally, under the Senior Sister’s direction, Lu Fan sent her near the teachers’ dormitory building.

When she got down from Lu Fan’s arms, she smoothen her slightly dishevelled hair. Because night had fallen, Lu Fan could not clearly see the expression on her face.

“Alright, it’s late. I told those women in your villa that you’d return early and in one piece. Since we are already here, you can just leave me and go back.”

This place was not far from the female teachers’ dormitory. Lu Fan did not think much of it and bid his farewell before flapping his wings again to fly towards Villa No. 1.

After Lu Fan’s figure disappeared into the night, the Senior Sister touched her slightly hot cheeks and softly muttered: “This rascal is quite honest, isn’t he? If it was any other man, they’d probably insist on coming upstairs to sit for a while. Not bad, not bad. Sister likes pure and honest ones.”

After saying this, she lightly tapped her foot, and her clothes rose without wind. It was as if a large hand was gently supporting her body as she flew towards another part of Dragon Capital University.

If Lu Fan was there, he would certainly curse her for cheating his feelings, ‘You said you couldn’t fly, but how are you suddenly able to take off!?’

Lu Fan naturally did not have the mind to secretly spy on whether she really had the ability to fly. He was more than happy to immediately return. After all, once he got back to the villa, he could hatch his third Pet Dragon – the Starry Sky Dragon King.
