Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 347: Chapter 346: Eat More Pork Brain to Nourish

And so, after exchanging flirtations and playful insults for a while, Xiao Haimie restarted the engine, ready to head back to the school.

However, as they drove onto the tree-lined road, Ye Haochuan suddenly felt a lingering unease. Glancing in the rearview mirror, he was startled to find a sedan following them calmly and steadily.

At first, he thought that the car was merely sharing the route with him, but after several observations, he realized that things weren’t so simple, especially when he recognized a somewhat familiar face in the passenger seat—the unease in his heart grew sharper.

That familiar face was none other than He Feng, the Hellfire disciple he had encountered at the Global Building and who had later escaped.

”Sister Mei, we’re being followed. You drive back to school first; I’ll handle the trouble,” Ye Haochuan said gravely.

”We’re being followed?” Xiao Haimie was momentarily confused.

Ye Haochuan nodded: ”Mhm.”

”Strange, who would bother following us?” Xiao Haimie couldn’t figure it out.

”They’re my enemies,” Ye Haochuan promptly explained the encounter with the man and woman at the Global Building, then said, ”They’re with Hellfire. I killed that man surnamed Zhou, and the woman escaped. Now, she’s come back with reinforcements, definitely seeking revenge.”

”So, it’s them,” Xiao Haimie realized, but soon she began to worry, ”Hellfire has a notorious reputation. I’ve heard about it from grandpa. They have always been at odds with the Ancient Martial Arts Sects. Now that they’re targeting you, you must be careful.”

”Haha, don’t worry about me,” Ye Haochuan laughed heartily. ”I have observed them just now. The man with He Feng might have higher cultivation than me, but we are both in the Postnatal Realm. It’s not without hope that I can deal with him.”

”Really?” Xiao Haimie asked.

”Of course,” Ye Haochuan said with confidence. ”When have I ever lied to you?”

Xiao Haimie was somewhat reassured, then she said, ”Then, should I stay here and wait for you?”

Ye Haochuan shook his head: ”That’s not appropriate. If you stay, it may distract me. If they decide to capture you and use you as leverage, it would put me at an even greater disadvantage. It’s better if you leave first, that way I can fight them without holding back.”

Upon hearing this, Xiao Haimie reluctantly nodded in agreement, then pulled the car over to the side of the road.

Ye Haochuan then jumped out of the car.

As Xiao Haimie floored the accelerator, leaving in a cloud of dust, Ye Haochuan was left alone to face the pursuers.

No sooner had Xiao Haimie driven away than the sedan behind them roared forward, aiming to crush Ye Haochuan with a fierce impact.

Ye Haochuan remained calm, unleashing the technique Dragon Emerging from the Sea. In an instant, powerful True Qi whipped up the dust off the ground and thundered out.

”Senior Brother Feng, be careful!” Inside the car, He Feng was shocked by the sudden attack.

But Senior Brother Feng kept his composure, sharply turning the steering wheel while slamming on the brakes, narrowly avoiding the fierce onslaught.

Yet even so, the car’s trunk lid was still torn open by the formidable True Qi.

”Good lad, this skill... at least the power of the Postnatal Late Stage,” Senior Brother Feng said in astonishment, then with a somber face, ”Junior Sister He, get out of the car.”

Still unsettled, Junior Sister He hurriedly opened the door and got out of the car upon hearing his command.

Seeing the calm and composed Ye Haochuan opposite her, He Feng’s eyes seemed ready to shoot fire as she rebuked, ”Ye Haochuan, you treacherous, thousand-cut traitor, after killing my Senior Brother Zhou, now that I’ve invited Senior Brother Feng, today I want to see just what end you will meet.”

”End?” Ye Haochuan laughed, ”Shouldn’t I be the one to say that to you two?”

”Ignorant fool!” He Feng, furious, was about to make a move but was stopped by Senior Brother Feng.

”Junior Sister He, you’re not his match, be patient and don’t be rash.” Senior Brother Feng gestured with his hand and said.

He Feng obediently said ”Oh,” and stepped back.

It was then that Senior Brother Feng’s eyes hardened with a murderous intent and he snorted, ”Ye Haochuan, you traitor, how dare you commit fratricide, killing my Junior Brother Zhou. Speak, who gave you such audacity? And, our Hellfire branch in Haishan was wiped out, all the brothers and sisters from the branch met their untimely deaths, you wouldn’t be unaware of the inside story, would you?”

”Fratricide?” Ye Haochuan chuckled dryly, ”You really can’t come up with anything better, can you? Don’t tell me you really think I belong to your Hellfire?”

Both Senior Brother Feng and He Feng were taken aback, clearly surprised.

”Sigh, I’m really anxious about your intelligence, actually believing that I’m one of you from Hellfire. If you ask me, you should go back and eat more pig brains to nourish yours,” Ye Haochuan said with a sneer.

”You brat, courting death!” This time, Senior Brother Feng could no longer restrain himself, he swung his hand and made a move directly.

In an instant, a powerful aura burst forth from his body. He then leaped, closing the distance between them like lightning. At the same time, his massive fist tore through the air, making a thunderous noise, and aimed straight for Ye Haochuan’s head.

”Damn!”

Ye Haochuan was startled and hastily retreated, while also launching a Nine Tyrant Dragons Fist directly at the opponent.

”Ha-ha! Petty skills dare to show off before me, Feng Qingyang?” Senior Brother Feng let out a long howl, full of breath, moved quickly, incredibly so, just managing to dodge Ye Haochuan’s fierce strike while shouting, ”Fierce Flame Palm!”

All of a sudden, his palm turned bright red, and then with a puff, flames sprang forth, quickly engulfing into a roaring fierce flame, covering Ye Haochuan.

Because everything happened so fast, by the time Ye Haochuan reacted, the flames had already reached his chest, burning a big hole in his clothes. If it weren’t for his timely use of the Extreme Ice Cotton Palm, and the icy True Qi extinguishing the fire, he would have been in an even more awkward state.

”Interesting, very interesting!” Feng Qingyang clapped his hands, his face showing great excitement, ”I didn’t expect you, kid, to have learned the Extreme Ice Cotton Palm. Now I really want to take a good look.”

After that, the two of them engaged in back-and-forth combat.

Although the Extreme Ice Cotton Palm was powerful, Ye Haochuan was after all only at the Postnatal Late Stage, while the opponent’s strength was clearly at the Postnatal Peak; his Cultivation was still inferior to the opponent’s.

In addition, the Fierce Flame Palm itself was the unique skill of Hellfire. Although it was not a top-grade Technique, it was also not to be underestimated.

Therefore, as the two fought, neither could gain the upper hand over the other, and neither could do anything to the other.

”Senior Brother Feng, let me help you!” Suddenly, He Feng, who had been watching the battle, made her move.

Ye Haochuan was immediately under increased pressure and began to struggle to cope.

Damn it, two against one, think that’s fun, huh? I’ll show you!

Ye Haochuan steeled his heart and drew the Ice Soul Sword, sweeping it around him. In an instant, a piercing cold light shone brightly, drastically dropping the surrounding temperature, bone-chilling to the core.
