Chapter 303: Chapter 302 Killing Guan Qiang

As Ye Haochuan was harboring doubts, Huo Mengyao suddenly spoke up coldly, ”Guan Qiang, please stop mentioning the Alliance Hierarch at every turn. I, Huo Mengyao, have nothing to do with him. I don’t like him at all. Who I am with is none of his business, so why should he be angry or not?”

”What?” Guan Qiang’s face changed visibly, apparently not expecting the once obedient Junior Sister Huo to have transformed so drastically.

What surprised him even more was that this Junior Sister Huo was now directly calling him by his name, no longer addressing him respectfully as Senior Brother Guan.

At this moment, Ye Haochuan was full of smug satisfaction. He had never imagined that by mere chance, he would pick up a woman throwing herself at him. Damn, that felt good!

It seemed that, when it came to dealing with women, a man really needed to be ruthless sometimes, to ”take the day” then talk later, to cook the raw rice into cooked rice, hehe.

”Guan Qiang, do I need to spell it out more clearly? I have never liked your Sun Moon Alliance’s Alliance Hierarch Duanmu Xiang from the very beginning. It has always been his one-sided wishful thinking,” Huo Mengyao snorted.

Guan Qiang’s expression turned sour as he glared at Ye Haochuan, saying in a deep voice, ”Is it because of this kid that you’ve shifted your affection away from our Alliance Hierarch?”

Huo Mengyao coldly responded, ”What if it is? What if it isn’t?”

”Damn, you ungrateful woman, spurning the face offered to you! Our Alliance Hierarch has been wholeheartedly devoted to you, even telling me to take good care of you. And look at you now, betraying our Alliance Hierarch. Just you wait; I’m going to contact him right now...”

As Guan Qiang spoke, he pulled out his phone, about to contact the Alliance Hierarch. However, at that moment, Ye Haochuan’s icy voice came through, ”What, Mr. Guan, do you think you still have a life with which to contact your Alliance Hierarch?”

Guan Qiang’s complexion changed, ”You want to kill me?”

”Correct!” Ye Haochuan said indifferently.

Guan Qiang burst into laughter, ”Ye Haochuan, oh Ye Haochuan, what grand delusions you have. Do you think that just because you have the Ice Soul Sword, you can kill me?”

Ye Haochuan shook his head lightly and spoke calmly, ”Just now I was at the Postnatal Mid-Stage, and killing you would indeed have been difficult, but now, I’ve reached the Postnatal Late Stage. With Mengyao’s help, killing you is more than feasible.”

”Ah!” Guan Qiang’s face showed great alarm.

How could he have expected that in such a short time, Ye Haochuan had broken through to the Postnatal Mid-Stage? How did this kid do it? Could this kid be a genius?

While he was at a loss, Ye Haochuan suddenly let out a loud shout, thrust the Ice Soul Sword forward, transforming it into a dragon surging ahead, and at the same time, slashed out three swift swords towards Guan Qiang.

Indeed being at the Postnatal Late Stage, the True Qi inside Ye Haochuan’s body was even more vigorous and pure, and the power of the Ice Soul Sword had also become much more formidable than before. Where the Sword Qi passed, the temperature in the vicinity plummeted, and snowflakes began to whirl around.

Having previously experienced the might of the Ice Soul Sword, Guan Qiang knew too well that even a slight touch was unbearable, prompting him to hastily dodge!

At that moment, however, a sharp yell pierced the air, ”Nine Continuous Arrows!”

Guan Qiang’s face changed and he turned his head to see that Huo Mengyao had bent her bow, loading it and firing nine Fire Thunder Arrows in one breath, her target, shockingly, was him!

”Adulterer and slut!” Guan Qiang bellowed relentlessly, his breath icy, his eyes filled with a thick murderous intent.

”What did you say?” Ye Haochuan raged, unable to bear having such words directed at him.

Taking advantage of Guan Qiang’s moment of indecision, his Ice Soul Sword once again shone brightly, and with a whoosh, he hurled it towards him.

This time, putting forth his full strength, the Ice Soul Sword’s power surged, and the bone-chilling Sword Qi instantly enveloped Guan Qiang.

Suddenly, Guan Qiang’s entire body was frozen into an ice stick, his surface covered with an inch-thick layer of ice.

The might of a single sword, so formidable!

However, Guan Qiang was indeed no ordinary man; he urgently circulated his Qi to counter it, and the ice layer began to crack open.

”Extreme Ice Cotton Palm!”

Ye Haochuan fiercely pressed his palm against the icy layer, the cold Qi growing more intense. Soon, the cracked fissures rapidly filled with cold, hardening ice, making the ice layer increasingly thick.

”Ye Haochuan, you dream of completely freezing me? Bastard, I won’t let you succeed!”

Guan Qiang roared in anger, suddenly contracting his True Qi before explosively releasing it, aiming to break through the ice layer. In no time, the ice layer crackled open once again, then burst upward, sending large chunks of ice scattering thunderously around.

Damn it! This Guan fellow is way too strong!

Seeing this, Ye Haochuan dared not delay and, brandishing the Ice Soul Sword, stabbed viciously towards his opponent’s chest.

Thud!

The Ice Soul Sword pierced Guan Qiang’s left chest, his pupils shrinking abruptly as the bone-chilling cold Qi invaded his body, causing his teeth to chatter uncontrollably.

”Ye Haochuan, you and I will never coexist! ... Autumn Wind Falling Leaves Palm!”

Guan Qiang, unable to suppress his fury, suddenly pushed a palm strike towards Ye Haochuan. The move seemed slow but carried overwhelming might, sweeping through like an autumn wind sweeping the fallen leaves!

Caught off guard, Ye Haochuan was directly hit, sent floating back as if weightless, while blood gushed from his mouth.

Following this, Guan Qiang pulled out the Ice Soul Sword, and the frostbite injury on his body eased slightly.

Looking at the Ice Soul Sword in his hands, Guan Qiang’s eyes sparkled with joy; he laughed maniacally, ”Hahaha, the Ice Soul Sword, the Ice Soul Sword is finally mine! With it, I can enter the Sub-Fire Elemental Realm and seize countless treasures...”

However, at this moment, he suddenly felt a trace of spirit branding within the Ice Soul Sword.

”Fine then, Ye Haochuan. Now that you’ve lost the Ice Soul Sword, you’re like a tiger without teeth to me. What have I to fear from you now? Hmph, once I’ve killed you and the Spirit of Blood inside the Ice Soul Sword vanishes, I’ll just need to drip my blood on this sword, and it will completely become mine. By then... uh!”

Caught up in his conceit, Guan Qiang was hit in the back by an arrow!

But this was no ordinary arrow; it was Huo Mengyao’s Fire Thunder Arrow!

Consequently, a fierce explosion followed, shredding the flesh on Guan Qiang’s back, and sparks flew everywhere as he burst into flames all over his body.

”Ah! Ah! Ah...”

Guan Qiang screamed incessantly, turning around with bloodshot eyes to stare vehemently at Huo Mengyao, who had shot him with the silent arrow, and shouted resentfully, ”You treacherous woman, I treated you like a younger sister, cherished and protected you, and yet you dared shoot me with a silent arrow!”

”Hmph, Guan, don’t think I didn’t know what you were up to. You claimed to cherish and protect me, but it was all a sham, clearly intending to monitor me for Duanmu Xiang. Any man who got to know me was driven away by you or even threatened. There was a senior brother I was particularly close to, and you actually killed him secretly! Today, I will avenge him!”

Huo Mengyao, seething with anger, drew her longbow and notched an arrow again, but this time, Guan Qiang was on guard and promptly dodged away.

However, he had not anticipated that while he played the mantis stalking the cicada, Ye Haochuan had been watching him all along, and took advantage of the moment Guan Qiang dodged to suddenly brandish the Silver Snake Sword. With a flick of his wrist, he commanded, ”Go!”

The Silver Snake Sword instantly erupted with Sword Qi that filled the sky, whistling sharply as it pierced through Guan Qiang, leaving him chillingly cold inside!

Immediately after, Guan Qiang thudded to the ground, his eyes filled with unwillingness, his body convulsed incessantly, and quickly, he breathed no more.

”Guan Qiang, Guan Qiang, your evil deeds have come to an end, this retribution is well-deserved!” Huo Mengyao looked indifferently at Guan Qiang’s body, put away her golden longbow, and sneered.

At this time, Ye Haochuan struggled to his feet, groaning with pain, and staggered over. Huo Mengyao quickly supported him.

Ye Haochuan waved his hand to indicate he was alright, then suddenly noted the many injured from Guan Qiang’s side on the ground. He had an idea and said to Huo Mengyao, ”Mengyao, what do you think we should do with these people?”
