Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 330: Chapter 329 Blood Oath

Actually, Ye Haochuan was indeed a bit excited about the Netherworld Sect’s Ghost Escape Technique, even hoping that he could learn it.

In his view, although the Ghost Escape Technique of the Netherworld Sect was somewhat malicious, founded on the absorption of countless people’s Essence Qi, it indeed had its unique aspects.

Just think, if he could learn this secret technique, how awesome that would be, practically comparable to the legendary Invisibility Technique.

However, to the masters of the Martial Arts Path Realm, this Ghost Escape Technique was hardly worth mentioning, and they could easily detect its trace.

But in the secular world, this secret technique would be incredibly awesome.

Just imagine, how could ordinary people easily detect it?

Once he were to learn this secret technique, wouldn’t it be more convenient for him to peek at beauties?

With this thought, Haochuan was reluctant to let go of that wisp of black smoke and quickly gave chase.

The black smoke was escaping fast, but Ye Haochuan was not someone to be easily shaken off, especially since he was using his Perspective Eyes all the way, which allowed him to easily see the black smoke no matter where it hid.

However, he did not pursue too closely. According to the memory passed down to him by the Holy Hand, the disciples of the Netherworld Sect had to allow at least one hour for the soul to return to its original body after using the Ghost Escape Technique; otherwise, the soul would dissipate.

Of course, the higher the cultivation, the longer the soul could last separated from the body.

Clearly, the cultivation of that black shadow was very low, probably just at the Postnatal Early Stage, making it difficult to endure for too long.

Ye Haochuan chased relentlessly, and finally, he pursued the shadow to a residential area where the black shadow darted into one of the households in an apartment building and suddenly disappeared.

With a chill in his heart, Ye Haochuan knew that the owner of this household was very likely to be the physical host of that black shadow.

Immediately, he rushed up the stairs, activated his True Qi, opened the anti-theft door of that household, and walked in with caution.

Yet, just as he stepped through the door, a gust of wind attacked him. Ye Haochuan’s heart tightened, and turning his head, he saw an individual about the same height as Taoist Master Tianxuan lunging at him.

Ye Haochuan countered on the spot with his Nine Tyrant Dragons Fist.

Whoo!

Strong and domineering True Qi swept out from his palm, causing the other person not to dare to confront it directly, but instead rapidly retreat.

Ye Haochuan could see clearly that this individual was much more agile than Master Tianxuan had been, confirming this was indeed his true self.

”Mr. Ye, we don’t have a deep hatred, why are you relentlessly pursuing me?” the person spoke up.

Only then did Ye Haochuan slightly draw back, his gaze falling upon the man, who had a square face, pale skin, and eyes filled with deep hatred.

”You are a disciple of the Netherworld Sect, you have committed so many atrocities, you deserve death by the hands of everyone. If I don’t eliminate you, wouldn’t that allow you to harm even more innocent people?” Ye Haochuan said coldly.

”When have I, Master Tianxuan, ever harmed innocent people?” the man defensively said, ”It’s true that I am a disciple of the Netherworld Sect, but I have not killed people at will. Look at the couple, Liu Weiguo. Aren’t they still living well? Yes, I did absorb their Essence Qi, but the absorption was limited. Otherwise, they would have died long ago.”

So his name was still Master Tianxuan.

Ye Haochuan nodded silently to himself, although he agreed with what the other had said, Ye Haochuan had no fondness for the Netherworld Sect, and snorted, ”Enough with the talk, leaving aside the matter of Liu Weiguo and his wife for now, why did you take away Liu Jiajia’s soul?”

”I was entrusted by others, loyal to their request. Since Liu Weiguo and his wife had sought me out, even going so far as to exchange their own Essence Qi, how could I refuse? Besides, Liu Jiajia caused the death of her cousin in the past, and it’s only fair for her to receive some punishment. I haven’t killed her, so how can I be accused of committing atrocities and harming innocent people?”

Master Tianxuan clenched his teeth as he spoke.

”So I am supposed to see you as a good person now?” scoffed Ye Haochuan.

”So by your logic, do you have to kill me?” Master Tianxuan said with a dark tone.

Ye Haochuan’s eyes spun, and he snorted, ”Not killing you is fine, but you ought to leave something behind as a price, right?”

Master Tianxuan’s expression relaxed as he said, ”What do you want me to leave behind in order to spare me?”

Ye Haochuan smirked slyly, ”There are many things I want, it just depends on what you have.”

After thinking for a moment, Master Tianxuan summoned a large pile of items with a wave of his hand. They were only weapons, equipment, and pills, without any Technique Manuals.

Ye Haochuan glanced over them and looked unimpressed, ”It’s all trash.”

”Let’s be clear, hand over your Ghost Escape Technique Manual, and maybe I’ll spare your dog life,” Ye Haochuan said sternly.

”You want to learn the Ghost Escape Technique?” Master Tianxuan paused, ”Aren’t you a disciple from a righteous sect? Aren’t you afraid of being executed by your own people for learning such a technique?”

”Haha, that’s for me to worry about,” Ye Haochuan laughed loudly, ”I’m just curious about what’s so profound about your Netherworld Sect’s Ghost Escape Technique. I have no intention of actually cultivating such deviant arts.”

Indeed, he had no intention of cultivating the Ghost Escape Technique. However, he wanted to understand its mysteries and see if he could develop a new Ghost Escape Technique of his own.

Master Tianxuan was internally conflicted for a while before he finally said, ”If I tell you about the Ghost Escape Technique, will you really not kill me?”

”No problem.” Ye Haochuan chuckled inwardly.

”Then make a Blood Oath.” Master Tianxuan was still a bit uneasy.

”A Blood Oath?” Ye Haochuan frowned.

In the Martial Arts Path Realm, a Blood Oath was an incredibly imposing pledge. Once made, if one were to break it, the consequences would be dire and inevitable.

However, a Blood Oath wouldn’t work for ordinary people without chanting the correct talisman, which would then activate its effects.

Luckily, not long ago, Ye Haochuan had obtained the Compendium of Talisman Spells and had learned it, so making a Blood Oath wouldn’t be difficult.

”That’s right, only if you take a Blood Oath will I believe you,” Master Tianxuan insisted, for the sake of his life.

Damn, this guy is really cautious, but it’s a pity this trick won’t work against me, little master!

Ye Haochuan’s eyes whirled, and a plan came to mind as he said, ”Alright, I’ll make a Blood Oath now.”

Biting his finger, Ye Haochuan flicked his hand fiercely, and droplets of fresh blood immediately flowed from his fingertips, floating in mid-air before fluttering down slowly.

Ye Haochuan immediately began to chant, and in a little while, those droplets of blood in mid-air coagulated into a blob, then slowly expanded into a bubble-like blood bubble.

”I, Ye Haochuan, hereby make a Blood Oath. As soon as Master Tianxuan fully reveals the secrets of the Ghost Escape Technique, I will not kill him. If I violate this oath, let me be punished by heaven and earth!”

The blood bubble immediately burst, turning into a mist of blood, which gradually dissipated.

”The Blood Oath is made. Now speak,” Ye Haochuan said.

It was then that Master Tianxuan finally breathed a sigh of relief and, according to Ye Haochuan’s request, wrote out the Cultivation Mantra of the Ghost Escape Technique.

Ye Haochuan, of course, was no fool. After multiple verifications, even having Master Tianxuan recite the Cultivation Mantra on the spot, he suddenly used Dragon Claw Thousands of Miles to grab him once he confirmed it was correct.

Master Tianxuan’s complexion changed on the spot as he struggled, ”You... You’re going back on your word?”

Ye Haochuan laughed, ”The Blood Oath I took was not to kill you, but I said nothing about not imprisoning you. Alas, with your intellect, you should eat more pig brains to smarten up.”

Having said that, he reached out and swiftly pressed several acupoints on Master Tianxuan’s body, leaving him completely immobilized on the spot.
