Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 335: Chapter 334: I Can’t Afford It?

Ye Haochuan turned his head and saw a female clerk with thick makeup, looking quite arrogant, approaching him with an unmistakable expression of displeasure on her face.

Frowning, Ye Haochuan said indignantly, ”This is a women’s clothing store that sells clothes. Aren’t customers supposed to try them on? Who would buy without trying them on?”

The arrogant clerk sized him up and, seeing his simple attire which made him appear like an ordinary person, immediately displayed a disdainful expression, ”True, our clothes can be tried on, but they are intended for customers who have the purchasing power. The clothes here start from tens of thousands, are you sure you can afford them?”

”What did you say?” Ye Haochuan’s anger flared up.

”Forget it, Brother Ye, the clothes in this store are too expensive. Let’s look somewhere else,” Han Xue’er hastily suggested.

”I’ve bought clothes worth hundreds of thousands and even millions at Global Building before. This is just a mere ten thousand or so. What’s that to me?” Ye Haochuan waved his hand dismissively at Han Xue’er, his spirit soaring, ”Don’t mind her. Xue’er, just go and try them on.”

Hearing that he had bought clothes worth tens of thousands to millions at Global Building, the arrogant clerk was secretly shocked. Global Building, after all, was a place for high-end shopping.

But after taking a good look at Ye Haochuan and Han Xue’er again and seeing their ordinary clothes, the arrogant clerk immediately decided that this guy was just putting on airs.

With that thought, the arrogant clerk scoffed mockingly, ”You, buying clothes worth tens of thousands to millions at Global Building?”

This time, before Ye Haochuan could explode, Han Xue’er said displeased, ”How can you be so rude?”

”Rude?” The clerk raised her voice, ”Who exactly is rude? If you can’t afford it, don’t come here making a fool of yourself, huh. I have seen plenty of you paupers,” snorted the clerk.

Ye Haochuan couldn’t stand it any longer. This arrogant clerk was too presumptuous. He pulled a face and demanded in a stern voice, ”Who is the manager of this store? Call him for me.”

”Our manager isn’t someone you can just demand to see. Why don’t you take a look at yourself in the mirror? Are you buying or not? If not, get out now!” the arrogant clerk said defiantly.

Ye Haochuan was furious. He was about to throw a handful of bills from the storage ring at her face when a middle-aged boss in gaudy attire approached them, looking utterly arrogant, ”What’s going on?”

”Boss, you’re here.” The arrogant clerk suddenly cooed, clinging to the middle-aged boss’s arm, ”Boss, these two paupers can’t afford the clothes but still want to try them on. Our store’s clothes are all branded high-end goods. If they damage or soil them, how can we sell them?”

The middle-aged boss was bewildered by her flattering words.

After glancing at Ye Haochuan and Han Xue’er, he was about to lose his temper, but as soon as his gaze fell on Han Xue’er, his eyes lit up, admiring how pure and charming she was.

Suddenly, his attitude changed completely, his face turning pleasant. He lectured the clerk, ”I’ve told you many times, the customer is always right. You need to improve your service attitude, understand?”

The arrogant clerk was stunned, not understanding why her usually indulgent boss was suddenly turning against her.

But she knew better than to talk back in front of her boss and wisely shut her mouth.

”Beauty, what kind of clothes do you like? Feel free to pick whatever you want. If this poor guy can’t afford it, I’ll give it to you,” the middle-aged boss said lewdly, making no attempt to hide his intentions as he gazed at Han Xue’er.

Ye Haochuan was livid. Damn it, this old guy dared to hit on his woman right in front of him!

”What did you just say? I can’t afford it?”

Ye Haochuan was about to lose his temper when Han Xue’er quickly pulled at him, fearing he would make a big scene.

The middle-aged boss said coldly, ”You can afford it? Where’s the money? Kid, let me tell you, this society is just that realistic. If you don’t have money, don’t come out here and bullshit, otherwise people will laugh at you.”

As he spoke, he flattered Han Xue’er, ”Beauty, I advise you to ditch this pauper and follow me. I own several stores in Haishan, and all of them could be yours, not to mention the several villas under my name... I could transfer them to yours...”

Before he could finish, Ye Haochuan suddenly slapped stack after stack of cash onto the nearby cashier desk.

The middle-aged boss and the arrogant female clerk’s faces changed simultaneously, both thinking: Where did this pauper get so much money? There must be hundreds of thousands at least! And how was he carrying it on him?

”Xue’er, go pick out some clothes you like!” Ye Haochuan gave Han Xue’er a meaningful glance.

Actually, Han Xue’er had also been holding back her anger just now. Seeing the middle-aged boss and the female clerk embarrassed, she felt immensely relieved and nodded, then went to choose.

At this moment, the middle-aged boss finally realized that Ye Haochuan was not someone to offend and hurriedly apologized, ”Sorry, sorry, it was all a misunderstanding, a misunderstanding. Please, let’s not be petty, forgive me...”

”And her...” Ye Haochuan sneered at the female clerk.

”You blind thing, aren’t you going to apologize quickly?” the middle-aged boss glared at the female clerk severely.

The female clerk dared not argue back and quickly said reverently, ”I’m sorry, I’m sorry...”

Ye Haochuan snorted, too lazy to bother with her.

Shortly after, Han Xue’er picked out two pieces of clothing, totaling no more than thirty thousand yuan, and Ye Haochuan paid without even blinking.

Changing out of ordinary street clothes, Han Xue’er, now in a white long dress she had chosen, looked perfectly graceful and pure. Anyone seeing her would inevitably think of a pristine white lotus.

Han Xue’er initially planned to change out of the white dress and put it in a shopping bag, but Ye Haochuan smiled slightly, ”Just wear it.”

”Okay.” Seeing her beloved suggest it, Han Xue’er obediently agreed.

Afterward, the couple walked hand in hand intimately out of the women’s clothing store. Especially Han Xue’er, seeing her beloved willing to buy her such expensive clothes, felt incredibly sweet, cheerful like blooming flowers all the way.

And Ye Haochuan naturally took the opportunity to cop a feel here and there. Especially when they passed the unisex public bathroom in the main lobby on the first floor, he suddenly felt mischievous and chuckled, ”Xue’er, want to join Brother in the bathroom? How about it?”

Han Xue’er, unsuspecting, smiled sweetly, ”Sure.”

Soon, the two reached the bathroom, and just as one of the enclosed stalls’ doors was open, Ye Haochuan, seeing no one around, embraced Han Xue’er and pulled her inside.

”Ah! Brother Ye...”

Han Xue’er had no idea he would take such an action and exclaimed in surprise, like a startled rabbit.

Ye Haochuan held back his laughter, chuckling in the public bathroom, thinking how thrilling all this was!
