Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 336: Chapter 335: Dare to bully my mom?

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps from outside the door drew closer.

”Hurry up, someone’s coming,” Ye Haochuan urged.

Han Xue’er responded with an acknowledgment and, holding Ye Haochuan’s hand, they both left the restroom together.

However, when she came out, her pretty face was flushed with heat, and her head hung low, not daring to look at anyone.

It wasn’t until Ye Haochuan led her out of the mall and the night breeze brought a hint of coolness that she started to come to her senses.

Ye Haochuan called a ride with his cell phone to return home, and on the way, the two were affectionate and tender towards each other. Although they had not broken through the final barrier in the restroom just before, their relationship was now stronger than ever.

When they got back to the rental housing complex, it was already ten o’clock at night.

However, just as Han Xue’er was about to take out her keys to open the door, Ye Haochuan suddenly received a phone call. As he pulled out his phone, he saw it was from Old Master Lin.

At this late hour, what could Old Master Lin be calling for?

With a look of suspicion, Ye Haochuan pressed the answer button, and after hearing just a couple of sentences from Elder Lin, his face drastically changed. Han Xue’er had not yet grasped the situation before he re-entered the elevator.

”Brother Ye...”

Realizing something was wrong, Han Xue’er quickly followed him into the elevator, asking curiously, ”Brother Ye, what happened?”

”My biological mother is here, in a room downstairs,” Ye Haochuan replied.

”Your biological mother?” Han Xue’er had heard him talk about his background before and was a bit taken aback at the moment.

The elevator doors opened once again, but the scene that met their eyes was a man and woman arguing at the end of the corridor.

The moment Ye Haochuan’s gaze landed on the woman, his eyes immediately reddened. It turned out that the woman was none other than Tong Xiangxiu, his biological mother, who had all along masqueraded as Auntie Tong.

She was dressed simply, in a plaid patterned long skirt. Although she was over forty years old, she had an extraordinary demeanor, exuding a serene and elegant aura that would likely earn anyone’s silent praise at first sight.

At that moment, with her back to Ye Haochuan, unaware of his presence, Tong Xiangxiu pleaded with the man, ”Landlord, please, I just went out for a while and my money got stolen by a thief. Give me a day’s grace. When my man comes back, I’ll give it to you first thing tomorrow morning...”

The landlord had a somewhat balding head and eyes that roamed around Tong Xiangxiu with no good intentions, chuckling, ”I’m telling you, sister, my place is right next to University Town, and it’s in high demand. You’ve only paid five days’ worth of rent, and it’s due already. By the way, what does your man do for a living? How come I’ve never seen him around these past few days?”

Sensing the evil gleam in the landlord’s eyes, Tong Xiangxiu was naturally nervous, but she kept her composure, saying, ”No, he’ll be back soon.”

”He’ll be back soon?” The landlord seemed disbelieving, then suddenly, his eyes shifted, ”Well then, I’ve got nothing to do, let’s just go inside and sit, wait for him to come back.”

”This...” Tong Xiangxiu hesitated, ”Landlord, it’s quite late, I’m afraid it’s not convenient, right?”

”Convenient, convenient...” The landlord laughed as he made to step into the room.

Tong Xiangxiu’s eyebrows knitted together—although she had not known this landlord for long, she could see right away that he was a lecher. If she allowed him into the room, it was hard to say what might happen.

So, she quickly barred his way, stating coldly, ”Landlord, it’s getting late, and I need to rest. As for the rent, don’t worry, I’ll personally bring it to you tomorrow.”

She had expected a cold rebuff to make the landlord back off. However, to her surprise, the scoundrel became even more cheeky, saying, ”Hey, hey, don’t be in such a hurry. Didn’t you just say your man is about to return? Going to bed so early? That’s not right...”

Speaking, the landlord’s face revealed an epiphany, ”Ah, I understand now. You’re not just leading me on, are you? Actually, you don’t have a man at all, do you?”

Tong Xiangxiu’s complexion changed as she retorted, ”You... are overthinking it.”

”Haha, I am overthinking it.” The landlord’s eyes were shining as he lunged forward another step.

Tong Xiangxiu, frightened, took a step back, ”You, get out now, or I will call the police.”

”Call the police?” The landlord scoffed, ”Then you call them right now.”

With that, the landlord made to tackle Tong Xiangxiu into his arms.

Tong Xiangxiu screamed loudly in fright, hurriedly dodging, but the landlord shadowed her every move, about to grab the woman in front of him when suddenly, a sharp gust of air shot past from behind.

”Ouch!”

The landlord let out a pained yell as his palm was pierced with a thumb-sized bloody hole, gruesomely exposing flesh and blood.

Turning his head, he saw Ye Haochuan approaching with a grim expression.

”Ye Haochuan...” Seeing him, Tong Xiangxiu exclaimed in shock.

”You old bastard, dare to bully my mom, you’re asking for it!” Ye Haochuan stepped forward, grabbed the landlord’s hand, and fiercely pushed him to the ground, beating and kicking him relentlessly.

”Ouch, ouch...”

The landlord wailed like a ghost, rolling on the floor in agony.
