Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 337: Chapter 336 Lesson

Hearing Ye Haochuan call her ”Mom,” Tong Xiangxiu’s body shuddered, her face filled with disbelief. He... finally knew?

At this moment, the landlord’s piercing scream grew even louder as he was relentlessly beaten by Ye Haochuan until he was bruised and swollen.

Fortunately, Ye Haochuan held back. If he had used the Bone Fracture Hand, the old lecher might have been crippled long ago.

”Get the hell out of here now, and if you harass my mom again, I’ll cripple you,” Ye Haochuan bellowed.

After speaking, he fiercely kicked the landlord, sending him sliding three to four meters across the ground.

The landlord let out another agonizing scream.

After a while, he struggled to get up, covered his bleeding hand, pressed the elevator button, and before flashing inside, he said with a venomous look, ”You brat, don’t think I don’t know who you are. Just you wait, I’m going to get someone.”

Having said that, he quickly slipped into the elevator.

”Damn it.”

Ye Haochuan was too late to catch him and was just about to jump down from the balcony at the end of the hallway when he was pulled back. Turning around, he saw it was his mother, Tong Xiangxiu.

”Haochuan, don’t chase after him,” Tong Xiangxiu shook her head.

Seeing his mother’s disapproving expression, Ye Haochuan had no choice but to give up.

At that moment, as he calmed down, he suddenly felt an odd sensation in his heart. He knew that the switch from Auntie to Mother was something he was struggling to adjust to, unsure whether he felt excitement or resentment.

Tong Xiangxiu seemed to realize this as well and stood frozen, not knowing what to say.

Han Xue’er had once heard Ye Haochuan talk about his background, and now, seeing the sudden mother-son reunion and the awkward atmosphere, she knew there had to be a reason. Biting her lip, she whispered softly, ”A child willing to support, yet the parent is not around.”

Hearing this, Ye Haochuan’s figure trembled. Thinking of how his mother had transformed into Auntie Tong in order to watch him grow up, his eyes involuntarily filled with tears, and he couldn’t help himself as he cried out, ”Mom.”

Then, he knelt down with a thud.

Tong Xiangxiu, too, was unable to control her emotions, her tears spilling over as she remembered the many bitter days she had endured for the sake of her son. She embraced him, and mother and son held each other, weeping out loud.

Han Xue’er had already been moved to tears. After a while, she said, ”Brother Ye, it’s rare for you and your mother to be reunited. Why don’t you bring your mother up to live with us? It would be better for us to look after one another, and living here really isn’t safe.”

”Real men do not easily cry. Haochuan, get up,” Tong Xiangxiu nodded, let go of the embrace, and then pulled her son to his feet.

Ye Haochuan wiped the tears from his face, and a sense of happiness at no longer being an orphan overwhelmed him, even making his speech somewhat inarticulate. ”Right, right, right, that landlord is just too despicable. Living here really isn’t appropriate. Mom, our rented apartment is just upstairs.”

”I know,” Tong Xiangxiu replied with a choked voice.

”You know?” Both Ye Haochuan and Han Xue were startled.

But Ye Haochuan quickly realized that if his mother could find him at Haishan University, it wouldn’t be difficult for her to find out where he lived.

”Auntie, since you knew we were living upstairs, why didn’t you tell Brother Ye?” Han Xue asked.

Tong Xiangxiu’s attention was only then drawn to Han Xue, observing her dressed in a white gown, elegant and pure, innocent and lovely, which puzzled her for a moment because this girl was not the He Yun she remembered.

Intending to inquire about Han Xue’s background, she smiled and said, ”This young lady is so beautiful. May I know what your relationship with Haochuan is?”

Han Xue immediately became bashful, glancing affectionately at Ye Haochuan, who then let out a hearty laugh, ”Mom, she’s my girlfriend. We’re already engaged.”

Instantly, joy spread across Tong Xiangxiu’s face: ”Really?”

Looking at the gentle and charming Han Xue’er in front of her, she grew fonder of her by the minute, and soon reached out to hold her hand, offering warm inquiries about her well-being.

Han Xue’er blushed and nodded her head.

Seeing this scene, Ye Haochuan felt increasingly content. It was at this moment that he truly experienced the feeling of home.

”Then Brother Ye, let’s help move aunt’s luggage upstairs,” Han Xue’er suddenly said.

Ye Haochuan gave an affirmative grunt and then entered the room rented by his mother. He carefully packed her belongings, but just as he was about to leave, the elevator doors opened, and a group of people burst in aggressively.

The leader was a middle-aged woman with a plump figure, and behind her was the landlord, sporting a bruised and swollen face.

This middle-aged woman was none other than the landlord’s wife, known by everyone in the building as the Landlady.

Following the couple, there were five or six young men, each with tattoos on their bare necks, carrying clubs in their hands and exuding a menacing aura—clearly troublemakers from the streets.

”Husband, who hit you just now?” the Landlady demanded loudly, hands on her hips.

The landlord instantly pointed at Ye Haochuan’s nose, his face filled with resentment, and said, ”It was him!”

Ye Haochuan’s eyes immediately bulged in anger, and the landlord quickly recoiled, no longer daring to be arrogant. Clearly, the memory of Ye Haochuan’s previous ruthless actions had left a deep impression on him.

”You little brat, you actually beat my husband to this state, even put a hole in his palm. Tell me, what should we do now?” the Landlady humphed.

Ye Haochuan set down his various bags, crossed his arms and chuckled, ”What should we do? Make a cold dish of it!”

”What?” The Landlady flew into a rage, ”You injure my husband like this and think to make a cold dish of it? Let me tell you, kid, if you don’t come up with an explanation tonight, don’t even think about leaving.”

At that point, one of the thugs behind her, swinging his club, shouted, ”Sister Fen, why waste words with this scrub? If we each take a swing at him, let’s see if we can’t beat him to death!”

The other thugs also started to get riled up.

The situation had escalated to a critical point.

Tong Xiangxiu began to feel anxious, having never witnessed such a scene before.

Seeing this, Han Xue’er simply smiled and said, ”Auntie, don’t worry, Brother Ye is really strong. These people are no match for him.”

Ever since Ye Haochuan exhibited his Divine Might in Han Family Village, his image of power had been deeply etched in Han Xue’er’s mind.

”Really?” Tong Xiangxiu was somewhat skeptical.

”Yes,” confirmed Han Xue’er with a nod.

At that moment, Ye Haochuan coldly swept his gaze over the Landlady’s group and declared, ”Fine, anyone who wants to die can come right on up!”

Saying so, he eagerly rubbed his hands together in preparation.

He made up his mind; today he had to hit them hard. If he did not teach these people a lesson, they might come back to cause trouble in the future.

”Get him, boys!” the Landlady yelled in fury.

The thugs immediately advanced, swinging their clubs at Ye Haochuan.

Unfortunately for them, Ye Haochuan had already made his move. Powerful True Qi burst forth from his fingertips, directly striking the thugs’ legs. In an instant, they toppled to the ground, clutching their limbs and screaming in pain: ”Ow, it hurts to death, ah...”

Seeing this, the Landlady and the landlord knew they had kicked an iron plate and immediately turned pale with fear.
