Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 318: Chapter 317: Apologize or Not?

Hearing Lin Zixuan blabber about ruining his relationship with Xiao Haimei, Ye Haochuan chuckled, ”Interesting, very interesting indeed. I’d like to hear how you plan to destroy my relationship with Xiao Haimei?”

As he spoke, he crossed his arms and assumed a posture of waiting for her answer.

However, Lin Zixuan’s response made him burst into laughter: ”Hmph, easy. I’ll just flirt with you in front of her, watch her go mad with rage, and then she’ll break up with you?”

Ye Haochuan was speechless on the spot: ”That’s a vicious plan, really quite merciless!”

But Lin Zixuan showed no shame, puffing up her chest and giggling, ”So, scared now?”

”Yeah, I’m really scared.” Ye Haochuan chuckled, ”But as venomous as your plan is, it won’t be easy to break up the bond between Xiao Haimei and me. Better yet, you should get your sister Qingxuan in on this, heh heh...”

The more Lin Zixuan listened, the weirder it felt, and it took her a moment to realize; this jerk actually wanted her and her sister to team up, aiming for a double blessing. Hmph, dream on!

Lin Zixuan frowned inwardly, but casually said, ”No need, with me around, one equals two, guaranteeing that Eldest Miss Xiao can’t handle it, and will eventually break up with you.”

Ye Haochuan rolled his eyes; this chick was really full of herself, thinking a little bit of flirting could destroy his and Xiao Haimei’s relationship? Naïve!

He was about to retort when suddenly, his phone rang. Picking it up, it was Xiao Haimei calling.

”Sister Mei.” Ye Haochuan answered the call.

”Darling, are you done with your tasks?” Xiao Haimei’s tender voice laughed over the phone.

”Done with them...”

As Ye Haochuan was speaking, Lin Zixuan suddenly made faces and weird noises, ”Harder, harder...”

Damn, this girl is as tricky as Zhao Bingqian?

Ye Haochuan jumped in fright and quickly covered the phone’s microphone, glaring fiercely at Lin Zixuan, who, oblivious, puckered her bright red lips, looking smug about her minor victory.

”Darling, what’s happening?” Xiao Haimei’s suspicious voice came from the phone.

”Nothing, nothing, someone was just fighting nearby...”

After much coaxing, Ye Haochuan finally cleared up Xiao Haimei’s doubts.

”Darling, are you free this afternoon?” Xiao Haimei asked without giving it a second thought.

”Is there something you need?” Ye Haochuan wondered.

”Our Xiao Group’s general meeting of shareholders just ended. The shareholders unanimously agreed to transfer several billion dollars worth of the Xiao Family’s shares to offset the group’s losses. However, there’s a major problem now; very few large companies are capable of taking over our Xiao Family’s shares in one go, except for one company that has the capacity...”

Hearing this, Ye Haochuan quickly inquired, ”Which company?”

”Su Group.”

Ye Haochuan furrowed his brow. According to the traitor Xiao Quan’s confession, it was this Su Group that wanted to ruin the Xiao Group. Now, if the Xiao Family sought help from Su Group amid this crisis, they would inevitably encounter a cold reception.

Of course, a cold reception was the lesser worry. The real fear was if the Su Group refused to take over, which would spell trouble.

”Su Group and the Xiao Family don’t get along; I doubt they would agree...” Ye Haochuan hesitated.

”I thought so initially, but the Su Group contacted us proactively, expressing their willingness to take over our Xiao Family’s shares. However, as far as the price is concerned, we haven’t agreed on terms with the Su Group yet. So, we’ve decided to meet face-to-face at Yuhang Hotel to negotiate the price for the shares. They specifically requested your presence...”

After hearing Xiao Haimei’s explanation, Ye Haochuan roughly understood and replied after a moment’s thought, ”Strange, why involve me in this?”

”I found it strange too, but maybe it’s because of that Su Zehao you met once?” Xiao Haimei suggested.

Thinking it over, Ye Haochuan said, ”Alright, since Su Group is willing to acquire the Xiao Family’s shares, I’ll accompany you to ensure we get a good price, heh heh.”

After hanging up the phone, Ye Haochuan glared viciously at the gleeful Lin Zixuan, ”Please, Eldest Miss Lin, we have no grudges between us, did you have to set me up like this?”

Lin Zixuan giggled, ”Then are you still willing to help me out and take care of Huanzi and his gang of jerks for me? To avenge me?”

Ye Haochuan had intended to ignore her, but at that moment, she took out her mobile phone, smiling mischievously, ”I’ll have you know, I’ve got the Eldest Miss Xiao’s phone number. What if I call her and tell her you’re bullying me? What do you think she would think?”

”You’re ruthless!”

Ye Haochuan gritted his teeth in frustration. Even though he had already persuaded Xiao Haimei to not mind him embracing other girls in the future, women are naturally sensitive, and regarding such matters, he had also promised Xiao Haimei that he would seek her approval before accepting any new girl. If this Eldest Miss Lin stirs up trouble, who knows what chaos might ensue.

Lin Zixuan hummed triumphantly, ”Then shouldn’t you get moving?”

Left without a choice, Ye Haochuan could only execute the Dragon Flight and Tiger Step, and after a few leaps, he was right in front of the retreating Huanzi and the others.

”What... what do you want to do?” Huanzi paled.

”Lose and think you can just slip away? Not so fast,” Ye Haochuan said lightly.

Huanzi’s voice turned cold, ”You little punk, are you determined to oppose our Sun Moon Alliance?”

”What if I am?” Ye Haochuan snorted coldly, ”If you’re sensible, you’d better apologize to Eldest Miss Lin right now, otherwise, don’t blame me for being ruthless. What’s so great about your Sun Moon Alliance? Do you think the Tianyu Alliance is made of clay?”

Remembering his irreconcilable differences with the Tianyu Alliance, Ye Haochuan naturally wouldn’t pass up this great opportunity to set the Sun Moon Alliance and the Tianyu Alliance against each other.

Sure enough, Huanzi was stunned on the spot, ”What? You’re with the Tianyu Alliance?”

”How about it? Doesn’t it seem likely?” Ye Haochuan cast a sideways glance at him.

Huanzi’s face changed again, his gaze intensifying, ”So you’re saying, you’re determined to be at odds with us?”

”Exactly.”

Huanzi’s complexion changed drastically, he waved his hand and shouted, ”Brothers, let’s take him down!”

However, the gangsters were full of fear towards Ye Haochuan and not one of them dared to step forward.

”Damn it!” Huanzi cursed under his breath, yet was powerless.

At that moment, Ye Haochuan had already made his move, and his first move was the Nine Tyrant Dragons Fist.

In an instant, ferocious winds swept through. With his current level of cultivation, these guys, who hadn’t yet reached the Postnatal Realm, were no match for him; they were thrown off their feet by the force of the wind, bleeding from their mouths.

Even Huanzi himself was grabbed by Ye Haochuan with his Dragon Claw Thousands of Miles and held by the neck.

Just as Lin Zixuan arrived, she saw him effortlessly subdue her enemies and couldn’t help but cheer loudly, looking at him with eyes full of admiration.

”Going to apologize?” Ye Haochuan demanded of Huanzi.

With his neck constricted, struggling to breathe, Huanzi had no choice but to nod in submission.

Only then did Ye Haochuan throw Huanzi to the ground like trash, and the latter, having no choice, knelt before Lin Zixuan to beg for mercy, completely pitiful.

Lin Zixuan, feeling utterly satisfied, shouted, ”Scram!”

Where would Huanzi and his group dare to stay, they scrambled away in desperate haste.

The little delinquent girls behind Lin Zixuan cheered and bounded with joy around Ye Haochuan, chattering incessantly, almost ready to offer themselves to him.

At that moment, Ye Haochuan genuinely felt surrounded by a sea of flesh and a forest of temptations, thinking to himself, damn, this bunch of little delinquent girls are really about to devour me!
