Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 313: Chapter 312: The Whereabouts of Mother

Since childhood, Ye Haochuan had always been an orphan, completely unaware of his parents’ identities. Learning of his mother’s whereabouts inevitably stirred some excitement in him.

Although deep down, the hatred he felt for his mother was no less intense than his longing for love, the fact that he had information about his mother meant that from then on, he was no longer an orphan.

”It’s like this, Young Chap Ye, your mother’s whereabouts—actually, you know them. She has always been by your side; it’s just that you weren’t aware,” Old Master Lin said with a heavy heart.

”Always been by my side?” Ye Haochuan stood rooted to the spot, ”How is that possible?”

”Yes.”

”Then who is my mother?”

”It’s that Auntie Tong who, in your eyes, has treated you as her own child,” Old Master Lin said gravely.

”Auntie Tong?” Ye Haochuan was visibly shaken, his face a mask of disbelief.

”It’s her.” Old Master Lin nodded, ”Actually, when I originally sent Gao Ren to investigate your background, he inadvertently discovered Auntie Tong praying at her home every night for your safety and well-being. This unusual behavior aroused Gao Ren’s suspicion, so he kept on monitoring, and eventually found her diaries...”

”Diaries?” Ye Haochuan’s fists tightened.

”Yes, not just one diary. They clearly recorded her twenty-some years accompanying your growth, as well as the reasons why she had to send you to the orphanage in the beginning.”

The question Ye Haochuan cared about most was why, if his parents had abandoned him, they bothered to have him at all.

This was what he had always failed to understand.

”Old Master Lin, can you tell me the reason?” Ye Haochuan asked eagerly.

”The specific reason can’t be explained in just a few words, but broadly speaking, it was because your father, for the sake of his own future, abandoned your mother, leading to your mother being pregnant before marriage...”

”Pregnant before marriage?” Ye Haochuan frowned.

”Yes... Your mother couldn’t bear to abort you, so she secretly had you. Because of this, your mother had a falling out with her family. With nowhere to turn, she had no choice but to send you to an orphanage. As for herself, she could only secretly work as a cleaner at the orphanage and watch you grow up. She suffered a lot over these years, ah, there’s too much to tell.”

As Ye Haochuan listened, his eyes were already moist. Remembering how he had grown up under the care and protection of the so-called Auntie Tong, his hatred for his biological mother began to fade, and he longed to fly to her side immediately and acknowledge her.

Old Master Lin saw what he was thinking and laughed, ”No rush, no rush, Young Chap Ye. You and your mother have been together for so many years, and you know each other well. There’s no need to be so anxious.”

Ye Haochuan wiped his tears and said, ”Old Master Lin, thank you for telling me all this, but right now, I’m in a hurry to go back...”

Old Master Lin waved his hand to interrupt, ”If you want to go back now to find your mother’s whereabouts, I’m afraid it will be difficult.”

”Oh? Why?” Ye Haochuan was taken aback.

”It’s like this,” Old Master Lin explained, ”the person I had secretly watching over your mother said that she left the orphanage a few days ago and has gone missing.”

”What?” Ye Haochuan was so anxious he almost jumped up.

”Young Chap Ye, no need to worry. I speculate, in this vast world, there are only three places your mother would go,” Old Master Lin said with the confidence of a sage.

Ye Haochuan was extremely intelligent. After a brief thought, he immediately said, ”Old Master Lin, do you mean my mother might go to where my father is, the home I used to have, or the city where I currently live, Haishan?”

”You are promising indeed!” Old Master Lin laughed heartily, his face filled with admiration, ”You were able to think of this so quickly, truly remarkable. I analyze that your mother will most likely appear in Haishan to continue accompanying you. After all these years together, seeing you develop in Haishan, she naturally wants to follow.”

Ye Haochuan nodded his head in agreement; from childhood up until university graduation, he had always lived in the city where the orphanage was located. It was only because of a recent dispute with his ex-girlfriend, He Yun, that he had to leave and come to Haishan City.

Gradually, Ye Haochuan calmed down and wasn’t in a hurry to leave anymore.

Old Master Lin chatted with him casually for a while longer before letting him go, laughing, ”Go on, spend more time with Qingxuan, that lass. In the future, I’m still expecting to see you two give me grandchildren, haha.”

Feeling relieved, Ye Haochuan chuckled, ”Old Master Lin, what if it’s a granddaughter?”

”You rascal, daring to joke with me; whether it’s a grandson or a granddaughter, they’re still the seed of you and our Lin Family,” Old Master Lin said laughingly and scoldingly.

Ye Haochuan laughed heartily, then took his leave, exited the study, and went to look for Lin Qingxuan.

Now, he had developed a preliminary ability to distinguish between Lin Zixuan and Lin Qingxuan—the twin sisters.

The most obvious way, of course, was their attire. Sister Lin Zixuan favored a more aggressive style, while Lin Qingxuan’s was more gentle and easy to recognize.

However, just as he was descending the stairs to find Lin Qingxuan, he ran into Lin Zixuan dressed in full camouflage military attire.

Knowing that he didn’t get along with Lin Zixuan, Ye Haochuan didn’t want to provoke her at the moment. After a perfunctory greeting, he meant to walk past her, but the girl stopped him with a displeased tone, ”Stop!”

Ye Haochuan stopped reluctantly, adoption a languid pose, ”What is it?”

”You’re so capable, you’ll have to help me with something later.”

Ye Haochuan chuckled and replied offhandedly, ”With what?”

”Come on, I’ll tell you when we get there.”

With that, Lin Zixuan grabbed his sleeve, headed downstairs, and then the two reached a secluded and deep backyard.

Ye Haochuan couldn’t help thinking that Lin Zixuan wasn’t planning on a romantic encounter, when suddenly, she led him to a roll-up door. With a whoosh, she lifted the door, and Ye Haochuan was taken aback to find a small parking garage inside, lined up with seven or eight custom motorcycles, all spray-painted with various bizarre images, looking quite cool.

”See that? These are all my rides, cool, aren’t they?” Lin Zixuan said proudly, sticking out her ample chest.

”They’re alright, I guess,” Ye Haochuan said casually.

”Just alright?” Lin Zixuan gave him the middle finger most rudely, looking annoyed, ”These are my beloved vehicles, and they’re all limited editions worldwide. See this one here? This is the Honda DAX Hunter Wolf Motorcycle—an upgraded version of the former DAX Hunter Dog series. It’s super cool to ride on.”

As she spoke, she pushed a motorcycle that resembled a hunter wolf in front of him, her expression excited.

Ye Haochuan didn’t know much about motorcycles, but his memories of Holy Hand revealed him to be an expert, so he could roughly gauge the cost-performance ratio of this custom bike—

The motorcycle had a Honda 100 international class engine, four gears, professional disc brakes, stainless steel return pipe exhaust, stainless steel enlarged throat pipe storage device, and of course, the coolest part was the split-type racing handlebars...

As he was silently appraising it, Lin Zixuan, who had already straddled the bike, beckoned him over with her finger, ”Come on up.”

Ye Haochuan hesitated, ”For what?”

”Geez, for such a big man, why the fuss?” Lin Zixuan spoke with disdain, ”What, do you think I’m going to sell you or something?”

Shit, to be looked down upon by this chick, Ye Haochuan was somewhat speechless, as he straddled the motorcycle.
