Invincible Little School Doctor

Before long, the staff from Haishan Medical University had ushered the patients into the venue.

It must be said that there were quite a few patients, about ten or so, and most of them were in serious condition, either paralyzed or severely ill, and of course, there were also some with terminal diseases.

”Young man, you pick a patient first, and demonstrate your so-called Qigong to us,” one of the medical authorities on the stage, who quite disliked Ye Haochuan, said rather sarcastically.

Ye Haochuan frowned. He had noticed this man while he was still in the audience—this fellow’s name was Mo Zuofei, an old Western doctor with a long-standing reputation who, it can be said, held a high level of authority in the medical community of Haishan.

Seeing that he had started off by giving him a cold reception, Ye Haochuan chuckled and said, ”Then, I’ll take the offer.”

Just then, among the patients, an old man suddenly started coughing violently, even coughing up blood.

”Let it be him.”

Ye Haochuan pointed at the coughing man.

Soon after, the staff brought the coughing old man over.

Ye Haochuan instructed the old man to lie down on the temporary sickbed that had already been prepared nearby.

The school-appointed cameraman immediately stepped forward to capture the scene closely.

Everyone in the venue turned their eyes to the large screen behind the stage, where the footage shot by the cameraman was being displayed.

After briefly inquiring about the old man’s conditions and combining it with his own observation, Ye Haochuan already had a clear diagnosis in mind.

The coughing old man, in his sixties, was suffering from bronchial asthma. His chronic coughing had led to complications, and dense phlegm had accumulated deep in his throat notch, making it difficult for him to breathe or even speak without a heavy phlegmy sound.

Honestly speaking, the complication was easy to resolve, but due to the old man’s age, and the presence of both cold asthma and heat asthma, he had never fully recovered.

To put it bluntly, if the situation were to continue, in time, the dense phlegm accumulating too much would block his airway, possibly costing him his life in his sleep.

However, in Ye Haochuan’s view, curing the old man’s disease was not difficult—just prescribing a simple traditional Chinese medicine would do the trick.

But today, with everyone’s attention on him, and the crowd awaiting his Qigong skills, prescribing medicine was inappropriate. He needed to rely on his miraculous Qigong.

No sooner had he thought this than Ye Haochuan concentrated his Qi in his Dantian, activated the Longevity True Qi, and slowly levitated the old man.

”Ah!”

Seeing the old man float in mid-air, everyone in the venue was secretly amazed. Many had seen Qigong masters before, but to see someone casually levitating a person like this was indeed a rarity in their lives.

But what truly shocked everyone was Ye Haochuan’s next medical technique.

They saw Ye Haochuan’s right hand gently sweep from the old man’s chest up to his throat. Although the movement was slow, everyone could see the old man’s face turning red from the effort to restrain himself.

Suddenly—

”Puh!”

The old man suddenly spat out a mouthful of thick phlegm, but strangely, the phlegm did not fall to the ground but was enveloped by a gentle stream of air and floated in mid-air.

”Go!”

Ye Haochuan waved his hand, and the phlegm slowly flew into a spittoon not far away.

The elderly man immediately looked relieved, his previously strained face now beaming with vitality as he kept saying to Ye Haochuan, ”Brilliant, brilliant!”

At that moment, the venue also erupted into thunderous applause, most people were stunned by his skill.

The group led by Shi Mingtai, all medical experts, were dumbfounded. The elderly man’s bronchitis was not the most severe, but to eliminate thick phlegm, surgery seemed necessary. Yet, Ye Haochuan had resolved it effortlessly.

Ye Haochuan smiled slightly. His last move clearly had a performative aspect to achieve a stunning effect.

Slowly withdrawing his True Qi, Ye Haochuan placed the elderly man on a temporary sickbed, and then said, ”Old man, please be patient. The thick phlegm in your mouth has been removed, but the condition is not yet fully cured. I need to continue treating you. Rest assured, I guarantee a complete recovery!”

The elderly man’s confidence in him surged, and he nodded eagerly in approval.

Then, with a grand gesture, Ye Haochuan grasped and something happened so fast that no one saw clearly how he moved, but suddenly he had a Silver Needle in his hand.

Soon, rows of Silver Needles were inserted into the elderly man’s Adam’s apple. At the same time, Ye Haochuan gently brushed his hand, and influenced by the Longevity True Qi, the tails of the rows of needles began to quiver gently.

Then, the air followed the Silver Needles into the elderly man’s throat.

Instantly, the elderly man felt a stream of mild warmth slowly seeping in, stimulating the muscles in his throat to expand — it felt so good he truly wanted to shout his approval.

However, Ye Haochuan, fearful that he would move indiscriminately, had already muted his Mute Acupoint in silence, so he couldn’t speak.

Time passed by minute by minute, and after about seven or eight minutes, Ye Haochuan finally stopped and gradually withdrew the Silver Needles.

By then, many people were staring intently at the large screen, trying to see how the needles disappeared from his hands.

However, they were all disappointed, not because Ye Haochuan moved too swiftly, but because those needles vanished into thin air the moment they reached his hands.

Suddenly, the hall was filled with whispering discussions yet again.

But Ye Haochuan couldn’t care less, with another sweeping gesture, he took out some paper and pen and then wrote out a prescription with swift, flamboyant strokes.

At this moment, Shi Mingtai and others approached the podium.

”Doctor Ye, may we take a look at your prescription?” Shi Mingtai asked earnestly.

”Of course,” Ye Haochuan immediately handed over the prescription to Shi Mingtai.

Shi Mingtai quickly glanced at it, while the other so-called medical magnates intently watched him, waiting for his response, as among them, only he was proficient in both Chinese and Western medicine.

Soon, the tension among the other medical magnates intensified.

It turned out that Shi Mingtai’s expression changed, he shook his head, and then hurried forward to check the elderly man’s pulse. His expression changed yet again.

Instantly, several medical magnates felt a schadenfreude rising within, convinced that the prescription Ye Haochuan had written must be outrageous for Shi Mingtai to look so troubled.

However, the outcome was unexpected, as they heard Shi Mingtai repeatedly praising, ”Good, very good! This prescription is excellent, balancing power with gentleness. This elderly man’s bronchitis can be cured without a doubt.”

This time, not only the medical magnates were baffled, but even the audience who had been intently watching the big screen gasped in surprise upon hearing this.

The only person who remained composed was Xiao Haimei.

At that moment, her beautiful face was filled with a joyful smile, and if not for all the eyes on her, she truly wanted to rush up and give Ye Haochuan a passionate kiss.

”Young man, truly remarkable, just with this prescription, you already show the mark of a national expert,” Shi Mingtai admired as he addressed Ye Haochuan.
