Chapter 1433: Section 1434: The Door of Transmutation

By the time Angel noticed the change in the Gate Model, the essence energy had almost completed its circulation.

The changes in the Gate Model were subtle internal shifts. With more than two thousand seven hundred intricate patterns interwoven, they were incredibly hard to detect. Moreover, since Angel had not planned to use the Gate Model at this time, his attention was not focused on the Witchcraft Slot.

It was not until the Gate Model actively released a peculiar fluctuation that Angel subconsciously directed his attention towards it.

Upon looking, he was stunned.

Of the more than two thousand seven hundred patterns within the Gate Model, half were constructed by himself, while the other half were made of a special type of energy, which was completely different in nature from any energy Angel currently knew of, and its origin was also quite peculiar.

It originated from that strange world closely associated with the “Eye of the Sky.”

When Angel previously used the Gate Model, its function was limited to short-range spatial shift. However, Angel was clear about one thing: The Gate Model had a special aspect that had not yet manifested.

That was whether the Gate Model would undergo any changes under the influence of this special energy.

Originally, when Angel constructed the Gate Model in the Whisker Sea, a portion of this special energy was present.

This special energy resided deep within the Gate Model and, as the magic power circulated within, it gradually diffused. Angel could not understand whether this diffusion was increasing the total amount, a dilution of a constant amount, or if there were other possibilities.

But what could be predicted was that, eventually, this special energy might diffuse throughout the entire Gate Model.

From the start, Angel had speculated that once the special energy diffused throughout the Gate Model, perhaps he could witness the effects that would occur under its influence.

Angel was always looking forward to this day, yet the diffusion of the special energy was painfully slow. Based on his previous estimations, he might still have to wait for some time.

However, just as Angel was channeling essence energy into his Psychic Model to initiate the first cycle, the special energy within the Gate Model suddenly accelerated its diffusion.

The special energy, which Angel had thought would take months to fully spread, covered more than eighty percent of the Gate Model in an instant, and the diffusion was not yet complete. Angel could clearly see the special energy continuing to extend to uncovered areas at a pace visible to the naked eye. It would not be long before the entire Gate Model might be enveloped by the special energy…

The reason Angel noticed the changes in the Gate Model was that he sensed the peculiar fluctuations. When the special energy in the Gate Model reached ninety percent diffusion, the fluctuations intensified, causing Angel such discomfort that it was disconcerting.

The moment the special energy fully spread to every part of the Gate Model, the sensation of discomfort escalated further.

A Body Metamorphosis usually elicited from Angel only a tingling sensation. But the current discomfort felt like a tearing anguish.

This sensation of being torn apart was so intense that Angel couldn’t even distinguish whether it originated from his flesh or his spirit.

His only response was to frown, instinctively curl up, and retract his outward energies.

It seemed he was attempting to alleviate the tearing sensation through this action.

The appearance of this sensation also caused the Gate Model to enter a mysterious phase of Transmutation. Angel was unable to describe this change, but he knew that when this transformation ended, perhaps the moment for the special energy to unveil itself would arrive.

At the same time, in the outside world.

Everyone remained concerned about Angel’s condition, not even knowing whether he had succeeded or failed in advancing.

If he had succeeded, why had the apparition disappeared?

If he had failed, why did Angel’s outward appearance simply show him curled up without any signs of energy collapse?

In the midst of everyone’s bewilderment, only Frost might have perceived something.

Frost quietly watched Angel, and after a while, he raised his head to look into the sky… His gaze was not on the dome, nor on the Ghost Ship outside the dome, but pierced through all appearances to observe deeper changes occurring in the dark expanse of the Void.

There seemed to be an indescribable change happening there.

“It is indeed it, it has really reappeared,” Frost muttered to himself.

Who was it? Standing behind Frost, Sanders, who overheard his murmur, felt puzzled.

However, before Sanders could ask, an overwhelming oppressive sensation reappeared in the sky. As this pressure emerged, a breeze whose origin was unknown gently brushed over everyone’s skin.

Accompanying the visitation of the wind, the air became slightly stagnant.

Aboard the Ghost Ship, Kimberly looked up at the distant sky, puzzled, “The apparition seems to have returned?”

Following her gaze, everyone looked to the dim horizon, where beyond the rolling mountains, low clouds began to gather. The clouds formed dark masses in the faint night, rapidly approaching the location of the onlookers.

“Indeed, it’s an apparition,” exclaimed the old Wizard of Silent Hill. “But why does this apparition seem…,” he pondered long, not knowing how to describe it, before vaguely concluding, “a bit larger than before?”

To say “larger” might be simplistic, but everyone grasped the Old Wizard’s implication.

They saw not just one direction in the sky, but in every direction, from all angles, massive amounts of low clouds were converging. They could not discern where these clouds were coming from but knew that these clouds were spreading towards their location like a tide!

Even this much was enough to show that the phenomenon was many times larger than anything they had seen before.

Moreover, what they could see with their naked eyes was only “the sky,” and “the sky” is just a concept word that indicates a vague sense of distance.

Could these phenomena be coming from an even more distant place?

“This phenomenon has not yet fully formed, and it’s already so magnificent. Even before, the grandeur of heaven’s authority descended,” Kimberly’s brows were tightly furrowed, “What on earth is going on?”

This question, as the rolling dark clouds spread overhead, finally found an answer.

At this moment, the entire middle layer of the world, to the limits of what everyone could see with their eyes, was shrouded in darkness. Only above their heads, the clouds did not converge, instead turning slowly like a vortex.

At the very center of the dark cloud vortex, accompanied by a familiar fluctuation, a breath of terror descended from the sky.

Even with the protective barrier of the Ghost Ship, this terrifying breath still pressed the apprentices to the ground, all of them trembling with fear, clueless about what was happening outside.

The wizards who were standing were all full of shock in their eyes.

“How is this possible!” A scream came from Isabella’s mouth, “Why would the World Will descend? Why?!”

World Will.

The terrifying breath and familiar fluctuation were unerringly indicative of one thing—this was indeed the World Will.

Kimberly, sensing the fluctuations in the air, finally understood what was happening, but this understanding left her feeling both shocked and incredulous.

Kimberly turned to Isabella, whose background noise was full of surprise and frantic cries, “Why? Don’t you already have the answer in your heart?”

After Kimberly spoke, her gaze fell on Angel beneath the dome, a flicker of surprise in her eyes, mixed with a tinge of jealousy.

And Isabella, upon hearing Kimberly’s words, was stunned into silence, still murmuring to herself, “Why… ”

Falga, at that moment, leaning against the mast of the Ghost Ship, watched the scene unfolding in front of him and asked the old wizard with a puzzled tone, “What happened? Why would the World Will descend?”

The old wizard hesitated for a moment, then spoke softly, “I don’t know whether my feeling is right or wrong. This seems to be… ”

“Law Creation Phenomenon.”

Law Creation Phenomenon? Falga was stunned for a long time, his eyes filled with shock; how could he not know what Law Creation Phenomenon meant—

It was the ticket to the path of True Knowledge.

If this really is the Law Creation Phenomenon, does it mean that Angel is not only planning to break through as a wizard, but also ready to step into the realm of True Knowledge in one fell swoop?

Falga trembled slightly, his eyes full of disbelief, “Impossible, impossible, how could this be?”

The same sentiment, but because of a deliberately deepened and progressive tone, indicated that Falga’s heart was gradually leaning towards belief.

The old wizard himself was somewhat doubtful, yet Isabella’s performance made him understand something.

Isabella’s concoction of the Blood Bath Ceremony and even her past actions of going to Silent Hill to offer herself unconditionally to Bogura were all because she had never been able to step onto the path of True Knowledge.

Isabella had a deep sense of failure about advancing to True Knowledge, along with a strong obsession.

That’s why when she saw the Law Creation Phenomenon, she had such a great reaction.

While everyone on the ship was still astonished by the old wizard’s reply, Isabel was quietly sensing the stagnating air around her.

Apart from Frost, Isabel had experienced the Law Creation Phenomenon more than anyone else present.

Her understanding of the Law Creation Phenomenon was profound.

She could confirm that the old wizard’s words were not wrong; this was indeed Law Creation Phenomenon… but still, Isabel had some lingering doubts in her heart.

Indeed, Law Creation Phenomenon was correct, but she always felt that there was something off about this one.

There was another thing that puzzled Isabel.

She lifted her head and gazed at the black cloud vortex in the sky.

The World Will also made her feel strange.

It wasn’t that she doubted the World Will, but behind it, she faintly sensed an even deeper breath… that breath was consistent with the World Will, yet somewhat different.
