Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3884  Grim Deathʼs Awakening

Clara and many others were sent flying from the clash between three Late Stage Empyreans and Autarchs.

But suddenly, Clara disappeared from the scene.

Autarch Yulan Nazarin threw her into his life ring and shot away with two Level Six Autarchs protecting him. The three of them retreated together, prioritizing Claraʼs safety more than anything.

They no longer dared to keep Clara here since her loving big brother seemed to have gone mad and attacked her with full force, not even bothering to suppress his puppets, who couldʼve actually killed her if the force had seeped through Empyrean Miller Skyrendʼs defenses.

”Realm Masters, we need your help! Activate the killing formations! Besiege the Divine Emperor of Death from all sides and allow us to counterattack!”

Empyrean Miller Skyrend yelled out.

His white hair billowed within the chaotic atmosphere. His calm and gentle demeanor was nowhere to be seen as his expression was now full of solemness, filled with a bit of panic. He was unable to churn out any techniques because there wasnʼt enough time as he fought the two death puppets.

Each of their clashes was like a thunderclap.

*Boom!~*

Autarch Sirius directly landed a fist on his, his body glowing with a radiant golden light. The resulting force was like a roar that shook the heavens. Underneath them, the earth responded to his fist, jagged peaks abruptly erupting from the ground from the impact.

Yet, Empyrean Miller Skyrend was unfazed.

With a flick of his wrist, the flames surrounding him surged forth, trying to melt the golden fist.

It seemed like Empyrean Miller Skyrendʼs pure physical prowess was good enough to withstand a direct impact from a similarly powerful cultivator who cultivated the body more than essence and soul.

After all, Autarch Sirius was the possessor of the Golden Peak Body, a heavenly physique that exudes an authority of pure mountainous strength. Even his physique was slightly taller than normal humans and imposing, with skin that gleamed like a polished golden statue. His muscles were well-defined, not bulky, and perfectly propositioned, symbolizing balance within the tremendous power.

His hair was also a lustrous, deep golden hue that flowed like molten metal cascading down his back like a lavafall. However, his eyes that should shine with a brilliant, piercing light like the two suns were dull.

Empyrean Miller Skyrend couldnʼt believe the two men he respected throughout the ages had now fallen and became death puppets.

He felt like it was all his fault for bringing Clara out when he shouldʼve just finished the Divine Emperor of Death when he had the chance when the other party didnʼt use the treasure.

”The dead shall not be disrespected!”

He roared, and the molten lava gathered before his fist soared with flames. They surged forth like a tidal wave, the searing heat aimed directly at Autarch Sirius.

However, before the flames could reach their target, Autarch Tovolto intervened. With a crackling blur of motion, he appeared above and thrust his hands forward as a massive bolt of lightning tore through the air, splitting the flames and piercing through their arms.

The sound of the golden lightning echoed like a thousand thunderclaps, shaking many hearts who wondered if Empyrean Miller Skyrend had fallen as the puppet Autarch Tovolto had also gotten the other puppet involved in its range, causing immense damage to the both of them.

Empyrean Miller Skyrend took a step back, his expression changing into a painful snarl. He glanced at his right arm and saw that it was fried beyond recognition. They same could be said about Autarch Siriusʼs body but a pupped wouldnʼt be feeling pain.

However, Empyrean Miller Skyrend didnʼt give up.

He glanced back and saw Autarch Yulan Nazarin had retreated along with Clara and threw a talisman at them. The talisman unleashed a torrent of blue-white flames that engulfed the two like a coiling dragon. The flames seemed to come to life, turning into a massive inferno that ate them whole as terrifying flames soared into the skies, also creating a barrier between him and the Divine Emperor of Death.

ʼI have no choice but to use it…ʼ Empyrean Miller Skyrend thought.

Even if he did manage to mount a counterattack, the Divine Emperor of Deathʼs ridiculous death energy stemming from that strange black-white stone extinguishes everything that it touches.

Nothing was an exception, making him realize that this threat that they were willing to eradicate using so many resources turned out to be even more powerful.

Nonetheless, just as the offensive talisman he threw activated, the light-attributed killing formation gathered the rays of light from the sun and formed it underneath. It converged underneath it before the direction it faced appeared to be Davis.

It was not only Empyrean Miller Skyrend, but everyone hoped this attack would kill him.

After all, even if he could exude such power right now, it became a matter of how long it could last.

The fact that he wasnʼt coming after them after making two death puppets alone told them that he wasnʼt going to last long. Perhaps controlling two Late Stage Autarchs took quite a toll on him. Why wouldnʼt it?

*Shii!~*

A terrifying ray of golden light shot towards Davis.

But contrary to their expectations, he simply waved his hand, and a billowing wave of deathly mist enveloped the ray of golden light and extinguished it, swirling around the light as though it was a devouring force of darkness.

The very sight of it was eerie to the extreme, making everyoneʼs heart clench.

Davis turned to look at Realm Master of the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Clan, Patriarch of the Blackstone Clan, Lombart Blackstone, as his pitch-black gaze narrowed.

”If you insist on interfering, then donʼt blame me for being ruthless.”

He panned his gaze, ”The same goes for you two, Matriarch Leora Verlight and Patriarch Arata Sunborn.”

He addressed the two Realm Masters of the Starlight Jade Wolf Lower Realm and Golden Crow Lower Realm. The both of them had attended from the beginning, but they hadnʼt made a move since this wasnʼt their realm.

Thank you Divine Young Master Joselo for the Golden Gachapon!

Thanks again Solomon for the monthly Magic Castle showers!
