Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3851  Ignites A Path

The Heavenʼs Warrior opened the door and stepped inside, finding a black-robed woman seated near the wall on the other end.

Her head full of blonde hair rose, and she opened her eyes, revealing a beautiful set of purple eyes.

”How rude. Didnʼt I ask to not be disturbed?”

She flew while still cross-legged, her melodious voice turning angry.

”This…”

The Heavenʼs Warrior looked dumbfounded. From the aura of the undulation and the color of her eyes, he instantly recognized the status of the other party.

”Who are you? You have no right to barge in here,” she said, her purple eyes glowing with cardinality. The Heavenʼs Warrior felt a chill run down his spine as he realized something.

”Your highness, forgive my rudeness.”

He quickly raised his hands and cupped while lowering his head with sincerity, ”I thought I saw someone suspicious outside and felt some strange aura from this ship. But now, I realize that itʼs my mistake.”

Clara narrowed her eyes, ”Divergent aura? I did drop something belonging to a Divergent on the shipʼs deck. What? Such a thing caused you to disturb my cultivation?”

”Oh.”

The Heavenʼs Warrior nodded, appearing to understand. They did sometimes use things belonging to a Divergent in order to track them down. He guessed this case was no different.

”My apologies. My name is Yulan Nazarin. May I know where your highness is heading?”

”Isnʼt that obvious?” Clara still sounded annoyed, ”Although it doesnʼt seem like Iʼll make it there with how slow this ship is, Iʼm really not interested in anything other than increasing my strength right now. Leave.”

”As you wish, your highness.”

Yulan Nazarin cupped his hands again, ”However, if I may be bold enough to invite you to my flying ship, we can get there sooner.”

”Oh? Is it an Autarch Grade Flying Ship? Otherwise, Iʼd rather stay and improve my cultivation first.”

”It is indeed an Autarch Grade Flying Ship, your highness.”

”I see.” Clara nodded, ”In that case, I will impose on you.”

”In that case, I, her highnessʼs loyal servant, will also accompany her.”

”I will also accompany her~”

Two people appeared beside Clara. It was a man and a woman.

The man wore brown armor and possessed white hair, while the woman also had white hair, but she was clad in an icy-blue robe.

ʼA King-Tier Ice Phoenix…!ʼ

Yulan Nazarinʼs eyes widened ever so lightly. However, considering the other party was the owner of the Transcendent Truth Eyes Physique, should he say it was as expected?

As for the man, he looked toward him but couldnʼt find anything notable, but that was normal for a servant. He guessed they appeared out of Claraʼs life ring. She was indeed wearing one, and he didnʼt find that strange since he was also wearing one.

Cultivators of their caliber could be found wearing one as long as they had people traveling with them or growing a personal garden.

”Alright, please follow me outside.”

He gestured elegantly and walked out of the cabin, slowly ascending towards his flying ship.

Clara walked past Founder Alstreim and Kladeʼs, whose expressions were blank. The unknown man and Xiaolan also walked past them without saying a word.

When the three of them appeared on the deck, they ascended and reached the Autarchʼs flying ship. A few seconds later, the Autarchʼs flying ship zoomed out, instantly disappearing from their view.

”…”

Founder Alstreim and Klade remained silent even after the flying ship left before they opened their mouths at the same time.

”What the fuck!?”

Did Clara just leave their group with Xiaolan? They didnʼt know who that brown-armored, white-haired man was, but fuck him too.

They panicked, wondering what Davis decided for him to send out Clara instead of fighting a life-and-death battle.

Inside the Nine-Treasured Immortal Ordeal Palace, Davis sighed and looked at Lereza.

”Why? Just why did you send out Clara first?”

”It was her wish, and I didnʼt see any other way to overcome this situation. That Heavenʼs Warrior was a Level Three Autarch with prowess at least two levels higher. Thereʼs no way Iʼm letting you or anyone here battle him. Weʼll all be discovered, and thereʼs an Upper Realm node open nearby. Thereʼs no telling if reinforcements will arrive.”

”…”

Davis clenched his fists as he glared at Lereza, causing her to take a few steps back and hide behind Myria in fright. However, he released his clenched fists.

He couldnʼt get himself to be angry at her since what she said was right.

The situation when Heavenʼs Warrior Autarch opened the concealed door was so tense that he was ready to whip out Fallen Heaven and kill him silently. However, Clara suddenly had Lereza send her out to deal with the Autarch.

He couldnʼt help but blame himself, knowing it was his own inability that led to this situation. If he were only as strong as a Peak Empyrean, then this wouldnʼt be a problem in the Third Layer. But to reach such a cultivation base, he didnʼt know just how many years it would take.

”Wait? Isnʼt that man a part of the Metenoa Family, the one who tried to exploit us? He was still alive?”

Tanya looked confused. She had personally slain him, but suddenly he was with them?

She couldnʼt understand. However, Davis sent him out to accompany Clara after he had no choice but to play with what Clara had come up with on the spur of the moment.

”…”

Davis stayed quiet.

He couldnʼt expose that he had just gone out with Clara using Karmic Impersonation. The others still perceived it as him sending out that nobody from the Metenoa Family should accompany Clara.

They didnʼt recognize it was him. Even Evelynn, who shared an ocular connection with him, couldnʼt. Only Myria was aware of it, as he told her personally. She looked at his avatar with wide eyes, not knowing how this would end.

However, he didnʼt leave them to die.

She looked at a piece of Fallen Heaven in her soul. He left it with her, leaving only a single sentence.

”No matter what happens, donʼt hesitate to use it if itʼs for the safety of the family.”

A torn piece of obsidian scroll didnʼt seem to be much, but she could feel the intense power hidden behind it. It was as though no Empyrean could survive such a thing.

Trillions of kilometers away, after a spatial warp, Davisʼs eyes narrowed as he looked into the distance.

Only Myria was capable of using Fallen Heaven like him, or even better, since she was the origin of their soul. He wanted to give her Fallen Heaven as the safety of his family was of the utmost importance but was afraid she would instead follow him with such power in her arsenal, so he quickly decided to leave her with a piece of Fallen Heaven.

This would make her think more than twice, rather than just abandoning everything to come after him if he was in danger.

Looking at the scenery practically change into noise every second, he sighed lightly.

ʼIn any case, it seems like the Karmic Impersonation worked well. This is also good. I wonʼt have to endanger my family with my foolish wish of wanting to save my friends. However, I should be able to make it in time since this is indeed a faster ride…ʼ

His gaze flickered.

The change in fate he was waiting for was finally here.

He looked behind him, gazing at Clara and Yulan Nazarin, who were currently involved in a conversation.
